MY HERO ACADEMIA: REBORN

Class 1-C was on the bus in full hero suits heading towards the training location they had for today's hero basic training class and once again they were put with class 1-A. 

Wow…this plot deity really wants me to be in the same place as the protagonist or something…

They were all on their way to do Rescue Training. 

Some were seating down on the bus seats but others had to stand up because there wasn't enough space for everyone. Apparently, they are the most famous school but can't afford to bring another bus for the other class and nobody wanted to seat next to strangers so class 1-A sat with each other and someone had already taken a seat next to Shoto. 

Taking notice of Yuki, Shoto was about to kick out his classmate from the seat but Yuki quickly made signals to stop doing that. He frowned but let Yuki go about his way. 

And Yuki was in the worst place now. 

Seating down on the floor between two rows of seats that faced each other. Deku was on his left side and the boy who calmed down all students during the school alarms, Iida, was on his right. 

"I think it's really cool!" Deku complimented a red hair quirk from his class. They were talking about each other's quirks and class 1-C awkwardly listened in between them. But Deku being Deku started to question them too. 

"Umm…" Deku hesitated, looking at someone who was seating on the bus floor. 

Don't stare at me that hard, just ask…

"W-what's your quirk? I m-m-mean, I know what it is—I mean I saw it in our class but what is it specifically?" Deku finally asked Yuki, also bringing the attention of others onto him. 

"Me? My quirk is 'Winter'. It's an emitter quirk and I can basically manipulate and create snow, ice, frost, and also control the temperature of the air which is usually just freezing cold." Yuki explained to the class with an awkward smile and shy nod to show that he was done explaining. 

"Cool!" A girl with pink skin said. 

"Is it the same as your bother's quirk?" Deku asked. 

"Not really. My brother can control ice but he isn't able to make it snow…"

"But didn't you control the weapon in the battle trial?" the red hair guy, Kirishima, asked. 

"O-oh, yeah. I have another quirk and it's Telekinesis, sort of. Which is self-explanatory…" Yuki felt a little intimidated by the number of eyes that were on him but not as much as to cry. 

"My Naval-Laser is pro-level in both flashiness and strength." a boy with blonde hair and long eyelashes said. Wearing some sort of knight costume. 

"But it's not great that it gives you a stomachache." The girl with pink skin, Mina, said. 

"Well. if you're talking about flashy and strong, it's gotta be Todoroki and Bakugou, though?" Kirishima said, praising both guys. 

Definitely, definitely. Shoto's way of using his quirk is something to brag about. Yuki thought as a brief smile appeared on his face. 

Everyone agree with that statement but Tsuyu added her own thoughts, or more like she was brave enough to talk for everyone else. 

"Bakugou's always mad, so he doesn't seem like he'll be popular, though." Tsuyu said with a deadpan face. This caught the attention of Bakugou. 

"What the hell! You wanna fight!" Bakugou said as he stood up in anger. 

"See?" She pointed at Bakugou who was proving her point.

A while after they finally arrived at the training ground. And right in front of the entrance they saw and were greeted by the famous rescue hero, Thirteen. 

"Ms. Thirteen.?!" Class 1-C screamed in unison. As their class had wondered why their teacher wasn't with them in today's class but only to find out that their teacher would be conducting their class. 

"Everyone, I have been waiting for you all!" Thirteen greeted the classes. 

"It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Deku fanboyed about the rescue hero. 

You really love heroes…Yuki thought as he glanced gently toward Deku. 

As the students continued to fan over Thirteen she guided them inside the building. 

Once they were inside, the students stared awed as they saw the different types of buildings that represented different accidents and disasters. Thirteen had also informed the students that this facility was made by her and called USJ, short for Unforeseen Simulation Joint. Exaggerating her moves as she showcased her great masterpiece. 

"Thirteen, where's All Might? He was supposed to meet us here" Mr. Shota asked Thirteen. 

