Chapter 354: Slaying the Demon_2
Su Han sensed the incoming attack, but he remained unresponsive.
The Queen of Insect Tans' shin scythes passed directly over, slicing off Langmuluo's arm with a swish.
With the Great Demon's power belonging to the Queen of Insect Tans eroding the wound, blood gushed out like a waterfall.
Langmuluo suffered a heavy blow and finally broke free from some of the control, rapidly retreating, but in the next moment the Queen of Insect Tans had already pounced.
Psychokinetic power pressed down on him, and tentacles surged from his spine like thousands of black snakes, burrowing into Langmuluo's body and continuously draining his strength.
'Audacious!'
Yarko and Xi Kui were greatly alarmed in their hearts; what kind of ruthless character was this human, who would launch such an attack even at the risk of serious injury?
They became equally ruthless in their minds, determined to eliminate this human right here.
The attack grew closer, but in the next moment, the sky suddenly turned blood red.
Whoosh
Between heaven and earth, several blood-colored tornadoes suddenly rose from the ground, forming a tall wall that just happened to block the path of Yarko's attack.
Yarko, seeing the emergence of the blood tornado, was unable to react in time and could only let his attack fall upon it.
The attack was torn apart by the blood tornado, and a powerful energy swept out, reducing the buildings within a kilometer to rubble.
A giant blood-colored dragon suddenly appeared beside Su Han and, with the speed of lightning, rushed in front of Yarko, its sharp claws grasping Yarko's shoulder blade and violently throwing him into the city buildings a kilometer away.
Rows of residential buildings collapsed like blocks, dust billowed, and under the Great Demon's body, Yarko was being pummeled by the Blood Prison Dragon.
The Blood Domain enveloped the area, and as the controlled region shrank, the power became more solid and terrifying.
Yarko desperately resisted, but already wounded and caught in a sneak attack, he could only take the beating.
The Blood Cross Formation emerged in the midst of the Blood Domain, like the blades of a slow torture, incrementally slicing Yarko's body, while the Blood Domain continuously drained his strength through erosion.
The incident happened suddenly; after Yarko was struck down, Xi Kui's heart sank, wanting to withdraw his attack to guard against Su Han's ploy.
But without a doubt, his reaction was also too late.
A space rift appeared behind him, the Molten Gold Titan already lying in ambush for a long time, holding the Blood Thunder Spear in hand, concentrating power to the extreme.
Not good!
Xi Kui turned around, wielding his blade to protect his vitals, conjuring a thick, solid energy shield in front of him.
The Molten Gold Titan disregarded his actions and simply hurled the Blood Thunder Spear.
Countless arcs of electricity burst forth, power converged to one point, turning the entire space a dark red, as time seemed to slow down indefinitely.
Crack
The energy protective layer was instantly penetrated; it failed to stop the attack but instead spurred even more blood thunder, then watched helplessly as the Blood Thunder Spear pierced through the shield and embedded deeply in his body.
Spiritual Energy continuously assailed his Great Demon's body, the power and authority of the Blood Sea Space constantly aiding his recovery from injuries.
But each attempt at self-healing clashed with the violent energy on the Blood Thunder Spear, creating arcs and booming like thunder.
Xi Kui was flung back, flying past Su Han and crashing into the ruins, creating a crater hundreds of meters wide.
The Blood Thunder Spear was nailed in his chest, suppressing his strength, his appearance utterly miserable.
The Molten Gold Titan strode forward, its six arms up, four of them wielding metal greatswords, arriving directly in front of Xi Kui.
Xi Kui wanted to fight back, holding a knife in one hand to block the incoming attacks.
The Molten Gold Titan's blade fell with a clang, severing the blade and then plunging it with a schlick into Xi Kui's arm.
Following suit, the four greatswords pinned Xi Kui's limbs to the ground, and the metals manipulator activated, the vast sword bodies transforming into snake-like liquid metal that flowed into Xi Kui's body, gradually restraining him.
Purgatory Furnace!
