My Hero Academia: Complete Victory

Chapter 13: Kuro Means Black.

I'll explain what his name means, it's super edgy.

The evening at the Bakugo household had been filled with laughter, games, and a hearty meal prepared by Mitsuki. As the night progressed, the doorbell rang, and Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya, arrived to check in on her son and join the festivities.

Inko was greeted warmly, and the small gathering turned into a full-blown celebration as the two families reminisced and shared their hopes for the future.

For a brief moment, the weight of the upcoming U.A. entrance results was forgotten, replaced by the comfort of family and friends. But as the night came to an end, and the Midoriyas returned home, the excitement of what was to come lingered in the air.

A week had passed since that night, and Kuro was back to his rigorous training. The sense of camaraderie from the Bakugo household had been heartwarming, but now it was time to focus on his own goals.

While Kuro's physical abilities were already formidable, he knew they could be pushed further. His "Base" form allowed him to fight indefinitely, but he wanted something more—a form that could channel his "Ki" into a concentrated, more powerful boost.

Kuro was in the middle of his thoughts when the doorbell rang. He paused, surprised by the interruption. It wasn't often that he received visitors. He opened the door to find a small box on his doorstep, with no indication of who had left it there. Intrigued, Kuro brought the box inside and carefully opened it.

Inside was a flat, circular object with a button in the center. Kuro's curiosity piqued, and he pressed the button without hesitation. A hologram of All Might immediately sprang to life, larger than life, and brimming with enthusiasm.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" the hologram of All Might boomed, his voice full of pride and energy. "You, Kurokami Tenshin, have officially passed the U.A. entrance exam! Welcome to the next step on your journey to becoming a hero!"

Kuro listened to the rest of the message, a smile spreading across his face. But once the hologram finished, Kuro's smile faded slightly. He wasn't one to dwell on accolades; there was always more work to be done. Without hesitation, he destroyed the object, satisfied with the knowledge that he had passed.

He glanced around his small, somewhat dilapidated house. It was a place filled with memories, some of them fond, others tinged with loneliness. Kuro shook off the thoughts before they could take hold. There was no time to get sentimental—he had the training to do.

Kuro left his house and made his way through the worn streets of his neighborhood. The area was rough, far from the glitz and glamour of the more affluent parts of the city. But Kuro had found a hidden gem nearby—a large strip of land that had been turned into a public forest. It was peaceful, secluded, and the perfect place for training.

He walked deeper into the forest until he reached a cave, a place he had come to use as his personal training ground. It was here that Kuro practiced controlling his "Ki," learning how to focus it for maximum effect.

Today, he was working on a new technique—one that involved concentrating his "Ki" entirely into one part of his body, rather than spreading it evenly across his form. The idea was to enhance a single strike, increasing its impact exponentially.

Kuro stood in front of a large rock wall inside the cave, his light purple aura flickering around him. He focused, drawing the energy from across his body and channeling it into his right arm. The light purple aura intensified around his fist, deepening in color as the power condensed.

With a sharp breath, Kuro punched the rock wall. The impact was immense, the wall cracking and crumbling under the force. But Kuro wasn't satisfied. The time it took to prepare the punch had been too long—if he wanted this technique to be effective in battle, he needed to be able to execute it in a split second.

"Just need to increase how fast I can condense my Ki," Kuro muttered to himself, determination blazing in his eyes. He got back into position and prepared to repeat the process. This wasn't going to be easy, but Kuro was never one to shy away from hard work.

Meanwhile, in another part of town, Tenya Iida was in his room, surrounded by books and study materials. Though he had done well in the practical exam, he had struggled with the written portion, and now he was determined to prepare as much as possible for UA's rigorous coursework.

As Iida poured over his notes, the door to his room creaked open, and his older brother, Tensei Iida, known to the world as the hero Ingenium, quietly stepped inside. Tensei tried to sneak up on his brother, but Tenya, ever vigilant, sighed without looking up from his book.

"I heard you come in, Tensei-nii," Tenya said, his voice tinged with amusement.

Tensei mimicked his brother's sigh, though he was exaggerated for comedic effect. "You're too sharp for your good, Tenya. You should be excited! You've probably passed the exam, and yet here you are, studying like there's no tomorrow."

Tenya's serious expression softened slightly as he looked up at his brother. "I am excited, Tensei-nii, but I need to be prepared. U.A. is the best hero school in Japan. I can't afford to slack off."

Tensei smiled, proud of his brother's dedication, but he still wished Tenya would allow himself to enjoy the moment. "Well, I'll leave you to it. Good luck," Tensei said as he turned to leave the room.

After his brother left, Tanya noticed a small package that had been placed on his desk. Curiosity piqued, he carefully opened it, revealing a circular object similar to the one Kuro had received. With a deep breath, Tenya pressed the button, and a hologram of All Might appeared before him.

"CONGRATULATIONS, TENYA IIDA!" All Might's voice echoed in the room, as vibrant and energetic as ever. "You've passed the U.A. entrance exam! Get ready to push your limits and become the hero you were always meant to be!"

A wide grin spread across Tenya's face, and as soon as the message ended, he bolted out of his room to share the news with his brother. Tensei, who had been waiting nervously just outside, was already reaching for the door when Tenya burst through it.

"I passed, Tensei-nii! I'm going to U.A.!" Tenya exclaimed, his excitement breaking through his usual stoic demeanor.

Tensei's face lit up with pride and joy. "I knew you could do it, Tenya! U.A. is lucky to have you. Let's go tell our parents—they'll be thrilled!"

In their respective homes, Bakugo and Izuku also received their acceptance letters.

Bakugo, ever the confident one, opened his letter with little fanfare. The hologram of All Might congratulate him, but Bakugo barely registered it. He had expected to pass—anything less would have been unacceptable.

Tossing the circular object aside, he immediately headed out to train. There was no time to rest on his laurels, not when Deku and Kuro were out there, also aiming to be the best. Falling behind wasn't an option.

Meanwhile, at the Midoriya household, the atmosphere was quite different. When Izuku received his letter, his hands trembled as he carefully opened the package.

The moment All Might's hologram appeared and congratulated him, tears welled up in Izuku's eyes. By the time the message was over, he was sobbing uncontrollably, overwhelmed by the reality that he, a boy who had once been quirkless, had made it into the U.A.

Inko Midoriya, seeing her son's tears, rushed over to him, her own eyes brimming with emotion. She wrapped him in a tight hug, whispering words of encouragement and pride. Izuku clung to his mother, unable to stop the flow of tears.

This moment—this validation—was something he had dreamed of for years. To finally have it in his grasp was almost too much to bear.

"I did it, Mom... I really did it..." Izuku choked out between sobs.

Inko nodded, her voice thick with emotion. "Yes, you did, Izuku. You're going to be an amazing hero. I'm so proud of you."

[Auther: Yo. You can see how this chapter focused on Kuro more, and I gave Bakugo less detail than Izuku, why? Because I don't hate Izuku, I dislike him and his ending, but his character is mostly liked by me.

1. I plan on making the ending either sad or happy for everyone.
