My Legacy, My Decree, My Will (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 30: 30: Villains vs Heroes [I]

All Might claps his hands, grabbing everyone's attention. "Alright, young heroes! Today, we're doing a special exercise—Villain vs. Hero Capture the Flag! The goal for the heroes is to steal the flag, which represents a bomb, from the villains.

Villains, your job is to defend it at all costs!"

The class buzzes with excitement. Aizawa steps forward, arms crossed. "I'll be announcing the teams. Each group will have two people, either as heroes or villains."

Aizawa starts calling the names:

"Team 1 Heroes: Izuku Midoriya and Tsuyu Asui.

Team 1 Villains: Katsuki Bakugo and Mina Ashido.

Team 2 Heroes: Tenya Iida and Ochaco Uraraka.

Team 2 Villains: Eijiro Kirishima and Fumikage Tokoyami."

Then, Aizawa pauses for a moment before continuing. "Team 3 Heroes: Aiden Wilhelm Fritz and Momo Yaoyorozu.

Team 3 Villains: Shoto Todoroki and Denki Kaminari."

The class murmurs, intrigued by the team compositions, especially curious about how Aiden will fare in his first big exercise. Aiden exchanges a glance with Momo, offering a confident nod, while Todoroki and Kaminari look determined to win.

"Remember," All Might adds, "this exercise is all about strategy, teamwork, and using your quirks wisely! Go beyond, Plus Ultra!"

...

Team 1: Izuku Midoriya and Tsuyu Asui vs Katsuki Bakugo and Mina Ashido

The setting chosen for the match was a meticulously designed, simulated suburban area. Complete with houses, narrow alleyways, tall fences, and parked vehicles, it provided a perfect battlefield for urban combat.

The bomb—or, in this case, the flag—was placed in an abandoned building at the heart of the suburban maze.

Smoke from a nearby chimney lazily curled into the sky as the heroes prepared to infiltrate the area, unaware of the villains' precise location.

The clock started. Team 1 had fifteen minutes to capture the flag or the villains would win.

---

Izuku, eyes sharp with focus, stood on the rooftop of one of the lower houses, surveying the surroundings. His costume shimmered under the simulated sunlight, the dark green and black blend of his hero suit giving him a tactical edge as he crouched low.

His mind raced through possibilities.

"Tsuyu," he said, glancing toward his partner below, who was perched on a lamppost like a frog ready to leap. "We need to play this smart. Bakugo won't hold back, and we don't know what kind of traps Mina might have set."

"Ribbit. We should focus on stealth for now," Tsuyu replied, her long tongue flicking out as she gauged the distance. "I can leap across the buildings and distract them. You can take advantage of that."

Izuku nodded, trusting her judgment. "If we can find the flag and get it out without too much of a fight, it's our best chance. I'll go in quietly while you draw their attention."

"Understood."

---

Inside the building where the flag was stored, Bakugo paced back and forth like a caged lion. His blond hair spiked in every direction, eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"Those extras better come at us with everything they've got," he growled.

His hero costume, which was equipped with his signature gauntlets capable of storing nitroglycerin for powerful blasts, clanked slightly as he clenched his fists.

Mina, leaning against the wall, grinned with excitement. "You really think they'll fall for any of this? Midoriya's smart. He'll probably try to sneak in rather than charge straight at us."

"Doesn't matter. I'm blowing him up, no matter how he tries it," Bakugo replied.

Mina shook her head. "Still, we should be ready. I've coated some of the surrounding buildings with my acid. If they touch the wrong wall, it'll give them a nasty surprise."

Bakugo grinned. "Good. Let them burn."

---

As Izuku and Tsuyu advanced, they split up. Tsuyu made the first move, her flexible body launching her from building to building with ease. She landed on a rooftop near the target, careful not to make a sound.

Izuku stayed behind, crouching in the shadow of a tall fence, waiting for his moment to move in.

Tsuyu's sharp eyes scanned the streets below, searching for movement. Then, she saw it—a flash of pink near one of the houses. It was Mina, spraying acid onto the side of a building. Tsuyu squinted.

That was it—the villain's trap. She tapped her earpiece, relaying the information.

"Midoriya, Mina's setting traps around the area with her acid. Watch the walls."

"Got it. I'll move in closer from the east side."

Izuku darted forward, careful to avoid the alleyways Mina had coated with acid. His heart pounded, but his mind was laser-focused. He had to out-think Bakugo and Mina, use their strengths against them.

---

In the observation room, the rest of Class 1-A watched the unfolding battle on large screens. Kirishima, leaning forward in his seat, couldn't contain his excitement.

"Man, this is going to be intense! Bakugo's not gonna go easy on Midoriya."

"Yeah, but Izuku's gotten a lot stronger," Denki chimed in. "I mean, have you seen how fast he's gotten with his full cowling?"

"Still, Tsuyu and Izuku will have to be careful," Momo added thoughtfully. "Mina's acid traps are unpredictable."

Sero chuckled. "They're definitely going to be feeling that if they mess up."

