My SSS-Rank Clone Talent: I Level Up Endlessly!

Chapter 222: Increasing Spiritual Energy!

A vast surge of information flooded Grey's mind, streaming in like an unstoppable tide.

But he didn't flinch.

He stood there, calm and composed, absorbing every detail with quiet ease.

Lilith paused, clearly surprised.

"…How are you able to endure that and still remain so calm?"

"Because I'm strong," Grey replied flatly, accepting the torrent of knowledge like a true chad.

After a moment, he closed his eyes, organizing the fragmented memories and insights as they settled into place.

Then, with a slow breath, he opened them again, satisfaction gleaming in his gaze.

"An ability to sever or connect souls…" he murmured, lips curling into a grin, "This is awesome."

Among the many abilities he had just learned, those two stood out, the potential they held was beyond terrifying.

Grey's eyes lit up with anticipation.

Connect souls…

If it worked, maybe he could even connect with his other clones across different worlds. The very idea thrilled him.

And Sever Soul, that might allow him to cut ties with clones if needed, giving him even more control.

If this was real, then every clone could be coordinated, gathering Destiny Points across realms would be much easier.

That would boost everyone's strength several times over.

"This could change everything…" he muttered, eyes gleaming.

"Hmph. Pervert," Lilith sniffed, floating backward with a look of disdain.

"Huh? I'm a pervert?" Grey blinked, pointing to himself in disbelief. "What did I even say!?"

"Yeah, you're a pervert. Your whole bloodline is perverted. Everything about you just screams pervert," Lilith snapped, her frustration practically dripping from her voice.

And with that, she turned into a swirl of crimson light and shot back into Grey's body.

Grey exhaled sharply, muttering under his breath, "Did I tame you, or did you tame me?"

She was throwing tantrums over nothing and it was starting to get under his skin.

Not one to let things slide, Grey closed his eyes. A flash of red light flared again, and Lilith was forcefully summoned back out of his body.

She floated there with an annoyed look. "Why are you calling me again?"

"I called you because I still need you," Grey replied flatly, brows furrowed. "So be quiet for a moment."

Lilith moved her giant red grimoir, pouting. Then, after a moment of huffing silence, she muttered, "Alright, fine."

Grey turned his gaze to the other nine and offered a pleasant smile.

"You guys can continue. I don't care."

"Okay," one of them replied casually.

With barely a second thought, the nine each focused on the Grimoire floating before them. Spiritual energy surged from their bodies, and in synchronized stillness, their eyes fluttered shut, each one collapsing to the ground, one by one.

Grey shook his head with a sigh: "Do they not care about their own safety?"

Still, he understood why. After all, the entire kingdom's security forces were stationed around this sacred place.

It was an unspoken rule: if any participant tried to harm another during the ceremony, they would be executed on the spot, no matter who they were.

There was a time when even the crown prince had dared to test the rules.

He tried to strike down a rival while the latter was unconscious, midway through taming a Grimoire. His plan was simple: kill the target, then pin the blame on another participant who had also passed out.

But when he emerged from the trial grounds, he was greeted not by triumph but by horror.

Thousands of elite soldiers stood waiting, sealing off the area in an airtight formation.

Before he could utter a single word of explanation, they descended upon him like a tidal wave.

The crown prince was slaughtered on the spot, mercilessly, brutally, and without trial.

That scene alone, sent a chill through the entire kingdom.

A massacre so cold and swift that even now, whispers of it made people draw sharp breaths.

If even a crown prince could die, then no one was above the law here.

So, of course, these people had absolute confidence that they wouldn't be attacked while taming their grimoires.

"Sigh."

Grey squinted at the glowing Grimoire, Lilith, once again.

"Will I be able to write on your pages without exhausting my spiritual energy?" he asked, curiosity lacing his tone.

"It's unlikely," Lilith replied casually with a shrug. "You'd need to be at least a high-tier Disciple to have enough spiritual htz to write in me. Hmph, if you weren't so handsome, I wouldn't have even glanced your way, talent or not."

"Talent? I have talent?" Grey blinked, a question mark practically written across his face.

"Yeah. You managed to reach the high-tier Trainee Book Master level right after awakening yesterday. Of course I noticed," Lilith said with a knowing smile.

"You can even tell that?" Grey was startled.

"Of course. I can sense everything related to spiritual energy in this world," she replied matter-of-factly.

"Woah, I didn't expect that." Grey gave her a casual thumbs-up. "So I need to get stronger, Do you know how?"

He tilted his head, genuinely curious. "As a Diamond-rank Grimoire, surely you know a method, right?"

"Yeah," Lilith nodded, her Grimoire form somehow radiating pride despite having no face. "My previous owner was the King of this country, after all. I know all his secrets, including the image he used to grow stronger."

"Image?" Grey frowned, puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"Images are visual anchors you meditate on," Lilith explained, her voice thoughtful. "They naturally enhance your absorption rate of spiritual energy."

"Then teach it to me," Grey said, eyes lighting up with excitement. Without hesitation, he sat cross-legged and closed his eyes, preparing to meditate.

Upon taming the Diamond Grimoire, Grey had already broken through to the Disciple level.

Advancing to High-tier Disciple Book Master shouldn't be difficult for him—not with his talent and the power now at his disposal.

The only issue was that he couldn't quite confirm if he had reached that level yet. There was no direct system message or indicator.

Fortunately, he had Lilith who practically could tell by just looking.

If anyone could give him answers, or solve problems he didn't even know he had, it was her.

Without wasting another moment, Grey exhaled slowly and slipped into full concentration. His mind quieted. His heartbeat steadied.
