The scholarly man did not further question Zhou Can's identity as Su Qianqian's boyfriend.

He directly tried to persuade Zhou Can.

The implication was for him to know his place and not mess up this drinking session.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be good for him or Su Qianqian.
