The key that had been floating in the air fits over the lock of the Lootbox, opening it quickly... and a strong glow is exposed right above my face, making it impossible for me to know what prize I've gotten.

When the glow has dissipated, I quickly notice what I've got.

"Definitely... I got something very dangerous and valuable for a short time."

I couldn't summon this weapon now, being a temporary item... it could easily disappear.

Things are getting a bit easier now, it's just the first step towards mastering the corners of this system.

Going to my room, I put on my school uniform and put my knife back in my pocket... as useless as it seems to be to keep it here with me, given my current strength and the items I have in my possession, I prefer to be prepared.

As I left my room, heading for the living room where people usually rest at home... Ruby was dressed in the usual home clothes, consisting of a light black shirt with short pants that went down to her thighs.

I was surprised by this, she wasn't organized, and Miyako was preparing breakfast for Ruby and me.

"Good morning Aqua, I see you're up now... would you like some coffee?"

Miyako ended up offering me breakfast, and I couldn't refuse this gift of the day.

I sit down at the table where Ruby was sitting, and look at the screen of her cell phone, researching places where she could try out for an idol group without having to wait so long to be called back to the same place.

I'm afraid that one day she'll want to join an underground group for this segment, but I don't think she'd have such an early thought... she knows she can achieve much more with the image and experience she has.

"Ah? Good morning Aqua, I hadn't even noticed you were still here!"

With a lot of enthusiasm on her part, I ended up speechless that she hadn't noticed me even after that night.

"Good morning, Ruby... I don't know how you didn't notice me here."

I feigned disagreement so she wouldn't notice me watching her cell phone through the shadows, where she had her Idol-related searches.

"I was really focused on finding another place to perform, but it's been a bit difficult..."

Hearing that made me a little worried, she's so focused on this that she can't take a minute to rest her head.

"Eat with me and let's talk for a while, you can look at this later."

"All right..." Ruby had quietly accepted the decision and stood with her arms on the table, her body slightly bent to try to relax a little.

"Relax a bit, Ruby, haste is the enemy of perfection..."

Miyako ended up handing us the toasted bread and two mugs of coffee to sip quietly while she went back to her computer at the other table.

"I don't want to look lazy, I'm just focused."

Miyako listens to this with a little squeeze in her heart, she ends up approaching both of us and tries to engage in a little dialog.

With a low look from Ruby, she reflects thinking about what our mother would think... and indeed, she would also think about my sister's well-being, as she has all the time in the world to excel.

I give my right eye a wink, emphasizing last night and also her daily effort... she ends up with a slightly red face from shyness but quickly converts with a smile.

Miyako ends up running her hand over our heads like a mother's caress, and goes back to her computer after having finished making breakfast.

"I'll be absent from school today, can you contact the teacher at school?"

Confused by her words, I wanted to know why she wanted to miss today. She said she just wanted to rest her mind today and would distract herself with things she usually likes to do, like watching a series or reading a book.

Caught up in the tests and immense efforts to achieve her goal, she needs this time to rebuild her mentality so that in the next tests, she'll stand out more.

"Calm down Ruby, I'm already packed, so I'll be going... take care ok?"

"I'll take care of myself, thanks brother."

I pat Ruby on the head and walk to the door outside the house, open it and close it to continue on my way to school.

"This snack here will last me until I leave school, maybe I'll stay a few more hours on campus."

Before I left for school, I had decided to buy some snacks that could last for hours, maybe I'll start thinking a bit about how I can look for my father... since I've never met him in my life.

Walking to a nearby bus stop, I suddenly felt a sound growing in my mind... a sound so loud that it was worse than five mosquitoes annoying you at night.

"What the fuck is that sound?!"

I end up dropping my snack on the sidewalk, and as I kneel in the street with my hands on my head... the sound dissipates, and a siren is played loudly in the street.

Several people heard that and started running the same way, and when I got up and picked up the snack I'd dropped on the ground... I quickly thought of the answer.

"Yeah, now it's the spirits' turn."

Raising my right hand, I quickly summoned my Sandalphon from my temporary inventory.
