My SSS-Rank Clone Talent: I Level Up Endlessly!

Chapter 232: Simp!?

Grey looked at the Grimoire and couldn't help but recall a certain slang from Earth, simple, popular, and brutally honest:

Simp.

A being who chases after love without restraint, doing everything possible to win affection, all while refusing to acknowledge the truth, that they're little more than a nuisance to the one they adore, and may never receive anything in return.

It might seem romantic on the surface, but in truth, it was nothing more than foolishness, a willful blindness born from love, clinging to fantasy while ignoring reality.

'To think even Grimoires could be simps…' Grey found the idea oddly entertaining. He couldn't hide the smirk tugging at his lips.

The very thought of it felt both foreign and hilarious.

"Human, as long as you can save me, I'm willing to be tamed by you," the Succubus Grimoire said anxiously.

Grey simply stared at her and said nothing. In his mind, however, he was cursing her. 'What kind of perso, no, Grimoire, are you? These other Grimoires are just pursuing you to show their love, and you're acting like they're the bad guys trying to hurt you.'

There was a forbidden word Grey wanted to call this Succubus Grimoire, but he restrained himself and stayed silent.

What truly interested him was the chasing Grimoires ability to mend the Void itself. And chasing her, there were many Grimoires here that could prove useful to him.

So he had only one question:

How do I tame them all?

Well, the answer to his question might lie in this pink Grimoire.

At this moment, Grey was already cooking up a plot in his mind that would allow him to tame all the Grimoires!

"It's been a while since I met you, Nyxaria," Lilith spoke with a tone of amusement as Nyxaria finally appeared in front of them.

"Wait, you are Lilith?" Nyxaria spoke with a stunned voice.

"Yeah, who do you think I was then?" Lilith spoke.

Nyxaria halted in place and warily wanted to back away; however, her pursuers were already close by, and she couldn't do anything about it, which made her even more hesitant in her heart.

"Is that deal still maintained?" Grey spoke with his eyes brightening considerably.

"What deal?" Nyxaria spoke with anxiousness.

"The deal was about taming."

"Yeah," Nyxaria shouted.

"Good." Grey nodded and raised his quill to write in the pages of Lilith.

He wrote four simple words:

"One soul, Multiple Paths."

However, the intent behind it was completely and utterly different from what he had previously used, his emotion poured into this writing.

And for a moment, Grey closed his eyes.

"Hurry up," Nyxaria shouted with increasing anxiety as the other male Grimoires were just seconds away from reaching her.

In an instant, Grey's eyes snapped open, revealing boundless blue pupils that shimmered like the storm-touched sea.

Behind him, a faint but awe-inspiring image took form, a majestic white dragon wreathed in lightning, its presence radiant and blinding to behold.

It was a sight both divine and dreadful, like a dragon god descending to the mortal plane.

The sheer pressure it exuded warped the very atmosphere, making the air feel heavy, stale, oppressive.

It was as if a thousand kilograms pressed down on everybody present.

At that moment, every Grimoire froze in place, unable to move, caught beneath the gaze of the dragon's slitted, godlike eyes.

Then, the dragon spoke, its voice echoing through the world like thunder:

"Bow, mortals!"

The sky dimmed. Lightning split the heavens. The air itself seemed to scream with pressure, and many felt as if their hearts might burst under the overwhelming force.

Grey chuckled inwardly. "It feels good to act high and mighty sometimes."

Of course, the soul he was connected to was none other than Drayken.

One by one, the Grimoires began to fall to the ground, unable to withstand the oppressive pressure.

Even the pink Grimoire was no exception.

With calm steps, Grey walked toward Nyxaria. A glowing blue prompt appeared before him.

Just as he was about to accept it, a Grimoire floated up, the one that mended the void: the Mending Grimoire.

"I won't allow it," it roared.

With him, the other Grimoires slowly began to rise from the ground, pushing back against the crushing force emanating from the dragon behind Grey.

"Yeah, we won't allow it," another echoed.

Flashes of light erupted across the area as, one by one, the Grimoires stood their ground, enduring the weight of the oppressive atmosphere.

"Oh?" Drayken, standing behind Grey, chuckled in amusement at the sight before him.

"You might've been able to stand against me, if you had human masters. But without them, you're nothing more than weapons without spirit energy."

As his voice fell, lightning erupted from the heavens, raining down with ruthless fury. The Grimoires were struck relentlessly, engulfed in blinding bolts of pure destruction.

The barrage lasted only minutes, but it felt like eternity.

When the lightning finally ceased, the battlefield was scorched and silent. As the smoke cleared, Grey could see the aftermath, every Grimoire lay charred and broken, nearly reduced to ash.

But, somehow, they still clung to life.

Grey swayed slightly, a sudden heaviness weighing down his body. Exhaustion flooded his senses, and his vision blurred considerably.

"Hmm?" he frowned inwardly. "Is my body already feeling the toll, from your power, Drayken?"

"Likely," Drayken replied. "This world is weaker than I expected. I might already be one of the top beings here."

"Well, you are as strong as a Telekinetic Grandmaster, almost the peak power in the Dragon and Telekinetic World," Grey muttered with an eye roll. "Of course you'd be powerful here."

Drayken chuckled. "Alright, I'm leaving."

The image of the colossal dragon behind Grey faded in an instant, vanishing like mist.

The storm clouds parted, revealing a calm, sunlit sky.

Grey took a deep breath, then turned and walked over to Nyxaria.

He looked into her trembling eyes and asked simply, "Will you?"

Nyxaria hesitated for only a moment, the horror of what she'd just witnessed still etched into her expression.

"…Yeah," she whispered, her voice shaky. The terrifying memory of the dragon's wrath still echoed in her mind.

Grey's vision shifted, and before him stood a petite woman.

A thin, heart-shaped tail curled behind her, and delicate wings fluttered gently at her back. Though small in stature, her body was perfectly proportioned, curvaceous in all the right places, exuding a natural allure that stirred desire at a single glance.

Her skin was porcelain-white, and her face flawless, so enchanting that Grey found himself momentarily entranced.

He blinked, struggling to pull himself free from her charm.

"…Sigh."
