Professional Panty Stealer: Yeah, Rimuru is right… You know you can quit man, we won't judge.

Jinwoo: …

Rin's Mom: Fools. Instead of discouraging him, you should cheer him on. He can't back out now, he's so close…And besides he chose to put this upon himself, It would instead insult him if you undermine his determination.

"Haha… thanks, Archer… You're right, I can't back up…Argh! Now…especially… since I wished for this power." I muttered weakly and in pain as I held an orange sword placed in a stone table with my hand, while sitting in a rocky throne in front that's spewing a torrent of Orange flames that had engulfed my entire being.

50 minutes has passed since I started this torture,…or rather Trial to obtain Mumeiken Kyomu and Eternal Phoenix WonderRide Book. And it has also been 50 or so Minutes since I have started my stream.

I was gonna close it after I found out what the trial was but the others rejected, as they wanted to cheer me on… They were even able to see the system's countdown.

The trial is basically an enduring trial. I need to endure for an hour while being bathed in scorching phoenix flames while my body slowly turns into dust before regenerating afterwards.

The scorching pain from the orange flames and the feeling of my body constantly turning into sand and reverting back afterwards had almost made me quit for quite a while before.

I couldn't even do anything but howl in pain as I went through this ordeal, but I had persisted, afterall. A power that hasn't been gained without an ounce of effort will corrupt someone easily.

And besides… I have to endure it as Kyomu and the Eternal Phoenix wonder ride book is worth it.

Afterall, the two will grant me Immortality…

The pain is somewhat bearable now, unlike the first few minutes at the start and my body had stopped turning into dust as well. Although, In exchange, I can't feel my body anymore, as it has hardened, just like a charcoal.

"Hey, Archer? I know how great of a cook you are, can you cook something for me once I'm done here?" I voiced weakly, my voice hoarse as I looked at the streams chat to see what Archer and the rest would say.

-3'd person POV (Archer)-

Archer clenched his right hand,hidden under his crossed arms as he leaned on the wall of the balcony. Watching the scene of the black haired young man getting burned continuously by an orange inferno.

Afterall, although he had realized how utterly foolish his previous ideals were, Archer still disliked seeing anyone suffering.

Still, after this he plans to have Jin explain how he knew about his cooking skills.

Rin's Mom: …Ok, but you have to explain how you knew about it afterwards.

-Narrator's POV-

Just like Archer, the rest of the group members worriedly watched Jin's current condition. Expressing their worries in each of their own ways.

Jinwoo, the same as Archer had clenched his hand inside his room as he watched his friend endure a pain even he finds unimaginable.

Kazuma had bitten his thumb while watching. And lastly, Rimuru, due to his worries, ended up encapsulating Gobta in a bag of silk.

Each of the four, while reacting a bit differently, had been hoping that their friend's suffering would end any minute now.

And hearing after hearing his words, and seeing Archer's reply. The three had also promised to treat this friend of theirs.

Rin's Mom: …Ok, but you have to explain how you knew about it afterwards.

Rimuru: Me too! I'll have Regurd, Gobta, and the rest prepare a feast for you!

Jinwoo: We also haven't done the celebration meal with Jinhoo…

Professional Panty Stealer: M-me too! I'll sell some of my old games to earn enough and I'll treat you to some Yakiniku, Or ramen!

Seeing their messages, especially Kazuma who even considered selling his games made Jin smile gratefully…

But..

"Thanks g-guys…" Just as Jin finished saying those two words, his entire body crumbled into dust from the throne still pulsing in heat… shocking the four watching, as apart from seeing this, the system had also released a notification.

-Admin, Azuma Jin had died-

Rimuru, Jinwoo, Kazuma, and Archer couldn't say anything, as they looked at the timer that stopped at 59:59 with a stunned expression… Literally a second before Jin could complete the test.

Rimuru: WHAT!?! What happened!?

Professional Panty Stealer: Did he die?!?

Jinwoo: I-Im afraid so… damn.

Rin's Mom:....

Rin's Mom: Wait… If he really did die, then why didn't the stream stop?

Seeing what Archer sent, the other three came to a realization as they looked at the stream with wide eyes, looking around the room to find some clue as to why the stream didn't end, hoping that Jin was fine.

Jinwoo: Look! There's a feather falling!

