My Perfect Female CEO

Chapter 367: Bringing Trouble Upon Oneself

The terrorists have been captured, the crisis is over.

Men, women, the elderly, and children, all still shaken, disembark from the plane.

Some are crying, some are laughing, the joy of surviving such an ordeal fills everyone's faces.

However, their eyes are almost entirely fixed on one person, or perhaps on several people, filled with gratitude and awe.

Ye Fan and Mengyao walk side by side, heading out of the airport, while Du Xueqi and the five women each carry two suitcases, looking formidable and radiant.

The most eye-catching figure is still Ye Fan, capturing everyone's attention.

That is the figure of a hero, a savior who rescued their lives.

"Salute!" The Ba Country Government soldiers, with solemn expressions, gaze fixedly at Ye Fan and his group, offering their highest respect.

"Look, you've become a hero once again." Mengyao smiles gently, feeling deeply proud.

"It's what I should do; I can't just stand by and watch people die." Ye Fan responds lightly.

Mengyao laughs even more joyfully, looking at Ye Fan and thinking silently, "What a character, but, truth be told, really charming."

"Honored guests, you are truly benefactors of Ba Country." Surrounded by people, Zia, a lieutenant, encloses Ye Fan and the others, offering sincere gratitude, "On behalf of the Ba Country Government, the people of Ba Country, thank you for your generous assistance."

Lieutenant Zia is extremely excited, moved to tears. If the terrorists hadn't been subdued, he would surely have been made a scapegoat by his superiors, heavily punished to provide an explanation to the outside world.

But now that the crisis is resolved, he no longer faces reprimand; instead, he will be credited.

Lieutenant Zia feared that Ye Fan and the others wouldn't understand the local language, so he communicated in English, speaking warmly and extending his hand.

Mengyao took a step back, leaving it to Ye Fan to handle the situation.

Ye Fan shook hands with Lieutenant Zia, then turned to Du Xueqi, "Can you translate what this soldier in uniform just said?"

"Go on, keep pretending. As if you don't understand English, you even know Urdu, so how could you not understand a language made up of a few letters." Mengyao almost laughed, turning her face away.

"Benefactor, that's a lieutenant, not just some soldier." Du Xueqi and the five women exchanged glances and then smiled silently.

Du Xueqi stepped forward, taking on the role of translator.

Ye Fan wasn't pretending or hiding anything; it was to avoid unnecessary trouble and to facilitate future actions.

Besides, Du Xueqi and the five women's abilities must be used appropriately; it's best to keep their strengths hidden unless absolutely necessary.

"Tell him that any person with a sense of justice would act bravely against evil, such as terrorists, deserving universal condemnation." Ye Fan looked at Du Xueqi and responded matter-of-factly.

Upon hearing Du Xueqi's translation, Lieutenant Zia praised Ye Fan's character highly, exclaiming, "Honorable sir, you are an angel sent to Ba Country by Allah, the most virtuous person I've ever met." The fu$ll seri@e^s lives+ on My Vi-r*t@u#al+ Li!bra&ry@ Empire (&M|V|!L0E!M+P.Y&R)..

Du Xueqi served as the interpreter, and after chatting for a while, Lieutenant Zia embarrassingly said, "I still don't know how to address you honored guests."

With that, he introduced himself.

Du Xueqi emphasized Ye Fan's introduction and referred to herself as the translator.

"Are you here for travel or just passing through?" Lieutenant Zia asked politely.

"Doing a little business." Ye Fan said, "Your country isn't exactly a tourist hotspot; it's one of the places where war films originate."

"Mr. Ye, you have quite the sense of humor." Lieutenant Zia smiled and assured him, "Here's my contact information. If you encounter any difficulties in the future, just let me know, because doing business here without backing doesn't guarantee the safety of your life or property."

"Thanks, Lieutenant Zia, I'll be in touch." Ye Fan replied courteously.

Finally, Ye Fan and his group politely declined Lieutenant Zia's cordial invitation and left after courteously refusing.

"Since we're new to Ba Country, shouldn't we seize this opportunity to establish a good relationship with that lieutenant for the sake of our future business? Why are you dismissive of him?" Mengyao asked in confusion.

"Here, we can't trust anyone; we can only rely on ourselves." Ye Fan spoke gravely, "Despite the lieutenant's courteousness, he actually doesn't care about us. If there's an interest involved, he would betray us without hesitation."

"Boss, what the benefactor said makes a lot of sense. In Ba Country, only those with soldiers and power have the right to speak; otherwise, in the hands of those who hold real power, others are just ants." Du Xueqi said in a low voice, "That Lieutenant Zia was sent by the Ba Country Government to rescue hostages. We contributed, so he is courteous to us. If things go wrong or if someone offers money for our lives, he wouldn't hesitate to point his gun at us. In his view, our value is just money; thinking he's got guns and soldiers, he wouldn't care about anything else."

"I see, I really need to understand everything about this country." Mengyao said seriously.

Ye Fan and Mengyao walked out of the airport. The government soldiers of Ba Country showed them great respect, saluting them as they left.

Beside the plane, the flight attendant saved by Ye Fan from a terrorist disguised as a passenger remained dazed, watching Ye Fan, Mengyao, and the others disappear from sight.

Lieutenant Zia was very happy, smiling as he dismissed Ye Fan and the others from his mind.

"The ones who subdued the terrorists were me, and the credit is mine. Do you understand?" Lieutenant Zia asserted without doubt.

"Yes, yes, all thanks to the lieutenant's bravery in combat, capturing the rebels and rescuing all the hostages." People beside Lieutenant Zia started flattering him one by one.

Lieutenant Zia smiled contentedly, knowing that no one dared to speak out against him and that he would surely take credit for the accomplishment.

"Honorable lieutenant, how should we deal with those terrorists?" a military officer asked.

"Kill them." Lieutenant Zia instructed indifferently, then left.

The officer was stunned, then gave the order, and the unconscious terrorists lying on the airport's edge were shot, accompanied by several explosions, blown to pieces in an unconscious state.

Outside the airport, the leader orchestrating this terrorist attack, Michael, angrily clenched his fist.

"It's those Huaxia people causing trouble; it must be them that led to our failure. Otherwise, this carefully planned attack couldn't have failed." Michael gnashes his teeth.

Finally, he said viciously, "Dare to ruin our plans, clearly not wanting to live. Instruct the people below to keep their eyes open, find those Huaxia people's whereabouts, and then kill them."
