Chapter 61: Chapter 61
The lane to the HR room has a line queue. After the secretary position went vacant, Harrison requested to open a hiring immediately.
"Next!"
The middle-aged woman went inside. She has a slight grey hair, but still has a younger look. A breadwinner who hopes she will be hired.
"Tell me about yourself."
She swallowed and cleared her throat. What an implication of nervousness. The interviewer might see this, better if she acts confident.
"I am Jessica Quan, from the slums of Tondo, Manila. A breadwinner, have 2 nieces that are taking college. I am eager for this job because I love managing documents."
"Do you have a working experience?"
"Uhhm... No. This will be my first time."
"Okay. Well, we will call you. Thank you for coming."
The woman sadly left. The system hasn't changed, the company always looks for experience. It's so hard to find a job that has no major requirements.
She wiped her tears and ran to the comfort room. The rejection impacted her.
A trans is watching her. She stopped when their eyes met, then immediately left.
"Hhmm... I need to get ready. The interviewer is so strict. I don't have any work experience yet, but I can show them my fake profile. I don't want to introduce my true self yet, or else my plan will fail." Hale talking himself in the mirror.
He also leaves the comfort room to go to the line. How lucky of him he is 3rd on the line. Earlier, that was so long. Maybe the people applying are not really qualified and need reconsideration.
"Next!"
He deeply sighed and showed confidence. He greeted and smiled.
"Why should we hire you?"
What a trap question. He didn't prepare this. He thought he would introduce himself first.
"I am open to being trained through this job. I believe that I have skills to work on and I can improve it with the help of my co-workers and the administration. When it comes to competency, I think I am fit for the position. I worked before as an assistant, and I realized that the secretarial field is not easy. But I managed it through effective organization of tasks."
"Very well said. Well, you have a nice resumé plus the portfolio is so impressive. I will refer you now to our CEO for your final interview. Thank you."
He bid goodbye and proceeded to the elevator. A wide smile was on his face. Mission accomplished! But before he goes to the office, he will change his clothes first.
Harrison will be surprised by this. He will not look for another secretary once he sees Hale's new look.
Meet Violeta Villa, wearing lingerie but still with the blesser coat, but the breasts are explicitly shown.
"Miss Violeta Villa, you may now come in," Harrison called using a mini microphone.
Hale walked gracefully while spraying his body with a sensational perfume that may attract some men.
Their eyes met and Harrison swallowed twice with bugged eyes then bit his lips. The length of his down there kicked against the underwear, but he controlled himself to show professionalism.
Harrison fixed himself, he moved his necktie a little bit then went back to his composure. While checking the resumé and portfolio of Violeta, he keeps smiling and is quite impressed. He nods every time he reads every page of the physical document.
"So, Ms. Villa, your resume is impressive. Extensive experience, excellent references..." He trailed off, his eyes drawn back to her.
Violeta smiled, a subtle curve of her lips. "Thank you, Mr. Harrison. I'm confident I have the skills and dedication to excel in this position."
Harrison found himself oddly flustered. He couldn't quite articulate what it was about her, but he felt a pull, an undeniable attraction. He noticed the way her eyes held his, a spark of intelligence and something else he couldn't quite place.
"Tell me," he began, trying to steer the conversation back to professional territory, "what do you consider your greatest strength?"
Violeta paused for a moment, her gaze unwavering. "Adaptability," she replied. "I thrive in dynamic environments and I'm a fast learner."
Harrison leaned forward, intrigued. "And your greatest weakness?" he asked, a playful glint in his eyes.
A slight smile played on Violeta's lips. "I can be a bit of a perfectionist and sometimes pessimistic. But don't worry, I am working on it and can manage so far.," she admitted.
The interview continued, but Harrison found it increasingly difficult to focus on the details of her qualifications. He was captivated by her presence, the way she moved, the subtle inflections in her voice.
"Uhhmm... You're hired! You can start tomorrow morning. Please come at 7 am sharp, don't be late. Okay?"
"Yes, Sir."
Hale was going to leave when he was called.
"V-Violeta, I know it is quite uncomfortable if I am attracted to you. Would you mind if I invited you for a night date? I am intrigued by your personality, something that we are connected to. The first time I saw it my heart beat and my mind said you will be mine."
Hale looked back and responded. "If that would feed your needs, Sir... Uhhmm I accept the invitation. There is no malice for being attracted to me coz I am beautiful, right?"
Harrison swallows again, "Yes, you are right. You are like an angel from above then went down here to save the company."
"Such a flowery words, Sir. The bees will bite me to that. Sorry to say this, but I think you are trying to hit me."
"No, just wanted you to be close to me. Ya know, I am a friendly person."
"I see. Well, I have to go."
"See you later."
Harrison waved after bidding goodbye. He smiled and touched his chest. His heart really beats faster and it is going to explode.
"Oh Violeta, you are so hot. I hope I can explore you further, not only on your impressive resumé but also your body hhmm..."
---
Hours later...
Harrison is already in the private restaurant. He is wearing his classy tuxedo and new shoes. He checked his watch while waiting for Violeta to arrive.
And here is it, his wait is over. The presence of Violeta is so magical. While watching her walking, his sweat began to form on his chest and forehead. His hands are tempted to touch her but he keeps controlling himself.
"Nice to meet you, Violeta." He kissed the right hand of Violeta after giving her a seat. "Thank you for accepting my invitation."
Hale is speechless. The kiss impacted his glands. His heart eventually beat like a drum and he felt lust.
There is no conversation, they are just staring at each other, something like their eyes are communicating. While eating, Hale intentionally eats the saucy spaghetti without licking the sauce left on his lip.
Harrison saw the remains on Violeta's lips. He put his right thumb on it then wiped the sauce, and taste it. Through this, he turned on and the length of him hardened.
"Is it okay to kiss you? I think I am falling in love with you." Harrison didn't hesitate to express his hidden feelings.
Hale expected this to happen. He missed Xander so much, that he is longing for his touch. He is hopeful now since Harrison likes him now.
He nodded and bit his finger, seducing Harrison more. The man went near to him and pulled his hands.
"I paid for a room for us. I wanna explore you more. Promise, we will keep this in secret. I will triple your salary."
Hale was shocked, what a revelation. Harrison is more naughtier than Xander. But it doesn't make a difference, the important is he got the trust of him.
At the moment his lips brushed hers, Violeta's eyes flickered open. A vivid image flashed through her mind: Xander, his face close to hers, their lips locked in a passionate embrace. The memory was so intense, so real, that it momentarily disoriented her. But then, as quickly as Xander appeared, another image surfaced: Harrison, visiting her—Hale—in jail, his expression a mixture of concern and something else she couldn't quite decipher.
The conflicting images, the stark contrast between the two men and the situations, caused Violeta to pull back sharply. She blinked, her breath coming in short gasps.
Harrison, confused and slightly hurt, drew back. "Violeta? What's wrong?"
Tears welled in Violeta's eyes. She shook her head, unable to explain the turmoil within her. "I... I'm so sorry," she stammered, her voice trembling. Without another word, she turned and fled, leaving Harrison standing alone, utterly bewildered.