___

The three looked at the Stream as they read Jinwoo's message. And just as Jinwoo had said, there was indeed a feather slowly falling towards the stone table.

The four of them stared at the feather as it neared the sword Jin was holding before.

Kazuma gulped in nervousness, Rimuru's body shook, while both Archer and Jinwoo stayed focused on the feather without blinking.

. . . . .

Finally, the feather touched the sword.

But the 4 was quiet as the scene they were looking forward to did not happen at all…

Yet…

Because, Just as they felt defeated and gave up, a blinding orange light flashed before their eyes, making them close it, and once once they opened them once again…

They saw Jin, fully In tact, holding Kyomu in his right hand, while the other held a small black framed booklet, the Eternal Phoenix WonderRide Book.

And as Jin opened his eyes, the timer which had stopped before had turned on again.

"I… did it?" Jin muttered in disbelief while simultaneously breathing a sigh of relief as he stared at the two items he's holding on both of his hands.

"Hell YEA!" Jin jumped up and exclaimed in happiness, while the others, except for Archer , breathed a sigh of relief, seeing Jin jumping about and celebrating.

Rimuru: We thought you were dead, man!

Jinwoo: Whew…

Professional Panty Stealer: What the hell! You almost gave me a heart attack!

Rin's Mom: Good job on not dying, kid. Although, I am greatly interested in the two items on your hand. What are they, for you to risk your life like that?

-Jin POV-

Seeing their messages, I grinned before smiling smugly.

"Ufufu, these two? Well, they are things that can ensure my safety!"

"Meet my new partners! Kyomu and Eternal Phoenix!"

In response to my words, Kyomu glowed subtly in my hand while the Eternal Phoenix WonderRide book opened on its own, and a being came out.

*Chirp!* The orange chick(?) announced itself as it stood on top of Jin's right shoulder.

I reached out my open left palm at the little guy, and it jumped into it with another chirp.

"I'm gonna name you, Phi! Is that fine?" I asked my new friend while scratching its neck with my index finger.

*Chirp!* The Chick, or rather, Phi nodded as it chirped with its eyes closed.

"Alright! From today onwards, your name is Phi, the Phoenix!" Afterwards, I had ended my scratches before guiding my hand near my right shoulder where Phi jumped and got comfortable.

"So! What's up guys? Do you want to continue watching the stream? If not, I can end…

I'm planning on going back to the village I'm staying in, although before that, I'm going back to Jinwoo's world and buying some stuff, so this might be boring after all."

Rimuru: Wait, nevermind. The guards came back, this time with some other dwarves, so I might be busy. (QAQ I'll pass for now! Goodnight Jin!

Rin's Mom: I'm gonna go ahead as well, I already missed dinner.

Jinwoo: I guess I'll be meeting you later? I can contact Jinho and we can eat outside afterwards.

"Oh sure! You can bring Jinha with you as well, as I'll be needing her help as well"

Jinwoo: Alright. I'll go now, see you.

-Jin(A) turned off the stream-

Jin(A): See ya!

I closed the group chat and took a deep breath before I scratched Phi's neck one more time, making the tiny flame on top of its head flicker which got back to normal as soon as I stopped.

"I'm afraid you might need to go back inside the book for now, Phi because I'll be going to a place where people don't really like monsters… although you aren't one, but some people might have bad thoughts."

Phi seemed to understand as it just chirped at me and nuzzled in my neck for a sec before she flew back and entered the WonderRide Book.

"Now then, it's just you and me, Kyomu. I'll be bringing you along with me, afterall, we gotta find you a scabbard." In response to my word's, the floating Kyomu glowed in an orange light before it flew towards me.

"Hehe, what a cute sword you are" I grinned at the sword who's feeling happy when I mentioned buying a scabbard.

'Oh? Its happiness turned into embarrassment? How cute… I can really feel Kyomu's emotions, this is new, In fact, Phi… why is he on some kind of baby mode? I don't remember that in the show.'

'Then again, this isn't the series, It's the real world so things can change'

I looked at Kyomu floating in front of me and smiled. 'Besides, this isn't so bad.'

"Let's go Kyomu! As for your friends, I'll let them decide who will be worthy to take their test. I can think of a few people that are greatly compatible with them" I hummed as I thought about a few faces… In fact Subaru is one of them. But that's a story for another time.

