Chapter 85: Chapter 85: Dear Players, Your Takeout Has Arrived [Please Follow]

“I don’t know what’s up with the system, suddenly releasing a bunch of freaks like these.”

After cursing Rabbit for a bit, someone immediately brought the conversation back, “The King of Goblins has transformed into a level 1 Catastrophe Level monster? What kind of level is that? Does anyone know?”

“Not sure, all the foreign websites are blocked now. If you’re not a local player, you can’t even log in. Information is tightly sealed. A Catastrophe Level monster, I’ve really never heard of it.”

“Speaking of which, that thing is genuinely terrifying. Eighty meters tall, and when it sprints, things like big trees and stones get kicked into dust, just like a damn humanoid land-based aircraft carrier.”

“The Rabbits were so scared they scattered in all directions, and now it’s chasing the Rabbit’s BOSS.”

“Funny thing, the Rabbit’s BOSS is a support type, and it suicidally provoked a Catastrophe Level monster, hahaha… Just thinking about that scene is killing me with laughter, do you think its brain has gone funny?”

...

“Enough chat, going into the game to watch that jerk get chased down!”

“Let’s go, I’m in too!”

“Gone, off to watch the fun, hahaha…”

“It’s fine to watch, but I don’t recommend getting too close; that black rabbit is such a pain, it’ll draw the Catastrophe Level monster to you. Don’t ask me how I know? Because it got me killed! I dropped a level, lost two pieces of equipment, and now I can’t log in for a whole damn day, I’m so pissed!”

“To the one above, condolence…”

So, loads of players began to log into the game and then hurried back to Vermilion Bird City.

With the lesson learned beforehand, nobody dared to head to Swordsman Forest to spectate; instead, they ran to the eastern side of Vermilion Bird City and stood by the moat to watch the spectacle. As soon as they sensed something off, they would run into the city for safety.

Vermilion Bird City is an absolute safe zone, which one could tell by looking at the guards at the gate wearing full-body armor that radiated silver light, and the huge cannons, heavy crossbows, and mages emitting terrifying magical fluctuations on the city walls.

From a distance, they indeed saw a massive creature wreaking havoc in the forest, swinging a giant Wolf Fang Club as if swatting flies, chasing a black robe that fluttered and scampered in the surge, looking utterly bedraggled.

“Is that the boss behind the Rabbits? Gee, it’s really getting chased hard, hahaha…” Yue Wei arrived first and was delighted to see the black rabbit in trouble as he dashed to the moat’s edge.

Iron-Blood was there too; he had suffered enough because of the black rabbit, and his hatred for it was greater than anyone else’s. He joined Yue Wei in shouting, “Little bunny, stop running, give up resisting and just die! Hahaha…”

Yue Wei followed up, shouting, “Big guy, put in some more effort and finish him off!”

Yu Qing also arrived, “Come on, come on! Go Goblins!”

Congxue was there too, recalling her own experience of being tormented by the rabbits, and seeing the pitiful state of the rabbit being chased, she was extremely excited and waved her little hands shouting, “Finish him, finish him! Oh, just a little more, come on finish him off!”

The players all jeered, waving their arms, shouting encouragements.

As time passed, more and more players gathered on the eastern side by the Vermilion Bird City’s moat.

However, remembering the caution not to get too close to Swordsman Forest, everyone tried to stay as close as possible to the drawbridge for an easy retreat.

But as more and more players arrived, the city gate entrance became increasingly congested. Eventually, the players in front couldn’t move, and those behind were stuck on the bridge or inside the gate, even jammed inside the city unable to leave.

They had run all this way to watch the spectacle, only to find themselves unable to leave.

Suddenly, someone’s patience snapped, and they began desperately pushing forward, causing the crowd to be involuntarily shoved forward in a crush…

Yue Wei saw this and couldn’t help pulling Iron-Blood aside, “Dude, doesn’t this situation look a bit familiar? I have a bad feeling about this.”

Iron-Blood laughed, “Stop jinxing it, I almost got beaten up because of my bad mouth.

Worry not, where are we?

This is Vermilion Bird City!

Within a two hundred meter radius from the front of Vermilion Bird City Gate is all within the safe zone. Till today, no Goblin dares to step out of the forest into this domain.

Where we’re standing, is absolutely safe.

“Don’t worry!”

At this point, Iron-Blood couldn’t help but laugh.

Yue Wei curiously asked, “What are you laughing at?”

Iron-Blood said, “I laugh because wild monsters are just wild monsters, not as smart as humans. The system tells them not to leave the forest, and they just don’t, foolishly obedient. If it were me, I definitely wouldn’t listen to the system and would do whatever I wanted!”

As Yue Wei listened, he suddenly had a sense of déjà vu.

The last time this guy talked like this, it seemed they all got wiped out.

The time before last was also a wipeout…

And the time before that, yet another wipeout.

While Yue Wei was reminiscing, Yi Zheng, through the perspective of his clone, saw the situation at the east gate of Vermilion Bird City and, seeing that the players had almost all arrived, revealed an evil smile, “Next, the script should return to its proper course! Dear player brothers, your takeaway has arrived, haha!”

Yi Zheng took over the Combat Spirit’s control of the clone, turned back to face the Fury state Goblin Demon, and shouted, “Trash, you think you can kill me? Can you even catch me? Hahaha…”

Hahahaha you can’t beat me

There’s no way, I’m just that powerful

Hahahaha you can’t catch up with me

La la la la la la la la la la

Hahahaha beaten by me

Everybody come at me, I’m not even scared

That demonic song once again came out of Yi Zheng’s terribly off-tune voice.

This song instantly triggered the memories in the heart of the Goblin Demon. Last time, he was made a fool by this Rabbit singing this song; this time it was happening again!

Fury!

Rage!

Frenzy!

An endless rage burst forth from his chest, and a thick Demonic Qi spread around, his eyes completely consumed by anger.

“Kill, kill, kill, I’m going to kill you!”

The Goblin Demon seemed to have lost his sanity and, howling madly, chased after Yi Zheng.

Yi Zheng very decisively used the Fire Control Technique, but this time he didn’t use it to attack. Instead, he controlled the flames to burst forth from his limbs, turning them into four rocket boosters that significantly increased his speed, barely widening the gap between him and the Goblin Demon.

The cost was a rapid decrease in Mana Value. If it weren’t for the carrots he was frantically munching, his mana would have probably drained in just a couple of seconds.

The upside was, after the speed boost hit its peak, he reached the edge of Swordsman Forest within a few seconds!

Just as Yue Wei was finishing recalling those miserable experiences, he then saw that Rabbit charging over and his face drastically changed as he cursed loudly, “Damn! You jinx!”

“Fuck, that Rabbit is charging over with a Catastrophe Level monster! Run!” The players also reacted very quickly, shouting as they scrambled back.

Yue Wei also wanted to run but was held firmly in place by Iron-Blood, who said very calmly, “What are you running for? I’ve told you before, this is a safe zone. The wild monsters won’t leave the forest… Fuck, run!”

Iron-Blood was full of confidence just a moment ago, but when he saw that Rabbit charging out of the forest like a streak of smoke, he immediately turned and ran.

When Yue Wei came to his senses, Iron-Blood was already more than ten meters away.