As Yuki heard that, he started to look around noticing that All Might really wasn't around the class. 

"About that…It looks like he did too much hero work on his way to work and ran out of time, so he's resting on the lounge." Thirteen whispered the last sentence so nobody in the class could hear their conversation. 

"That's the height of irrationality." Eraser Head criticized All Might for a brief moment before proceeding to begin the class. 

"It can't be helped, shall we begin?" He said. 

"Everyone, I am sure you are aware of my quirk, Black Hole. I can suck up anything and turn it into dust." Thirteen explained her quirk to the classes. 

Ooh, I didn't know what your quirk was…sorry teacher…

"You've been able to use that quirk to save people from all kinds of disasters, right?" Deku asked excitedly while Uraraka nodded her head rapidly in agreement. 

"Yes, but it is a power that can kill easily." As she said this their excitement turned into seriousness. 

"Some of you also have quirks like that, right?" Thirteen said as she slightly glanced towards class 1-C. They all noticed this and the mood turned sour. 

"In a superhuman society personal Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated, so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance. However, please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step. With Aizawa's and my physical fitness test, you found out about the possibility of your own hidden powers, and with All Might's person-to-person combat training, I think you experienced the danger of using those powers against each other." 

This is totally aimed at Deku and Bakugou…

"This class is a fresh start. You shall learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You do not have the powers to harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have powers in order to help others." Thirteen said with a determined voice. Wanting to show the students of U.A. how important it is for a hero to protect their citizens and how they can use their Quirks to save those lives. 

It felt like a moment to clap but the impact of her speech had made it so that they stood there in awe. 

"That is all. Thank you for listening!" Thirteen did a theater bow. Finally letting the students clap. 

"That was wonderful!"

"Bravo! Bravo!" they all cheered. 

"All right then, first—" Eraser Head started to talk but was interrupted by all the lights in the training ground that had suddenly gone off. 

And right in the center of the building, the fountain started to act up before a black portal started to open, quickly catching the attention of Eraser Head. Just as he turned around to see the portal, a hand started to come out, then a face that had been covered by a hand. 

"Gather together and don't move!" Eraser Head announced to the class while the student stood there confused, as they haven't seen what had happened at the center. 

"Thirteen, protect all the students!" Eraser said to Thirteen. 

Hearing this Shoto got in front of Yuki and put him behind him. 

"What's that?" Kirishima said, getting the attention of the others students who went and followed his gaze. Seeing a suspicious-looking man coming out of a black portal. 

"Is it like the entrance exam where the lesson's already started?" Kirishima questioned. 

"It doesn't seem like it…" Naoko said who was unconsciously clinging to Rika. 

Deku was about to move before Eraser stopped him. 

"Don't move!" shocking the students and confusing them more. 

W-what? Let me see…

Yuki moved Shoto's shoulder slightly to see what was happening behind them and when he finally had a clear view he was something that he wasn't expecting to see. It was Tomura Shigaraki. The main villain of My Hero Academia. But he wasn't watching a show right now, he was living as a human being in this 'fictional' story and right now one of the most feared, or future feared villains, was standing in front of him. 

Tomura?! 

Yuki started to tremble slightly, holding onto the hem of Shoto's shirt to control his nerves. Not thinking that Shoto would notice as he hadn't turned around to see him but unknown to him, Bakugou stood beside him and had noticed him trembling. 

Eraser Head had put on his goggles and more villains started to come in. 

"Those are villains." 

They were all suddenly slapped to reality and they all started to tremble. 

"The trespassing of the other day was the work of these dirtbags after all, huh?" Eraser mocked the villains. 

A girl with light blue hair from class 1-C starts to concentrate on the Shigaraki as she had noticed him talking to himself. Then she gasped. 

"He's planning to kill students!" The girl shouted out to the teachers. 

This caused more panic among the classes. 

"Villains?! There's no way they could get into the school?" Kirishima said. 

"Teacher! What about the trespasser sensor?" Momo questioned to Thirteen in alertness. 