I picked up Kyomu before using the Gate skill once again to get myself out of the Temple, planning on coming back again later after I had found new candidates for the rest of the Seiken.

I arrived back in the sanctuary, Kyomu in hand and opened the World Travel Tab once again.

I arrived back in the house I was in before, which was surprisingly spotless as it was before I went away. I took out my phone from my inventory,which as soon as I opened, a bunch of notifications had bombarded me.

The newest one is an urgent call, asking low rank hunters to gather in a specific area…because a D-Rank dungeon had opened up.

"Eh, why not? I can take Kyomu for a spin with this."

I decided to go to the place, though not before taking a cold shower and changing clothes.

I also did not forget to knock on Jinwoo's door to check if he was inside, but nobody answered. I realized that he might have gone into the rendezvous point already since he most likely received the same notification as I had.

So I shrugged and took a cab towards the place.

I arrived there just in time to see convicts wearing orange jumpsuits get out from a van, while Jinwoo and Johee were face to face talking, but they were interrupted by one of the convicts who said something, and was interrupted by a purple haired person wearing a black suit.

"Oh? This must be "that" episode." I muttered after seeing the whole party of people that's going to enter the gate, the five of them happened to be involved in the double dungeon incident

"YO! Jinwoo!" I called out, getting all of their attention on me. I of course ignored it as I walked towards the group. "Sorry I'm a bit late! I needed to take a cold shower before,"

"Anyways, moving on from that, so this is "the" Johee? It's a pleasure to meet you Noona!" I pinched my chin as I looked at Johee up and down before pointing a thumbs up at Jinwoo and voiced. "I approve!" while showing a teasing smile.

A tick seemed to grow on Jinwoo's forehead as his eyes twitched as he said.

"And how are you, Jin?"

"Oh? I'm good! I just came back when the call came. I even knocked on your door but you weren't there so I figured you were already in this place and I was right! So! When's the wedding?" I replied, which earned me a punch in the head by Jinwoo, as he looked at blushing Johee and apologized.

"Sorry about this friend of mine, he can be annoying sometimes"

Hearing this Johee shook her head and replied with a smile "I don't mind, I had to take care of a younger relative of mine before and he was as silly as your friend here."

My eyes lit up upon hearing this before I flashed a mischievous smile at them, "You heard that Jinwoo? She knows how to take care of kids! So what are you waiting for?"

My words turned Johee's face completely beet red as she took a glance at Jinwoo from time to time. While Jinwoo sighed in resignation, pinching his brow.

"Wahaha! This young man is quite an Interesting one" Suddenly, the older man with one hand that has been watching us laughed.

I looked at him and smiled "It's nice to meet you sir! My name is Seung Woojin, you can call me Woojin or Jin, either one is fine" I extended a hand at him which he accepted with his remaining one.

"Song Chiyul, it's nice to meet a young swordsman like you, young man." He replied as he took a glance at Kyomu.

"That's an Interesting sword you got there, mind if I take a look?"

"Sure! This sword is called Kyomu" I replied while handing him Kyomu, not worried if he did anything at all.

"I see… It's a good sword, take care of it well" He voiced while checking out Kyomu's entirety before handing it back to me.

"Of course! Kyomu is my partner after all" I replied. And Kyomu glowed in response, which was seen by everyone, the Convicts and the hunter's association employee included.

"Hoh? I take back what I said, it seems that you got quite a sword there young man" Chiyul voiced solemnly before he continued. "Don't show your sword willy nilly, some people might have thoughts about it" he warns.

"Be careful young man, especially inside the gate, because as you've seen, we aren't the only one entering, and they have seen your sword as well" He walked away after leaving those words and went to the female association employee to ask for more explanation.

Meanwhile I glanced at everyone here, Jinwoo and Johee were having a conversation in their little world, while the other two who survived the double dungeon incident were standing on their own awaiting the start of the raid.

Meanwhile, a quick glance at the convicts reveals them eyeing Kyomu without hiding their intentions at all. And as for the two association employee's one is talking with Chiyul while the other one, the main enemy of this episode, has his eyes closed, while taking a glance at the prisoners from time to time while also stealing glances at Kyomu.

Seeing the convicts and the Assassin's not so hidden intentions, I smirked and thought.

"This is gonna be fun."
