My Soul card is a Reaper

Chapter 840: 322nd Hidden clan meeting (part-4)

The room was quiet once more at the mention of the cores.

However, instead of the cores, Azzy raised his hand, energy rushing out of his palm before transforming into two worlds. One is very big while the other is tiny, but it is rotating around that big world.

"Originally, I only planned on revealing to Clan head Shuichi and King Searvale, but I take this opportunity to reveal this. The big world you are seeing is the Arcana world." Azzy then pointed at the tiny energy orb. "And this is the moon that's revolving around the planet. You cannot get to this place because it is too far away, and there are no teleportation channels to go there either. Naturally, I had my own methods to travel there. It's about 800 km in diameter and roughly 2 million square kilometers. In other words, it is as big as Freyles. It has an atmosphere to breathe, a bit less gravity, but natural vegetation and a fresh water source over there somehow had a mechanism of recreation so that it will last eons. And this is where our new country will be."

A hush fell over the room.

Francis narrowed his eyes. "You want to colonize the moon of the Arcana world?"

"The purpose of Hidden Clans is to stay away from the eyes of the public and remain their presence unknown to the world, not to hide in the pocket dimension. If I can form a country at such a place. Why shouldn't I?" Azzy said simply. He tapped the table with his index finger once again, dismissing the energy projection. "The Arcana world is a domain of the Guardian god, my master, Saint Ravens. There, the authority of the gods will stay minimal. No higher force will be able to dictate our actions either. And with Queen Ingrid's warning, I believe it is better to move there so that we can watch over both worlds quietly."

Taking a deep breath, he looked at the others and said. "King Searvale, Clan Head Fujiwara, this is the place I have chosen for the new country I plan to establish. I intend to split this entire land into three equal parts if you wish to move ahead with the merge and no one else is willing to join." He then glanced at others. "I extend this offer to other hidden clans, but only once."

Francis gave a low laugh. "There's only one problem, though, Lord Garcia."

"Hmm?"

Francis reminded them. "That moon you were talking about is a part of the materialistic world. And Hidden Clans cannot stay in the materialistic world, isn't that right?"

Azzy turned to him and smiled faintly. "As I have said earlier, the purpose of hidden clans is to stay in the shadows, not stay away from the materialistic world. If you want, I will compile the list of doctrines created by the founders. Moreover, I'm not claiming the land from any country or organization. I'm claiming a no-man's land. Also, that invitation doesn't extend to you, though. The Death Clan doesn't trust the Blood Clan."

Francis raised an eyebrow. The clan heads murmured with the ones sitting next to him, discussing whether it was okay for the Death Clan to do that.

The murmurs were still simmering around the council table when Azzy cleared his throat again. Eyes turned back to him.

"I'm not finished yet," he said, his voice steady.

He leaned forward into the table again, eyes scanning each of the nine. "Third, we're going public."

A sudden stiffness filled the air.

"Don't misunderstand. I don't mean that way. I'm merely establishing a second nation," he continued. "Not in some hidden corner, not on a sealed moon, but in the real world, in the heartlands of Camelot."

Now they were listening.

"A proper, recognized country," Azzy said. "One with embassies, a government, and infrastructure. We'll register it under a new name. And that country is going to act as the headquarters for all our operations, atleast the joint operations, and also the academy, and everything. Of course, the funding and efforts of building the country shall be equally contributed by the hidden clans."

"Is it going to be ruled by this table?" Fjor asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Governed by our people, yes," he replied. "Clans that agree to be part of this initiative will be offered land, administrative space, and representation, but under a common constitution."

He waved his hand, and a new projection rose above the table, sleek towers, gleaming roads, labs, military hubs, and a central academy campus that stretched like a star across a forested plateau. "Our clans have their own roles to fulfill, apart from keeping a number of monsters in the Arcana world in equilibrium.

The Death Clan focuses more on keeping the evil under control and uses natural disasters to control the population whenever it rises the threshold.

The Moon Clan controls the forgeries and protects the natural resources.

The Minamoto Clan controls the fishing trade and marine life.

The Elves protect the forests and wildlife, preventing too much deforestation for the sake of building urban cities.

The Kuru Clan protects the righteous individuals who fight against an evil system or organization, guiding them to become leaders.

The Asgardians were the secret protectors of the realm, making sure to destroy every monster that accidentally crossed their respective regional barrier.

The Sun Clan used to protect the culture and tradition, while the Dragon Clan used to control the economy, ensuring no country would go bankrupt.

Last but not least, the Angels provide guidance to those individuals who are not right in the state of their mind so that they follow the path of good."

Taking a pause, Azzy continued, his voice raised slightly, "However, many times, we clash with one another because of a conflict of interests or a lack of communication. So, I think it is better to have a unified platform, not just for taking unilateral decisions such as a hidden clan meet, but also to have a country, as small as it can be, that can help us execute our missions. In the last meeting, we agreed on a joint special forces and an academy for the hidden clan, and things that basically let us work with one another better than before. This country can be that medium. We don't need to host in different clans every time, either. We can just host our meetings there."

No one immediately disagreed, though the air was thick with the kind of hesitation that came from centuries of secrecy.

Fjor folded his arms with a frown, the first to speak. "But, wouldn't that expose our existence and operations? WAMO is a powerful force."

Estella narrowed her eyes. "Do you think they didn't know about us or something? They just don't care about us, as long as we don't actively interfere with their operations."

"Anyways…" Azzy didn't let discussions erupt and conversation go off topic, He had many things to say, after all.

"Last time, we passed a resolution," Azzy said, his tone shifting into something sharper. "A Super Elite Joint Team, warriors, scholars, scouts, formed from each clan's best under 100. It is certainly due by 18 years."

He looked around with a steady gaze.
