Chapter 4 - Kneel for Rewards! My Parents Are My Power Farm

What greeted Ella was her parents, Jade and Yula. She stared at them with disdain but quickly suppressed her emotions. Having been abruptly dragged into this unfamiliar world and given new parents was something she found hard to accept. It unsettled her, made her feel trapped in a reality she wanted to deny. She didn't know if Olivia felt the same, but for Ella, she resented her situation.

Jade and Yula arrived, observing Ella, who was the only one awake. Jade spoke first.

"You're awake. Good. That means we can introduce ourselves properly." His gaze shifted toward Olivia, who was still sleeping soundly, before continuing, "Since your twin sister is still asleep, we'll start with you, Ella."

His voice was calm, but deep down, he was brimming with excitement. Witnessing his daughters officially step into cultivation within a single week was beyond extraordinary—it was monstrous. Entering the Primal Nexus Realm so effortlessly made his hands itch with anticipation. This only solidified his resolve to register them for the Primordial Youth Rankings. His daughters had the potential to stand at the peak, and he couldn't be more proud. Taking a deep breath, he said,

"Ella, I am your father. You can call me whatever you like."

Beside him, Yula maintained a cool expression, her demeanor exuding an icy calmness. Yet, beneath that exterior was a mother overflowing with warmth and affection.

"I'm your mother. Call me Mom or Mother, however you prefer," she said softly, relief flickering in her eyes. She had finally taken the first step in bonding with her twin daughters. The thought of pampering them filled her with delight.

Ella hesitated. Should I pretend? Damn it, I have no choice. She inwardly grumbled but forced herself to act. Suppressing her anger, she feigned confusion.

"Father? Mother?" she murmured, her expression filled with childlike innocence.

Jade and Yula's hearts swelled with joy. Yula, in particular, had to restrain herself from rushing forward and hugging Ella on the spot. She pressed a hand to her chest, suppressing a ridiculous wave of excitement. She's so adorable!

Jade, on the other hand, blushed slightly. His heart warmed at Ella's clueless act. A child who knows nothing of the world? A perfect opportunity. Ella almost broke character, barely holding back the urge to gag. The awkward silence unsettled her.

Before she could crumble under the weight of her own awkwardness, Yula spoke, her tone gentle yet firm.

"Ella, a mother is someone you must love the most. And I, as your mother, love you dearly."

Yula had begun her brainwashing tactics. She saw this as the perfect opportunity to make Ella emotionally dependent on her. Though she appeared calm on the surface, her mind was filled with images of a future where Ella adored her and only her.

Jade, unwilling to lose ground, quickly added,

"Ella, a father is strong, someone who will always protect and guide you. If there's anything you want to learn, I'll teach you."

His words carried a shameless level of persuasion. Yula didn't protest; after all, it didn't interfere with her plans. Instead, she maintained a serious expression, further reinforcing their indoctrination.

Ella was speechless.

They actually believed she was a newborn child with no knowledge of the world and were blatantly trying to manipulate her. The sheer audacity left her stunned. However, she kept up her act, pretending to be clueless. With a hesitant nod, she faced them.

Seeing her response, Jade and Yula were convinced their plan was working. They just needed more time to solidify their bond.

Maintaining her childish facade, she looked at them and innocently said,

Ella smirked internally. Extending her small hands, she gently patted their heads.
