My Trash Talent Is Actually OP!

Chapter 67: Velcrest International Academy [1]

The next day came as it always did, with the sun rising from the west, which Asher would have some getting used to.

The sunlight filtered through every possible window in the apartment, creating a beautiful golden scenery that one would enjoy with a cup of hot coffee.

Apparently, Asher had woken up earlier than usual, feeling better than he did before. The cut on his palm was healed, and his fatigue was gone.

He sauntered out of his room lazily, letting his feet brush the cool tiles as he moved, while he racked his brain to put together all he had discovered, as well as think of a way to apply for the international missions and food.

Food was very important.

He arrived at the living room, turning to the kitchen only to find Emma there, her hair tied in a bun and an apron around her waist that somehow accentuated her shape.

And Asher couldn't doubt the fact he actually liked it.

When she raised her head, and her brown eyes met his, then gleamed, she smiled warmly. "Waking up early, that's new."

He chuckled softly and slid into a seat at the counter, then he sighed. "I want to ask why you're here this early..."

"...I came to get you and the weird guy," she replied before he could finish, and placed a plate before him. "Pancakes or waffles?"

He glanced at the stoves and saw what she was preparing. His eyes widened slowly. As if she read his mind, she nodded.

"You can't be serious?... How long have you been here? Who even let you in?"

Emma smiled and raised her hand. A small wooden key formed from the vines that rose out of her finger. "I can create anything and everything I want. Besides, I'm not just anyone here."

"That's creepy."

"Says the guy who raised dead people and knows about dragons."

"I hope you didn't say that to anyone."

"I told Naomi," she shrugged. "She really wants to see you do it."

Asher's gaze turned grim. "You're joking, right?"

"Hm?" She glanced at him but then smiled knowingly. "No, I can't hide anything from Naomi."

Asher mumbled something incoherent and slowly rose from where he sat. He didn't wait to listen to her before exiting the apartment completely.

Emma watched him climb up to the roof from the window, and then exhaled. She put everything she prepared into a flask, prepared coffee, and exited the apartment as well.

She helped herself up to the roof, using her vines like grappling hooks, and found him at the corner of the building, fuming silently.

"You should eat," she said, announcing her presence, while she placed the flask and cups on the table.

Asher, however, didn't spare her a glance. He just said, "You should leave."

"And if I don't?"

Ignorant as always, he scoffed. "Then I might be more annoyed to either leave you here or pour my anger on you."

"Ouu," Emma smirked, raising a hand to her lips. "I dare you."

Asher didn't react. He only glanced at her from the corner of his eyes and then shook his head. "You're really acting strange."

"I know."

"Did you spend time with Sinnett?"

"Eww... No!" She slowly averted her gaze and sat down on the bench. "Just testing out something."

"I see. Why did you tell Naomi about what I did though?"

"I didn't. She barely even looks at me, unless it's warning glares..." she exhaled loudly, like she was about to cry. "I've gotten about a hundred threatening messages from her and even got confronted by her minions."

Asher didn't react once again. He just turned around and walked over to the desk, then he sat near her. "Can you show me?"

She shook her head. "You'll think I'm pathetic."

"But you are pathetic," he replied flatly. "It's not like it's a good thing, but it's cute, so... yeah, you are pathetic."

Emma cupped her cheeks and turned away. "Don't call me names and still say I'm cute. That's not nice."

Asher chuckled and silently dipped his hand into her pocket while she was distracted and brought out her phone.

Turning it on, he was met with a very very strange background wallpaper... Simply put, it was a picture of Ria in a bunny costume.

He came across her home wallpaper, of her in a cropped top and shorts, but he quickly pushed back all weird thoughts and went to her mail.

He saw the first chat from him, the second was Nova... Strange, third was a guy from her guild, and finally Naomi's chat, unread.

'Too shy to even open it, huh,' he said to himself before tapping on the icon. He started from the first threats.

---

Hey Fatty, what do you think you're doing with my boyfriend, huh?

Emma replied... I'm not doing anything with him, and please can you not call me a fatty.

Naomi replied... And who are you to tell me what to do? You are fat and you like food. Remember you're to serve me. If not for your smelly dad and his stupid new job, you would still be depending on me.

I wonder who would be so unfortunate to hire a man like that.

Look, stay away from Asher or I will make you pay dearly. I remember you have weak bones, be sure to wrap up thicker tomorrow because I will snap them all if I see you near him.

The evening of that same day.

Hey, who do you think you are leaving me on read? I saw you with Asher and that new exchange student. Have you graduated from being a boyfriend thief to a whore?

I'm not upset about the fact you even left me on read, but the fact you... fatty... are hanging out with Varrow and even Asher.

Someone told me he even pats your head, I bet you didn't hesitate to open your legs for the Varrow guy. I trust Asher, he wouldn't stoop that low.

Hey!

Answer me!

I swear if I come across you tomorrow at school and I spot you with Asher or Varrow, and even Tay, I promise you your wretched father will have more to worry about than just broken bones.

Stay away from my boyfriend because I will ruin your life.

The next morning.

Hey, I see you're leaving me on read. I'll let it slide... just so you know, I still have access to those pictures we took... remember, the bikini and spa pictures?

I know you don't want anyone to see what you look like underneath all those clothes... so please, stay away from my boyfriend or I'll send them to those pervs so they'll hunt you until they get what they want.

I'm sure even Varrow would be irritated to even touch you again.

Oh yes, I even have tabs on your dad, and I won't hesitate to kill him... your mother died by my father's hands which was totally his fault for falling in love with a filthy married woman, it will be your turn too.

Don't forget, your application to Velcrest International Academy depends on me now, so stay away from the guys I like if you want nothing to go wrong, and bring me my favorite lunch while you're at it.

Asher's expression became worse than a frown or even a scowl the moment he finished reading all the messages.

He glanced at Emma, who was also reading with him, with tears welling up in her eyes, then his gaze softened.

"Why didn't you tell me it was this bad?"

She rubbed her eyes and dropped her gaze to her lap. "I didn't know how you'd take it, and the fact you would have killed her last time was also discouraging."

"Do you think she means every single word?"

"Yes," Emma whispered, "Her family has the highest rate of murders... no one can say anything because just like Sinnett, she cannot be touched too."

"I beg to differ."

"Please don't do anything you will regret," she pleaded, hoping he would listen, but Asher just scoffed and picked up the flask.

"We'll be heading to the academy soon, so eat up. I'll handle Naomi."

Emma sighed in defeat. She knew better than to tell him not to do anything, because deep down she really wanted him to do something.

She watched him open the flask and take a bite out of a pancake, waiting to see his expression, and he was quite impressed and satisfied.

"Mmhmm," he mumbled, "This is good, even better than what Alya would cook... don't tell her I said that and you'll be in charge of my lunch or anything food... like a second course."

She giggled and nodded, "No problem."

"Good, now tell me what's the International Academy about?"
