"Can you wait for a few minutes, just 5 minutes, and I will be back after informing them? Then we can finally be business partners," Diana spoke in haste, feeling bad that he would have to leave soon.

"It isn't good to hurry such a big deal. You should take your time and discuss this with others properly, and after you are completely sure, we can work together. I know where to find you, so we can discuss it when you are ready. Let's exchange contact info," Lucian spoke, his voice filled with care for her.

"It is alright—" While speaking, Vritra suddenly paused as he sensed something, then nodded with a smile and changed his words:

"Fine, I will wait. So take your time, there is no hurry. I will be here." After speaking, he leaned back into the chair to sit more comfortably.

"Oh! That's great, I'll be back soon." Diana hurriedly grabbed her laptop and walked out of the office with quick steps.

If it wasn't necessary to have others agree to this, then she would have already signed the deal with Lucian. Diana just needed to have some kind of connection with him.

After she left, Lucian focused his senses and clearly felt two figures approaching his location at incredible speed.

It wasn't long before the two figures passed through the crowd and arrived near Lucian. Passing under the door, both entered Diana's office and appeared in front of him.

"Oh? You two have already finished your mission? Well, that was fast." Lucian smiled and gazed at them.

These were two red figures with black patterns all over their bodies and tiny dots spread across the entire surface.

It was Velm—more precisely, two parts of the form that Lucian had sent to absorb the core energies from different planets through the chasms.

The first among them had entered a 2nd Phase chasm, while the other had entered a 4th Phase chasm. But since both had already been cleared, they just needed to absorb the core energy directly.

"Velm, cover the entire room," Lucian ordered, and instantly, Velm shot out of his hand and painted the entire inside of the office red, covering all the walls, windows, and door.

The connection with the outside was completely cut off, and no one would be able to enter even if they used force or guns.

After seeing the result, Lucian nodded in satisfaction. He didn't want to be disturbed during such an important process.

Finally, his gaze landed on the two parts of Velm that had turned into two spheres rolling around him, waiting for his orders.

Without saying anything, Lucian stretched both his hands towards them, preparing his mind and body to absorb the large amount of energy.

Both the red jelly-like Velm jumped and were absorbed into his body, disappearing completely as a large amount of energy was instantly released by them, flowing across his body.

Lucian released a long breath as he closed his eyes and allowed all this energy to fill his cells, blood, organs, and bones, becoming a part of him. His strength surged once again; the entire room trembled, and if it weren't for the protective layer of Velm, the whole building might have collapsed because of the tremors.

A suffocating aura was released around his body, getting stronger with each passing moment.

At this moment, his body seemed to be undergoing a huge transformation—much bigger than any before. From the 7th phase of evolution, his strength quickly rose to the 8th phase, as the room around him began to crack even under the protection of Velm.

The whole building was shaking under his transformation as if a dangerous earthquake had struck. All the people panicked and ran out of the building, not caring about anything else.

Diana, who was inside an office right now and informing important partners and high-position members of the company about the big deal through online and offline meetings, was shocked as the building began to shake violently.

"A-An earthquake?!!" Despite her prideful and fearless nature, she was still a normal human being. As it seemed the whole building might collapse, there was just one thought in her mind—to escape.

Without caring about the confused partners on the screens, she turned around and hastily left the room along with the others present there. All of them were in a hurry to leave the building.

It was dangerous to use the elevators at such a time, so all of them rushed toward the stairs. Diana too was about to go down the stairs when she remembered that Lucian might still be in her office.

She ran toward the building against the crowd who were running away from it. The only thought in her mind was to get him out of there.

Inside the office, waves after waves of energy were swirling around Lucian. Black flames burst out of his body, looking as if they would engulf the entire surroundings, but were soon absorbed back into his body.

Along with Lucian, not only the flames of corruption, Velm, and tiny insects were getting stronger, but even Zero was absorbing a small part of the energy. She had been growing along with him all along.

Finally, after almost half an hour had passed, the phenomenon came to a halt, and the restless energy was completely absorbed by Lucian.

He had finally reached the 8th phase of evolution.
