My Garbage Collecting Cheat-Skill in Survival Game

Chapter 21: Chapter 21 "Rogue Le Sol"

Leaving the place, Ray decided to challenge the next mini-game. Soon the truck was headed to the next destination, 'Rogue Le Sol'.

An hour after him leaving, another vehicle entered the underground parking, stopping at the gore scene of dozens of people who were killed mercilessly, and just beside it was the headless corpse of one of the third-level commanders.

"When we received the distress call, I thought it would be a confrontation against those Falcon bastards." The man had a heavy build and the face of a gangster; he spoke while checking the lifeless body of those dead men, he was one of the third commander of the Raven guild.

It was another team from the Raven guild who was nearby and came upon receiving the distress signal from the bald man just before his death.

"This isn't the work of Falcon's; there must be someone who killed them and stole all the vehicles. We need to find them ASAP," spoke the woman, who was a second-level commander in the Raven guild.

"Their death will be an example for the world. Find traces of the cars soon, or we'll have to explain it to the leader."

Then they all set out after burning the corpses, leaving the whole area in black smoke.

If Ray hadn't left the underground parking after his mood was ruined, he would have ended up meeting another group of the Raven guild who had a professional among them.

Professionals are magic and super ability users, including the players.

Meanwhile, Ray stopped his arsenal truck just outside of the safe zone, attracting lots of attention from other players.

Many of them were vigilant because of the rumors of NPCs killing players, while some of them were in shock.

"Isn't that the same thing which was mentioned in the forum?" someone asked.

"Now that you have said it, I did read about the armored truck roaming in the streets, but it didn't attack anyone and just passed through them! Is it the same?" Another nodded.

"Look, someone updated this just minutes ago; check the forum."

[Armored Vehicle sales, soon to be available for players. Wait for the updates…]

At the same time, Tusk and the group began their work to create the hype of the armored vehicle. Oblivious to this, Ray left the truck in the open and entered the safe zone.

Soon the hype began so much that even the beta testers, the players who were either part of NPC guilds or those who had established their own guild, they all were alerted about the sale of the armored vehicle.

However, the hype wasn't just about the vehicles. There were many who were more interested in Ray and his skills.

Looking at the portal, Ray saw the entrance was empty, but there were people waiting outside the portal, waiting for their chance.

As he moved closer, the notification popped up.

[Rogue Le Sol: Blood or Bullets]

[Condition: Team (random) (Lvl 6)]

The condition of the game was unique, as was its name. 'Rogue Le Sol, it seems, means either I'll kill or be killed.'

Ray thought, then moved closer to the portal.

[Register for the mini-game: Rogue Le Sol]

[Solo/Team (random)]

Once Ray finished his registration, he had to wait for 4 hours for his chance, and like others, he also waited beside the portal.

Every player had been given a specific time, and they could only enter when it's their turn. Ray sat beside a group of three who were chatting, but upon seeing him, they invited him to join them.

"You must be in the same group as us. What is your given time?" one of them asked.

Ray, in his deep voice, behind his onyx mask, spoke, "Four hours from now, such a long wait." He sighed in the end.

If he could end this sooner, then Ray could have challenged the next one sooner and earned more before the end of the week.

"Why's the wait so long?" Ray asked, his deep voice muffled by his onyx mask, as he sat with the group. "This isn't the case for other mini-games."

The person in the middle pointed towards five figures emerging from the portal. "Those five are the winners of this mini-game. The other five must have died and respawned at the last safe zone of the mini-game they challenged."

"You must know this rule, right? That dying in the game means respawning at the last saved location where you challenged your last mini-game," he continued, looking at Ray.

Ray nodded. "What type of challenge is it this time? Don't tell me it's PvP?" he asked.

"You guessed it right," one person beside him said. "It's PvP, and as you read in the notification, the team will be random. That means we might be on rival teams, and if that happens, I'll burn you all to a crisp!" He laughed.

The third guy mocked back, "Even before your fireballs can touch me, my spear will be plunged into your heart."

Ray could see a spark of rivalry between the two; they were openly threatening to kill each other. Just like that, the four hours passed, and all ten players began entering the portal.

[Rogue Le Sol: Blood or Bullets]

[Team Death Match]

[Team selection in process…(random)]