"We have them, of course, but…" Thirteen stopped, knowing that some villains had to infiltrate the system. 

"Did they only appear here or around the whole school? Either way, if the sensors are not responding, they have someone with a Quirk who can do that. An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here. They might be fools but they're not numb. This surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind." Shoto said with a stern tone, pulling Yuki closer to him as he was processing the situation. 

"T-to kill us?!" Rika shouted. 

"...I'm not sure…" the girl, Mizuki, who had heard what the main villain had said; restated her own sentence from before. 

"Thirteen, start the evacuation. Try calling the school." Eraser ordered Thirteen. 

"These villains had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering. Kaminari," He called out to one of his students. 

"You try contacting the school with your Quirk, too." Eraser ordered Kaminari. 

"But teacher, what about you? Will you fight by yourself? With that many, even if you can erase their Quirks…Eraser Head's fighting style is captured after erasing the enemy's Quirk. A frontal battle is—" Deku shouted out in panic, fearing the worst. 

"You can't be a hero with just one trick. I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen." Eraser said as he got ready to go into battle. 

He suddenly jumped off the long set of staircases while the villains were already preparing to fight him. Eraser Head ran straight toward them, holding his wrapping scarf with both hands, and just as the villains were about to attack he used his Erasure Quirk to erase their quirks, bewildering the villains who stood there in confusion. Eraser Head quickly used his wrapping scarf and trapped them and bumping them against each other. 

He would wrap someone with his scarf, launch them into the air, and will either throw them against the villain's comrades or kick, or punch them by himself. 

The classes started to run out toward the exit while Deku stood there watching Eraser Head in amazement. 

"Deku!" Yuki shouted at him, trying to get his attention before something would happen to him. 

"Deku?" Shoto questioned the nickname that Yuki had just shouted out. 

Uh…shit. 

Fortunately for Yuki, they didn't have time to just sit around and chit-chat. Iida shouted at Deku to start moving along. 

They all followed behind Thirteen but just as they were about to reach the entrance, another black portal appeared but this time it took the form of a creature. It was speaking to them. 

"I won't let you go." The dark voice said. 

"Nice to meet you. We are the League of Villians. It may be presumptuous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of the heroes, U.A. High School, in order to have All Might, the Symbol of Peace, take his last breath." The creature said. 

Well…at least it's honest. 

This shocked the students to their core. Especially Deku. 

"I believe All Might should have been here. Has there been some kind of change?" the creature continued while some students were already on the defense to protect themselves. 

As the black creature was about to attack, Thirteen got ready to use her Quirk on him but before she could do so, Bakugou and Kirishima attack him. Creating a big explosion. 

"Dumbasses!" Shoto screamed out. 

The boys seemed proud of their work, thinking that they had stopped the villains. The smoke surrounding them made it seem like it was a success but the black figure emerged once again. 

"Oh dear, that's dangerous." Bakuogu and Kirishima widen their eyes. 

"That's right. Even if you are a student, you are excellent golden eggs." the black figure seemed to snicker at them. 

"Move away you two!" Thirteen shouted at the boys in front of her. 

Suddenly the black figure spread out and indulged them in darkness. A strong wind was pulling them while some students closed their eyes and shouted out in confusion. Iida quickly swept Uraraka, Sato, Elena, and Hajime out of the black mass, and they saw a big black sphere that was surrounding their classmates. Inside that sphere, Shoto grabbed Yuki and sat him on the ground with him, hoping that nothing would happen. 

Black portals started to appear around the training ground, spreading all the students into different simulation zones. 

Yuki and Shoto were falling as they got out of a portal. Shoto wrapped Yuki in his arms and tried to find somewhere they could land safely. Quickly finding a soft spot to fall on. 

"Ow! Ow!" Yuki winced in pain. 

"Yuki, are you okay?" Shoto checked Yuki's body for any injury. 

