After speaking to Leo and Liza, I confided in the others around the dinner table.

Claire made her declaration then, and Sebastian rejected it immediately.

As Sebastian had been shaking his head with exasperation earlier, he must have been expecting her to say something like this.

It reminded me of how she declared she would go to the forest before.