The Molten Gold Titan grasped the body of Xi Kui, the Great Demon, and behind it rose a dark red flame akin to the sun, melting into a metallic sphere.
Enveloping its surroundings, a terrifying suction force instantly pulled in nearby buildings, debris, slabs of rock... all drawn towards it, then continuously devoured and melted...
Xi Kui was incredibly frightened, but he was no better off than Yarko, now completely immobilized, only able to watch as the Molten Gold Titan slowly melted his body, stripping away his power.
The battle was decided, and in the brief exchange, Ningshou City had almost completely turned to ruins.
Su Han was about to allow his three Angel Envoys to slowly absorb the power of the Great Demon, and using them as a medium, utterly destroy the Blood Sea Space and prevent their resurrection.
Suddenly, he felt a shock in his heart, and his figure immediately flickered, covering his body with the Floating Pagoda Black Armor, while a Spiritual Energy Entity overlay his chest.
Boom
A beam of black light directly struck where he had just been, the ground silently disappearing, turning into nothingness. Within a hundred meters, not one building was spared, and a deep crater hundreds of meters deep appeared on the battlefield.
Su Han's face was frosty, and at that moment, within Ningshou City, spatial fluctuations once again erupted into chaos. Exactly thirty spatial rifts appeared, two as the main, with the remaining twenty-eight as auxiliary, encircling Su Han in the middle.
Due to that previous attack, Su Han found himself unexpectedly cut off from his three Angel Envoys.
From the rifts, a massive swarm of Zerg poured out, one after the other, much like ocean waves—worker insects, Holy Helmet Beetles, bladeworms, nearly overwhelming the city.
From within the two largest rifts, two huge dark purple insects gradually emerged.
Their shapes were as long as two to three hundred meters, floating in the sky like flying scorpions, with terrifying pincers and mouthparts. Their thick carapaces, like cast iron, radiated a chilling light.
As the two of them appeared together, a potent Fifth-Order aura immediately enveloped Su Han, and the presence of the Great Demon grew even more distinct. They were indeed two of the Zerg's Great Demons, the Void Giant Insects.
The attack just now had been launched by them, a sudden assault from within space without any sign, colder and more ruthless than the Lizardman, very much like hunters.
"Kill!"
Without any unnecessary words, their crimson antennae suddenly emitted red ripples. The two Void Giant Insects joined forces, directly disturbing the space around Su Han.
The invisible space rippled like water, covering an area of about two or three city blocks, with the Zerg becoming the masters of this domain and no other creatures in sight.
Blood Thunder Spear!
Under Su Han's control, the Molten Gold Titan immediately launched an attack at one of the Void Giant Insects, hurling the Blood Thunder Spear at its head.
The powerful attack streaked across the sky, but upon touching the ripples, it burst apart explosively.
Terrible force poured out, destroying all the buildings on the edge of the space and even shattering that part of space itself, scattering broken fragments like pieces of a mirror.
However, the red ripples continuously repaired themselves, the separation in space still existed, and attacks could not penetrate the barrier, making it even harder for the Angel Envoys to come through.
In some ways, it was similar to how Su Han had blocked space around South City.
Only this time, it was the Zerg who had planned deliberately against the unsuspecting Su Han.
"Human, there's no point in struggling."
Psychic waves transmitted their message, as countless Zerg converged on Su Han like a terrifying black tidal wave, by tens of millions, even hundreds of millions, with the vanguard fearlessly surrounding Su Han.
Exhaust Su Han, and then deal with him—that was the Zerg's plan.
They were always so ruthless, so patient, until they completed a hunt.
From the moment Su Han killed their Descendant Mother Titan Insect and the Titan Insect Beast, they had set their sights on him and South City.
While the tides of the mist were plentiful, large-scale descents were still difficult—until this opportunity.
They intended to resolve Su Han and then offer this highly talented human to the god of the Zerg.
Or at least, bestow Su Han's genes and Spiritual Factors to the Insect God.
Their method was always the same: plunder, devour, then grow ever stronger.
They had but one goal:
To make the Zerg ever greater!
