Chapter 735: *A very special dimension*
Priests, after all, were not only extraordinary Mages; they were also great fighters. The prerequisites to become a Priest were not only to be able to gain an affinity with the 5 basic elements, but also to have the combat intelligence skills, which were the equivalent of a Stage 1 Warrior Spirit.
That was why the Warrior Spirits that were recruiting allies had been able to spot these future Priests. The only downside was that, as these Mages were all only 18 years old, the mastery they had over their elements was very low.
As they still had 10 days before Diana could shatter the seals that Miguel put in the Titan's world, Colin was given 8 days maximum to try to turn these weakling Mages into war machines.
At first, Colin thought that it was truly impossible, and that even though they could maybe level up their mastery significantly, that wouldn't make them ready for war.
When he voiced his doubts to Miguel, the latter laughed and gave him a magic bag containing only rings. These rings could give them access to a very special dimension where the passage of time was completely different.
One hour was the equivalent of one month in this dimension. However, there was a limitation to its use. Each of them could only use this ring 2 times a day, and they could stay inside the dimension for a maximum of 2 months at a time.
Miguel gave him these rings because the Warrior Spirits didn't need them anymore, as fighting inside the Red dungeons and the newly created red towers was much more valuable for them.
It was the same for the fighters they were training; experiencing true fights would be of more use to them than training in a dimension where they could only train among themselves, as there were no monsters inside it. Even though they could increase their fighting skills, they couldn't gain any experience, and their basic stats would also increase too slowly.
But this dimension was perfect for the Mages, as the spiritual and Divine energy inside it was very dense. It was easy to increase their mastery over their elements, and they could train in combat with the help of Nolan, Mykael, and Colin.
It was also the perfect place to learn how to launch powerful spells and to control them. This dimension was very vast, so there was plenty of space for all of them to train.
As for Erik, who was pregnant, Esmee had been adamant and forbade him from going inside, as she couldn't be sure if it would affect the growth of their baby. Since the safety of their baby was their priority, Alan and Erik had been following Esmee's advice to the letter.
It was only the third day they were in the Elemental World, and as Alan had already mastered his fire element to the maximum, he was trying out new spells while all the other Mages were meditating. Colin would give him pointers from time to time to increase the efficiency of his spells, but overall, Alan was a true genius, and Colin found him even scary sometimes.
As Alan could now use level 10 spells, he was trying to replicate the scorching heat of lava with his spell. He had previously developed chains made of fire that could imprison elite warrior monsters, but to fight against the Titans, it wasn't enough, and this spell was only a level 4 spell.
Right now, he had modified his original spell, and thanks to Colin's knowledge, he knew that his Chains of Fire were now a level 8 spell. He couldn't replicate the lava, but his chains, made of condensed particles of fire, were now bloody red, and flames of the same color were enveloping them.
Then, as Alan was still not satisfied with his spell, he decided to try mixing some golden particles into it. It was a very risky move, as when you combined different elements, you had to find the right balance, or your spell could become unstable.
But right now, Alan had a level 4 affinity with the Angelic Divine element, so his mastery over it was sufficient to avoid a disaster if he lost control over his spell.
While everything was under his control, he suddenly lost his concentration, and his spell, which was now made of fire and golden particles, went wild. The chains, which were still a bloody red color, now had their outlines in gold, and even the flames enveloping them had golden outlines.
Colin, who was focused on his students and was currently changing the elemental fire crystals to enable them to absorb as many fire particles as possible, got a fright when he saw one of Alan's chains dashing toward Zak.
He immediately protected all of them with a shield made exclusively of golden particles, and after a few seconds during which Alan's chains kept trying to break the shield, the spell suddenly vanished along with Alan.
Colin swore and immediately contacted Mykael, who was currently training with Erik and Nolan. Colin knew that Alan could only teleport to join Erik thanks to their bond, and if Alan had used that bond, allowing his spell to cause havoc here, it meant that something had surely happened to Erik.
Anxiety filled his heart, but when Mykael answered him, he finally sighed in relief and smiled before focusing again on his students.
...…..
Still in the Elemental World, in a vast plain, Mykael was training Erik and Nolan.
Right now, they weren't trying to use any of their abilities; they were just increasing their battle skills. Erik still needed to enhance his efficiency while wielding his axes, and Nolan was also improving his sword art thanks to Mykael's guidance.
Suddenly, Erik moved aside, and his eyes widened in shock. He put his hand on his stomach, where he had felt his baby moving. As Nolan was about to ask him what had happened, worried for the baby, Alan appeared right next to Erik, putting a shield of golden particles around them.
