My Love Debts Are Everywhere!

Chapter 712: Killing the Hydra

Sitting on a boulder, Elina stared blankly into the distance, dazed.

"Lady Elina, would you like something to eat?"

Morgrim's voice came from the side. Elina turned her head and saw him holding two bowls of steaming soup filled with meat and vegetables.

She wanted to refuse, but guilt held her back. In the end, she accepted it and softly said, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Morgrim smiled as he sat down about a meter away from her. "So, why do you look so distracted, Lady Elina? Are you worried about the Fated One?"

Elina slowly nodded. "Yes, I'm worried about the young master."

Morgrim chewed his food thoughtfully before swallowing.

"Actually, I'm worried about him too. But I believe he'll be alright. He's strong, isn't he?"

Although they hadn't known each other long, Morgrim already had a strong impression of Leon.

To him, Leon was strong, decisive, and easy to talk to. More than that, he seemed invincible.

So, despite his concern, Morgrim felt confident Leon would be okay.

Elina felt a bit more at ease hearing those comforting words.

But deep down, the anxiety lingered—like a whisper in her heart, telling her she might never see Leon again.

Clutching her chest, eyes brimming with tears, she whispered, "Young master… Are you alright?"

***

"Hah... Hah... Hah..."

Floating in the sky, Leon panted heavily, his breath ragged and uneven.

His face was pale and worn with exhaustion. The robe he wore clung to his body, soaked by the seawater stirred up by his previous attack.

"Did I succeed?" he asked weakly.

Lowering his gaze, he searched for any sign of Hydra. Fortunately, the monstrous creature had completely vanished.

There were no traces of flesh or blood—as if the creature had never existed.

But that was to be expected. After all, Clock of Destiny, one of his three most powerful techniques, had been used.

It could sever a creature's past and future in an instant. Naturally, wielding it consumed a tremendous amount of holy power.

This time, however, he hadn't drawn on holy power—but chaos power instead.

While holy power and chaos power were fundamentally different, they shared certain similarities.

Some techniques originally fueled by holy power could, in fact, be converted to run on chaos power. That was a truth he had discovered during his independent research in the Elven territory long ago.

"Pfft!"

Suddenly, his stomach lurched. He quickly covered his mouth with his palm.

When he looked down, a fresh clot of red blood stained his hand.

*Badump!*

His heart pounded violently as sharp pain surged through his chest.

"Argh!" He groaned in agony, his body swaying—ready to fall into the sea at any moment.

*Whoosh!*

Leon's two Eyes of Chaos slowly faded. Strangely, however, the color of his eyes didn't return to their usual purple—but turned completely white.

From the corners of his eyes, red blood trickled down his cheeks, slid across his chin, and dripped into the air.

It was as if an invisible hand gripped his consciousness—and then, it vanished entirely.

His body dropped from the sky, crashing into the sea before slowly sinking into the dark depths.

The earlier battle between Leon and Hydra had drawn the attention of many sea monsters, circling from a distance.

And now, they rushed toward Leon's sinking body—drawn by the overwhelming and mysterious power radiating from within him.

Their primal instincts screamed, If we devour this man, we will evolve into something far stronger!

Yet before their jaws could close in—

*Whoosh!*

A sudden burst of light shot out from Leon's body—the Crystal Ball of Life, blazing with radiant energy.

Its brilliance struck fear into the bloodthirsty monsters. Terrified, they scattered in all directions, not daring to look back.

Then, the crystal ball enveloped Leon's body, and in the blink of an eye, he disappeared without a trace.

...

"Mommy, thank you for taking us for a walk!"

In the parlor, Fiona sat on the carpet, looking lovingly at Liliana.

She hugged her pink teddy bear tightly to her chest.

The dress she wore looked brand new, as if it had just been bought that day.

Beside her, Charlotte, Iris, and Stella also wore beautiful new dresses, no less lovely than Fiona's.

Each held their favorite items: Charlotte clutched two storybooks, Iris held four colorful hair ribbons, and Stella cradled a small set of clothes looms.

Charlotte and Iris looked up at Liliana with gentle eyes and echoed, "Thank you, Mommy!"

"Thank you, Aunt Liliana!" Stella added with a sweet smile.

Hearing their heartfelt gratitude, Liliana couldn't hold back her smile.

"You're welcome, my darlings," she replied softly, gently patting their heads one by one.

Warmth bloomed in her heart—like a flower slowly opening under the sun.

It had been over a week since Arshley left the inner palace, and during that time, Liliana had done her best to win back her children's hearts.

At first, she thought winning them back would be easy—but she soon realized how wrong she was.

The care and love Arshley had given them had created a deep bond, one not easily replaced.

Even so, Liliana felt both relieved and grateful.

She had once feared that Arshley might resent the children, knowing they were Leon's flesh and blood—especially since Arshley hadn't known the truth at the time.

Yet despite how busy she had been back then, her children were never truly alone.

They had someone who played with them, looked after them, and filled the space she couldn't.

They hadn't felt abandoned… or unloved.

However, it was still a challenge for Liliana. She had to work extra hard to win back their attention.

Fortunately, all her efforts had paid off—and now, the little girls were fully back in her arms.

"By the way, Mommy," Charlotte asked hesitantly, "don't you have a lot of work? We're not taking up your work time, are we?"

Liliana was momentarily taken aback, then smiled softly. She gently pinched Charlotte's cheek and said, "Thank you for worrying about me, but it's alright. As it happens, I'm free all week. So during that time, I'll be with all of you. How does that sound?"

Their round eyes lit up at her words. Raising their left hands high, they shouted excitedly, "Of course we would!"

"Good!" Liliana clapped her hands with a bright smile. "Now, go take your showers before dinner. I'll cook all your favorite dishes tonight."

"Yay!" Fiona jumped to her feet with a cheer. "I'll go first!"

With that, Fiona dashed off to her room, and the others quickly jumped up to follow.

Liliana watched their little figures vanish down the hallway, a warm smile spreading across her face.

"Alright, time to start cooking," she murmured softly as she rose to her feet.

But then, suddenly—

Badump!
