Multiversal Livestreaming System : I Can Copy My Viewers Skills

Chapter 137: To Knowledge and Power (10)

The isolation barrier finally faded.

Light returned to Adam's eyes, and for a brief moment, he stood there unmoving.

His chest rose and fell with rough breaths as he felt the world rush back to him all at once.

A pair of arms wrapped around his waist.

"Adam…"

Miya's voice shook against his chest.

"You're alive…"

He didn't hug her back.

He just stood there, silent, feeling her warmth pressed into him.

After a few seconds, he raised his trembling hand and rested it softly on her back.

Then, he pulled away.

His eyes scanned the battlefield, calm but distant.

He saw Xel'Shaar lying broken on the ground, his armor cracked open, his limbs twisted unnaturally.

The faint beating of his core was the only proof of life left.

Adam looked away.

His gaze landed on a figure lying motionless nearby.

Leila.

His breath caught in his throat.

He moved forward quickly but without urgency, almost like he was walking through water.

When he reached her side, he knelt down and gathered her in his arms, lifting her upper body gently.

Her skin was cold.

Her hair was matted with dirt and dried blood.

Her eyes fluttered half-open, the stars in her pupils flickering like dying lanterns.

For a moment, she didn't say anything.

Then her gaze found his.

"Adam…"

She whispered, her voice so quiet it was almost lost in the wind.

Her lips trembled as she forced a small smile.

"Can you… put me next to him…?"

Adam glanced at Kristoff's remains lying a few meters away.

His body was torn apart, half of him missing, bones and flesh strewn like discarded trash.

But his hand still remained, curled in a silent fist.

Adam swallowed back something tight in his chest.

Without a word, he carried her over and laid her down gently beside Kristoff.

Her trembling fingers reached out and brushed against his cold, broken hand.

A small sigh escaped her lips, like she finally found a piece of peace.

Then—

[Obimeen rushes the streamer to help her out.]

[Pulsed Howler whimpers in sadness.]

[Hazardous Combatant]: Healing items won't help her…

[Obimeen is asking why!]

[Hazardous Combatant]: It's the Second Angel's punishment… losing a challenge of Authority means death.

[ivylynx has donated an E-tier gift]

[You have received: Enchanted River Water: River water blessed by a higher existence.]

[ivylynx]: Please, use it quickly!

Adam's hands shook as he fumbled with the bottles.

"Perhaps it will work…" he muttered under his breath, his voice barely audible.

He poured the glowing liquids onto her wounds, letting the light seep into her broken skin.

He forced some into her mouth, holding her chin up so she could swallow.

But her body remained pale and cold.

He opened another bottle.

Then another.

Liquid spilled down her chest and onto the ground beneath her, mixing with the dirt and blood.

Her eyes closed for a moment, then fluttered open weakly.

"Adam…"

She whispered, her voice barely there.

"It doesn't seem to be working..."

"Don't talk."

He said softly.

His hands pressed down on her wounds, desperate to keep them closed.

He pulled out the Enchanted River Water, uncorking it with trembling fingers.

He poured it over her chest, watching it run down her skin, praying it would do something… anything.

But her breath only grew shallower.

He felt his own chest tighten painfully.

A silent ache that spread through his ribs like an old wound being torn open.

A faint red crown rose above his head.

[Mercy].

The healing chant covered her completely.

Always read at the source—MV@LEMP@YR.

For a moment, her color returned as her breathing seemed to have steadied...

But then it all faded again.

Her skin turned white as chalk.

Her lips cracked open with silent gasps.

Adam sat back on his heels, his head lowering, his hair falling over his eyes.

His hands clenched against his knees.

He didn't say anything as he just sat there, his shoulders trembling slightly with each quiet breath.

Leila's eyes slowly moved to him.

Her lips curled into a small, fragile smile.

"Adam…"

She said softly, her voice barely audible.

"After… the challenge of authority… I was gifted knowledge based on my circumstances…"

Her words came out slow.

Adam lifted his gaze, his eyes dim with a grief too heavy to hold.

Before he could speak, Leila raised her trembling hand.

Her fingertips pressed softly against his forehead.

Warmth spread through him.

And then—

A sudden burst of memories flooded his mind.

...

In his memories, Adam saw a scene from memories that didn't seem to belong to him.

Elaric and Celestia stood within a vast chamber cloaked in darkness.

Glowing runes floated in the air like silent watchers.

Between them stood Selena, her long hair drifting around her like silver mist.

He watched as the three of them activated their powers.

Celestia raised her arms, her Omnipresence bending the dimensions around them, creating countless folded layers of space.

Elaric extended his hand, his Authority fusing the layers together with unbreakable seals.

Then Omnipotence, sitting silently beside them with dim eyes, flicked her finger, weaving the power of infinite creation into the structure.

Her Authority gave their hidden dimension permanence that could never be undone.

Together, they combined Omnipresence, Omnipotence, and Omniscience to isolate Selena away from the gaze of the Tower of Yxthar and all reality itself.

Selena turned to face Elaric and Celestia calmly.

"Inside this sealed space, I will create the spell."

She said.

"One that will allow us to control the Tower of Yxthar."

Adam could feel Elaric's silent curiosity even within the memory.

"How long will it take?"

He asked her.

Her gaze lowered slightly.

"Years."

She said softly.

"Perhaps decades. This is a grand spell. Its complexity is beyond anything that exists now. It will need countless conditions to be met before completion."

Celestia narrowed her eyes.

"What is the primary requirement?"

Selena took a breath.

"We must block out the tenth floor. If we seal it, the Tower will remain disconnected from its other parts across universes. The Tower of Yxthar will become weak and isolated… vulnerable to manipulation."
