Evangelina slumped on her bed has soon as she entered her room, tossing her bag to a corner. "O my, I'm starving". Evangelina murmured as she reluctantly stood and walked towards the kitchen. She saw a note on the fridge , which was written to her by her mum, telling her to heat the food kept in the fridge for her and her brothers. Few minutes later Evangelina was setting up the table when her brothers came in giving her their usual loud greeting as they ran to their rooms to change their clothes.

"How was school today sis". Sheng asked like a dutifully brother he was and Feng also looked at her waiting for a reply. "Well, it was okay , I guess" Evangelina answered as sne shrugged her shoulders. When Sheng noticed that the food was ready he pulled Feng along with him to freshen up a bit since they had a hectic football match in school today before joining their sister on the table.

After freshening up they joined their sister and enjoyed their meal while teasing and joking with eachother. After eating they cleared the table and washed their plates before going to their respective rooms to finish their school works.

Few minutes later Jiang Xilian returned home from her workplace, tired and worn out from the day activities in the just rising company that she joined. She sluggishly dragged her feet towards the stairs before heading to her room. "Welcome mum" Mei excitedly greeted her mum as she hugged her, "I'll go get your food, in the meantime quickly freshen up " she said as she went to the kitchen.

After a while Jiang Xilian came down stairs and saw her children watching a show on the TV, she smiled as her two sons greeted her and quickly resumed watching the TV. Jiang Xilian strode to the kitchen and ate her food.

 Few minutes later Xilian joined her children to watch the TV and watched as her adorable twins dozed of on the couch. It was almost 11pm when Mei noticed that her two naughty brothers had slept of in the living room. "Hey, don't sleep here". Evangelina said as she vigorously shook Sheng and Feng . "Aish, stop shaking me sis" 'Sheng said lightly before sleeping back, Feng didn't even budge a bit since he was a deep sleeper. " Evangelina leave them alone , let's just carry them to their room ", Jiang Xilian said as she moved to carry Sheng, leaving Feng to Evangelina was preferably lighter than Sheng. 'Why should I be carrying this big teenager' Evangelina complained in her mind as she struggled to lift Feng, who although was lighter but had completely relaxed his body in his sleep and was quite heavy for Evangelina petite stature.

 It took Evangelina 2 minutes to reach Feng's room which he shared with Sheng, "Oh, careful Mei " Jiang Xilian said as she opened the door wide for Evangelina to drop Feng on the other empty bed, she almost forgot that the boy would be quite heavy for her little daughter to carry since they were almost her size. Evangelina swiftly dropped Feng from her numb back that felt as if she had carried a boulder and gave him a glare as she put him to bed properly.

Evangelina went to her room after saying goodnight to her mother. She laid on her bed and recounted the series of event that happened in school today, her mind drifted to the terrifyingly handsome boy she first met in school, his strikingly dark orbs that could suck one's breath away, she remembered seeing speck of deep icy blue in his eyes which would be unnoticed to others if they didn't stare directly into his eyes, she wondered where he got that beautiful pair of eyes from. She often dreaded boys with good looks except her childhood friend , due to the stories she often heard from her badass bestie, Mu Qin Yue about how handsome boys usually break girls heart and play them before they eventually dump them. Evangelina knows not all men were scumbags like her dad and those heartless boys but prevention is better than cure, she'll rather stay away from any parasite that will suck her dry. But thinking about the boy who was sitting right behind her she had a different and weird feeling towards him, maybe because his beauty was on another level or because of his behaviour, she couldn't pinpoint the issue so she slept after thinking about Xander's face that was relatively close when he held her, occasionally.
