My Idle System

Chapter 271: Time Together (1)

The next day came, and coming out of the bedroom was Christian, who looked clearly quite satisfied, along with Eva, who was practically glowing.

Unlike Eva, who had passed out in the end after their long love making session and ended up sleeping for a while, Christian had actually not even slept yet. After he had fucked Eva's brain out, he moved straight to his laptop and began recording the Infernal Spark technique he received from Olivia.

It was a fifth stage technique after all, the first one he had ever acquired, and so, it held a different meaning altogether.

Christian had still not finished recording it, but he could always delay that for later. In any case, he had already gone through the important and complicated parts!

Previously, he had been putting his hopes in the Liberation Front, as he had even obtained a fourth stage technique thanks to them. So, acquiring this fifth stage technique and breaking his previous record unexpectedly felt quite pleasant to him.

As he took a moment to relax, Christian settled on one of the sofas, his gaze drifting toward Eva, who seemed to have conveniently forgotten all about the previous night. Watching her, he couldn't help but think that maybe he should tease her a little.

She was calling for room service and asking them to bring breakfast, acting so casual and composed, while Christian pondered mischievously. But just then, the doors to the other rooms opened, and Olivia and Aria stepped out.

He turned to look at their expressions, and how they appeared sleep-deprived despite their strength, and in that moment, he became sure... they had definitely eavesdropped on them!

Christian, strangely enough, started to feel a bit of embarrassment. But in the end, he tried not to be too bothered by it. After all, two stressed girls who couldn't hold back their curiosity were now standing in front of him.

And so, he just cheerfully said, "Good morning."

They returned his greeting dryly, after which they also greeted Eva.

Like that, with not many words spoken and an awkward atmosphere settling over them, breakfast finally arrived.

When they sat at the table, Christian ate normally. Eva, on the other hand, lowered her head and only picked at her food, putting small bites in her mouth every now and then just for the appearance. She was already full… if not nearly bloated, from the late-night snack she'd had.

Aria tried not to let anything show on her face and also ate normally. But Olivia?

She would steal a glance at her mother every now and then. Because she couldn't help it… that her mother, the always elegant, the always proper, could become that wild? She didn't know.

She felt like she had gotten to know a side of her mother she shouldn't have, and that was exactly why she was so troubled.

Was sex really that pleasurable? Was the taste of "that" really that delicious?

Olivia, with a flushed face, wondered as she remembered the events of the previous night. More than once during that time, she told herself not to bother with what was going on in the other room and just sleep. But in the end, she would always find her senses drawn there.

To her mother, who was being stuffed by that filthy thing, and the loud, unrestrained screams of pleasure she made.

In the end, Olivia shook her head and tried to busy herself with the food in front of her.

But when her gaze landed on the yogurt parfait… when her eyes fell on its whiteness, she couldn't help but remember how that thing, something her mother had drunk whole pockets of, was also white. And so, she immediately moved her gaze away.

She felt that going forward, she would probably be unable to eat anything with the color white, at least for some time.

Christian, who naturally noticed all of Olivia's reactions, strangely wanted to laugh out loud. But in the end, he held himself back and just tried to concentrate on the meal. Because, after eating a few bites, he actually noticed something.

This meal could be said to be about the same level as the food he used to eat back at his house, made by his sister and Sophia… that means, it's delicious!

Tasty, but still holding a slightly different flavour than the home-cooked meal. Christian found himself genuinely impressed, and without even realizing it, he ended up eating more than usual.

Now, ever since he had reached the first mastery stage in the Core Creation System, Christian had already discovered something interesting… essence could, in fact, replace food entirely. He only needed to eat a very small amount now. And in the future, after becoming even stronger, even that small portion might not be necessary anymore.

But Christian was never someone who would let go of the small, ordinary pleasures in life so easily. He valued those things. He loved them. That's why, despite not needing it, he still insisted on having three proper meals a day. Not because his body needed it, but because his heart did.

That's why, as he sat there enjoying the meal, Christian suddenly found himself growing fond of this hotel, where he spent a "unique" night in.

And so, he moved his gaze toward Eva, who was now clearly aware that everything she had done yesterday had been heard, no, discovered by her daughter and her daughter's friend. She looked immensely ashamed, and Christian couldn't help but find her expression both adorable and pitiful at the same time.

He tapped on the table lightly, catching her attention before suddenly saying, "You know, I just had a thought."

"With the many kinds of businesses you're operating right now… how about we also buy a hotel? This one, for example?"

Eva would do anything that could generate income. She wasn't picky about the type of business. As long as it could lead to profit, she would find a way, and now, with Iris by her side, managing all the fine details, there wasn't really anything out of reach.