[Back to the test field]

As Izuku moved through the suburban maze, he saw the building where the flag was likely stored. It was a tall, grey structure with boarded-up windows. The perfect hiding spot for the villains.

His breath caught in his throat when he noticed a figure standing just outside the entrance—Bakugo.

Damn, Izuku thought. He's guarding the entrance. No way I can get past him without a fight.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the streets. Tsuyu had intentionally knocked over a stack of crates in the distance, drawing Bakugo's attention.

It worked—Bakugo's head snapped toward the sound, and without hesitation, he shot off in the direction of the noise, explosions propelling him forward.

"This is it," Izuku whispered, bolting toward the now unguarded building.

Tsuyu, meanwhile, kept Bakugo busy, hopping from one rooftop to the next as Bakugo's blasts chased her through the sky.

"Come back here, frog-face!" Bakugo roared, firing another explosion toward her, but Tsuyu easily dodged it with a well-timed leap.

"Ribbit. Catch me if you can, Bakugo."

---

Izuku made it to the building and cautiously stepped inside, careful to avoid any acid Mina might have laid down. His eyes scanned the dimly lit room.

There it was—the flag, standing tall in the center. But Mina was nowhere to be seen.

His instincts told him something was off.

He crept forward, moving as silently as possible. Just as his fingers were about to touch the flag, the ground beneath him gave way.

Mina had coated the floor with a thin layer of acid, weakening it. Izuku jumped back just in time, narrowly avoiding the pitfall.

"Nice try, Midoriya!" Mina called out, emerging from the shadows. Her hands glowed pink with acid as she prepared to attack.

Izuku quickly activated his Full Cowling, dodging her acid shots with lightning-fast movements.

He needed to take her down fast before Bakugo returned.

"Not bad, Midoriya!" Mina grinned, firing another stream of acid toward him. "But you'll have to do better than that!"

Izuku zigzagged through the room, using the walls and debris as cover. He had to think of a way to disable her without getting too close.

Meanwhile, Tsuyu was still keeping Bakugo busy. She knew she couldn't beat him head-on, but she didn't need to. Her goal was to stall him long enough for Izuku to secure the flag.

"Stop running, coward!" Bakugo yelled, firing another explosion at her. But Tsuyu was too quick, leaping from rooftop to rooftop with incredible agility.

"You're wasting your time, ribbit," she said, her voice calm despite the chaos around her. "Midoriya's probably got the flag by now."

"Like hell he does!" Bakugo roared, launching himself into the air and propelling toward her with a powerful blast.

---

Back inside the building, Izuku finally saw his opening. He darted toward Mina, dodging her acid attacks with precision.

Just as she was about to fire another shot, he used his enhanced speed to close the distance between them.

"Sorry, Mina!" he said, grabbing her wrist and pinning her to the ground. "But I need to end this."

Mina grinned despite her defeat. "Looks like you've gotten faster, Midoriya. But you haven't won yet."

Izuku glanced at the flag, but before he could make a move, a loud crash echoed from outside. Bakugo had returned.

Bakugo blasted through the front entrance, his eyes blazing with fury. "MIDORIYA!"

Izuku barely had time to react before Bakugo was on him, throwing a punch fueled by a powerful explosion.

Izuku dodged at the last second, but the force of the blast sent him tumbling backward.

"Bakugo, wait—"

"I don't want to hear it, you damn nerd!" Bakugo yelled, firing another explosion toward him. "You think you can just sneak past me and win? Think again!"

Izuku knew he couldn't take Bakugo head-on. Not in such close quarters. He needed to find a way to outmaneuver him.

Back in the observation room, the class watched in awe as the battle unfolded.

"Man, Bakugo's not holding back at all," Kirishima said, his eyes wide.

"Yeah, but look at Midoriya," Denki added. "He's dodging all of Bakugo's attacks like it's nothing!"

Momo

frowned. "He won't be able to keep that up for long. He needs to find a way to stop Bakugo, or this will end badly."

"Come on, Deku!" Uraraka cheered, her fists clenched in anticipation.

...

Izuku knew he had to end the fight quickly. He couldn't afford to keep dodging Bakugo's relentless attacks. Then, he saw his chance. Bakugo's next explosion sent a cloud of dust into the air, temporarily blinding him.

Izuku took a deep breath, activating One For All at full power. He dashed forward with blinding speed, aiming for the flag.

Bakugo saw him at the last second, but it was too late. Izuku grabbed the flag and leaped into the air, holding it high above his head.

"I got it!" he shouted, triumph in his voice.

The timer buzzed, signaling the end of the match. The heroes had won.

All Might's voice boomed through the speakers. "AND THE WINNER IS... TEAM HERO!"

The class erupted in applause, impressed by the teamwork and strategy displayed by both sides.

Bakugo scowled, his fists still clenched. "Tch. Next time, you're dead, Deku."

Mina shrugged, smiling despite her defeat. "Well, that was fun! Let's do it again sometime."

Izuku, panting but smiling, looked at his teammates. "We did it, Tsuyu. We won."

"Ribbit. Good work, Midoriya."