"Yeah but that landing was…" Yuki said as he stood up with wobbly legs, feeling nausea. 

"I feel like I'm gonna vomit…" Yuki made an unpleasant face. 

"Don't. It looks like we've landed on the Landslide zone." Shoto looked around as he soothed Yuki's back, as he was already vomiting. This went on for another two minutes while Shoto was on the lookout for any villains but also trying to see if any other of his classmates were around. 

"Blech…sorry, Shoto." Yuki coughed up a few times before wiping his mouth in disgust. 

"It's okay, hurry and get up on my back." Shoto crouched down to let Yuki get on his back. 

"...why?" Yuki gave him a judgy glance. 

"Your legs are all shaking and you are throwing up like crazy. So get on." Shoto glared at Yuki with the last statement. 

"...Fine." Yuki sighed in defeat, getting on his back. 

"Grab tight but don't choke me like you did when we were 11." Shoto said as he started to walk with Yuki on his back. 

"It's not my fault that a crazy psycho put a toy snake in my face!" Yuki hit Shoto's back in annoyance. Before putting his cheek against his back in exhaustion. 

Why are we even fighting? 

As they walked around they saw a group of villains around the corner. So Shoto hid behind a rock to see what they were doing. Seeing that the villains were actually fighting each other. 

"Huh? Why are they fighting…" Yuki asked rhetorically. 

"Look closer." Shoto pointed at some faint strings that were attached to the villain's bodies. 

"They seem to be controlled by someone. But that person is nowhere to be found." 

"Strings?...Ah! It's Wada! She's my classmate, look she's in between the villains." Yuki pointed out to a girl with pink braids that was petting a bunny doll. 

Shoto asserted the situation and stomped his feet on the ground. Ice crawled toward the villains and froze them in place. He made sure to not freeze Yuki's classmate. 

"W-what?" 

"Let us go!" The villains shouted as Shoto and Yuki came out from behind the rock. 

"Wada! Are you alright?" Yuki asked the girl who now stood beside them, she only gave him a nod of affirmation. 

Shoto walked through the villains who were frozen in place, not caring about them. 

"Th-this guy…h-how did he?" one villain said in fear. 

"Is he really a kid?" another commented. 

The villains whined in pain while others couldn't believe the power of this kid. 

Yuki glanced at the villains who were trapped, feeling a tiny bit bad about them. He thought about asking Shoto to at least unfreeze the ice on their face but it seemed like he was deep in his thoughts, so Yuki didn't bother. 

Two villains suddenly came out shielding a knife and a spear. One in front of him and another one behind him. 

Shoto reacted rapidly. He first stomped the ground to freeze the guy in front of him then he grabbed the spear from the villain behind him, freezing the spear along the villain. Yuki looked behind him to see if Wada was alright, seeing that the girl seemed unbothered by the whole situation and was still caressing her bunny doll. 

"It seems like they're just a bunch of thugs," Shoto said. 

"True. They don't seem to know how to use their quirks, maybe they're just basic criminals?" Yuki said. 

"Hmm," Shoto responded. He was in his own thoughts before speaking up once again. 

"Hey, at this rate you will die. The cells in your will slowly freeze…leading to your death." Shoto said in an unconcerned tone. 

"S-shoto—" Yuki was interrupted by Shoto's hand. Gesturing at him to stop talking. Yuki bit his lip and frowned, turning around to not look at the villains who were trembling from the cold but also fearing that they were going to die. 

"I want to be a hero. So I would like to avoid something so cruel if possible." Shoto said as he walked towards the villain in front of him. 

Yuki was still on his back so he unintentionally looked at what he was doing. 

Shoto had his right hand in front of the villain's face, emitting cold air as the villain was already tearing up. 

"On what basis do you think you can kill All Might? What's your plan?" Shoto was ready to freeze the guy to death. 

"Umm…" Yuki started to talk before once again being stopped by Shoto. 

Poor guy…Yuki thought as he glanced at the villain's face.
