My Accidental Stepmom

An ambulance can be heard in the background and a sound of a stretcher being pushed into the hospital with the nurses shouting urgently to move out of the way.

Roxanne laid on the stretcher that was pushed towards the direction of the emergency room, tightly holding Leah's hand she said as she whimpered in pain

Please don't leave me,am scared '

I won't leave until you are safe, okay ' Leah replied.

As they reached the door to the emergency room,the attending nurses forbade Leah from going any further, so she waited outside.

Leah stood in front of the emergency room looking anxious and confused, anxious for the girl who is inside currently under going surgery and confused about why she is anxious about the girl she just met. A melodious ringtone was heard from the back pocket of her skirt, which broke her train of thoughts. She looked down on her blood stained hands and decided to go to the restroom.

In the restroom,Leah answered the call and out it on loud speaker, as she stood before the mirror in the restroom to wash her hands,

Second miss, l looked into the teenager you saved ', her assistant, Mick, said.

Good job, continue ', Leah said.

Her name is Roxanne Kim, she is fifteen years old , and is the adopted daughter of the business tycoon ',Mick said.

Which one?', Leah asked as she took a napkin to clean her dainty fingers.

To Leah , her brother is only business tycoon that she knows that is why she asked that question.

Umm, it's...', Mick hesitated.

But Leah was silent, she didn't rush him because she knew he has a reason for hesitating ,

Leah froze , her long eyelashes blinked rapidly as she was trying to compose herself.

She picked up the phone and placed it on her ear as she leaned on the counter, while using her free hand to tuck her stray strand behind her other ear.

After the call, Leah turned to look at herself in the mirror saying,

She picked her phone that she placed on the counter after the call , then left the restroom. Immediately she stepped out , nurses where running around in panic , worried, Leah grabbed a nurse's arm and asked,

The patient in the ER, has suffered heavy

blood loss and is need of blood transfusion

but her blood type is very rare, we don't have

it',the nurse replied anxiously.

What is her blood type?', Leah asked.

AB negative', the nurse replied.

Leah who was about to call her twin sister, to ask if she has any blood in her research hospital froze, a surprise look flashed on her face,

What did you say?',she asked the nurse.

She is AB negative',the nurse said.

If she is AB negative , which means she is not Adriana's daughter, what exactly are the hiding from me. Leah was confused about this matter but decided to put it aside for later.

I am AB negative, I can donate my blood

right?', Leah asked.

The nurse who was beginning to get impatient looked at Leah as if she is her guardian angel, and shouted to her colleague who was passionate by,

Hurry,we have a donor',

Everything happened in a flash, the practically pushed Leah into the donor's room afraid that she would change her mind. They were scared of one thing that was Roxanne dieing in their hospital, for her father is one of their major shareholders and no one wants to die. With the the blood in the bags , they rushed to the ER.

Leah came out from the room, looking weak and pale, she could have rested but she didn't want to stay in the hospital, she hated hospitals and she wasn't ready to meet Lucian,so, with determination she walked toward the hospital entrance.

Before she could reach, suddenly, she slipped and fell,as the floor was getting closer she felt someone hold her hand. There was no need for Leah to turn to know who that was because she knew that it's her twin sister, Lena.

How did you get yourself in this mess' Lena , a red haired like her younger sister,she looks identical to Leah but the only difference was the the black mole at the side of her right eye. She wore a black suit and a pair of black boots and her hair was packed in a bun, she is the chairman of her research hospital and ess in a meeting when she got the news that her sister is in the hospital.

How long have you known?', Leah asked as she was helped up by her older sister.

Remembering little Anna, her cousin, Raquel's daughter, a smile formed on her pale face.
