[You have consumed Venomous Drake Crystalized Essence]...

Adam gritted his teeth as the poison began to take effect.

The first few crystals weren't so bad... his body wasn't weak to toxins, after all.

But with each shard, the pain intensified.

His veins felt like they were on fire, burning with a stinging heat that spread across his chest, down his arms, and through his legs.

It was as though molten glass was coursing through his blood, constricting his muscles and pulsing with every heartbeat.

The sensation was unbearable.

A sharp hiss escaped him as he clenched his fists.

He could feel his blood thickening, his body reacting to the venom really aggressively.

Focus, focus...

Despite the rising panic within him, Adam steeled his mind.

His old instincts kicked in.

He immediately activated [Crimson Dominion], a skill he had never before used to its full potential.

It wasn't the same as his old [Body Blood Magic].

No, [Crimson Dominion] was something that made what he doing a lot easier.

[Watcher of Iron Rings] : I hadn't subscribed for long, I wasn't informed that this streamer was suicidal!!

[pockyslee has sent an F-tier gift]

[You have received] +2 Soul Cores

[pockyslee] : For some reason, the the streamer makes it feel like a mukbang. Those crystals look a bit tasty in my eyes...

[Frog Eater] : If you're born with a stomach that handles poison well, the more lethal the poison a food has, the tastier it gets.

[Prankster of Kingdoms says he's pretty sure the Frog Eater just wants the strange viewers to die...]

[CripsyDeath has sent an F-tier gift]

[You have received] : +8 Soul Cores

[CrispyDeath begs the streamer not to do this!]

[CrispyDeath says there's so much more to live for!]

[Seyra has donated an F-tier gift]

[You have received] Poison Antidote : Cures minor-level poison.

[Seyra has donated an F-tier gift]

[You have received] Venom Antidote : Cures minor-level venom.

[Seyra is deeply worried about the streamer!]

The fiery sting of the venom became a background hum as he pushed through the pain.

He envisioned the blood vessels in his body, the microscopic capillaries and arteries, and slowly, deliberately, began to manipulate them.

Like strings on a puppet, he pulled at the essence of his own circulatory system, controlling the infected veins laced with poison...

The pain wasn't gone, but it was manageable...

His heart raced, blood pumping in rhythm to his concentration.

[You have consumed Venomous Drake Crystalized Essence]

[You have consumed Venomous Drake Crystalized Essence]

[You have consumed Venomous Drake Crystalized Essence]...

His thoughts sharpened as he ignored the system notifications filling the air.

The essence of the crystals spread further through his bloodstream.

The venom was becoming part of him, integrating itself into his very essence.

But Adam had something they didn't know... control.

He could feel the foreign poison trying to spread uncontrollably, working its way into his muscle fibers and organ systems, but each time it attempted to breach a safe zone, he twisted the blood, redirecting its path with deadly precision.

The poison was his to command now.

The notifications kept coming, but Adam was no longer paying them any mind.

He could feel the poison building up, his blood now thickened and unstable, laced with the crystals' essence, but he wasn't scared.

This was the evolution he had been seeking, the true test of his limits.

[Warning! Body undergoing physical changes...]

Adam's eyes narrowed as the familiar warning flashed in his peripheral vision.

He grinned slightly.

So the poison was having an effect now after all...

His body was responding.

This was it!

This was the moment he had pushed himself toward!

No going back now.

He pressed forward.

There was a buzz in his ears now, like a low hum reverberating from deep inside his body.

The venom was spreading through his circulatory system, lacing his blood, warping his regenerative cells.

His pulse sped up.

His vision flickered as his body adjusted to the new state of being.

[Body has adapted to the Venomous Drake Crystalized Essence]

[Your produced regenerative blood is now laced with lethal venom]

A cold satisfaction washed over him.

The system message confirmed it.

His blood was now partly venomous!

His healing factor, once natural and uncontaminated, had evolved to incorporate the venomous properties, regenerating not just tissue and flesh, but also venom-tipped blood.

For a brief moment, Adam felt the urge to laugh.

His body had always been his greatest weapon, and now… it was laced with something that could kill even the toughest foes!

The burning sensation began to subside as his regeneration kicked in.

The pain didn't disappear entirely, but it became… tolerable.

More than that, his body was adapting.

His veins no longer burned with the foreign poison... they enacted deeply with power, each beat of his heart a reminder of the changes he had forced upon himself.

Adam took a deep breath, feeling the new power course through him.

He flexed his hand, feeling the energy in his fingertips.

I can control this...

Poison in my blood… lethal on demand.

The implications were enormous.

His ability to use venom in combat, directly through his blood, would make him an even greater threat!

Not only would his strikes become laced with poison, but his regenerative blood would turn wounds into weapons.

He could strike with lethal force and then heal, all while the poison worked its way through his opponent's veins!

He dispelled the illusion surrounding him, and as the magical barrier faded, he returned to the present, only to find Cael standing nearby, staring at the two bags that were nearly empty.

Cael raised an eyebrow, his lips twitching.

His eyes flickered from the bags to Adam, who was walking past him without a second glance.

'Did this guy really just eat all of them?'

Cael's mind couldn't help but ask, but he immediately shut his mouth.

The silence stretched between them as he decided it was better not to inquire.

He had learned long ago that asking Adam too many questions was often a fast track to confusion or a punch in the face.

Adam's footsteps echoed in the quiet space as he walked toward the rest of the team, who were gathered and waiting.

Cael couldn't help but watch him go, a bit mystified by the whole situation.

The team was waiting for their leader to give the orders, but there was something unsettling about Adam's calm demeanor, almost like he had just stepped through an entirely new threshold.

Adam turned to face them, his expression still wearing no sort of emotion.

"Tomorrow will be the day we attack the floor boss, The Rotborn Leviathan."

The group exchanged glances.

They were confused as Adam was the one who had told them that they would no longer be farming for experience points today and would instead do something more important.

To the group's expectation, they thought they were immediately gonna go to the Rotborn Leviathan.

After all, they had already been properly well-rested, and had even bought all the necessary items and preparation.

So why were they wasting time and waiting for tomorrow instead of doing it now?

Leila opened her mouth to speak, but Adam raised a hand to halt her.

He wasn't finished.

"However."

He continued, his voice growing firmer.

"Before that, we're going to have a lecture the whole day."
