Mr. Bigshot Is Obsessed with His Hidden-Marriage Wife

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Excitement Can Overcome Fear

Fu Xingzhou flung his phone onto the seat and pinched his furrowed brows, coldly urging, "Check how long it will take to clear the road."

The rain kept pouring down, a bad omen indeed.

After checking, the bodyguard spoke cautiously, "The rain is too heavy; it'll probably be clear by tomorrow morning."

At his words, the pressure inside the car dropped even lower than the gloomy weather outside.

"Sir," the bodyguard glanced at the rearview mirror, pondering for a moment, "Are you worried about madam?"

As bodyguards, they never pried into such personal matters; unless their employer initiated the question, they kept to themselves.

Fu Xingzhou's expression remained unchanged, seemingly giving his permission to continue.

"Ah Si previously took madam home, but she didn't want to return to Yuqiao. Instead, she went back to the apartment at Grand Hall. Ah Si had tried to report this to you over the phone, but you didn't answer."

The bodyguard could only relay this minor issue to his colleagues, unable to keep calling about it.

"What are the road conditions like there?"

The bodyguard quickly checked, "There's some water accumulation, but it's passable."

Fu Xingzhou, leaning against the back seat, slightly closed his eyes; his entire demeanor relaxed, "To Grand Hall."

That was the small apartment Ye Yan had bought on loan; he had visited once and been turned away.

He just had the lock changed to a keypad one and recorded his own fingerprint.

Ye Yan didn't dare change it back, knowing it would be futile.

Fu Xingzhou pressed his fingerprint and entered, the house was pitch dark.

"Ye Yan." He walked to the bedroom and indeed found a bulge under the blanket.

She was usually stubborn like a little donkey in his presence, rarely seen panicked and scared.

Fu Xingzhou was pleased.

Just as he lifted the blanket, he was immediately embraced tightly; she hung on him like a helpless baby, her arms tightly around his waist.

Her pajamas were slightly damp from cold sweat.

"Don't be afraid," Fu Xingzhou held her as they sat on the edge of the bed, kissing her damp, sticky forehead.

"Fu Xingzhou?" Ye Yan lifted her head, her eyes misty like a lost lamb, a frightened deer, "How did you get here?"

Fu Xingzhou bit her ear slightly, seemingly dissatisfied with her tone, "Disappointed? Who did you think it would be, hmm?"

"Was it that Dr. Chai from your hospital, or Jiang?" he bit neither too lightly nor too harshly, his tongue even tracing along the rim of her ear, causing her an unbearable ticklishness.

"Only you can come in," her face looked like she was about to cry, a wronged expression.

Only in such times did she show him obedience and gentleness, obviously feeling safer with him than the daunting thunder outside.

She clenched the man in front of her tightly, her fingertips nearly breaking skin, truly terrified.

"When people are extremely excited, they can conquer their fears," Fu Xingzhou's kisses landed on her delicate neck, "Why don't we try it?"

"Fu Xingzhou… hiss." The man bit her shoulder harshly.

He was always rough in these matters, leaving her covered in bruises afterward was common.

She wasn't gentle with him either, using arms and legs, scratching, biting, kicking—anything to relieve her anger.

But making him bleed without causing pain only spurred his bloodthirsty nature, not stopping until he had thoroughly overwhelmed her.

The man's long hands stroked down her spine, the familiar touch sending shivers.

Ye Yan resisted his closeness, but another thunderclap made her wish she could crawl inside him.

"Dr. Ye is in such a hurry?" An annoying low chuckle sounded in her ear. "Holding so tight, even tighter than usual when you hug me."

He seemed to have also cursed her as a "little saucy fox," but Ye Yan couldn't bother to take him on, as she would gradually lose the ability to think once he started his aggression.

Thunder still rumbled, and lightning flashed against the thick curtains, briefly illuminating the charming scene within the room.

Ye Yan was exhausted to the point of collapse, her sweaty body glowing peach-red, her slightly squinted eyes rippling like water, innocence mixed with hints of allure.

Her legs were long and slender, her skin smooth and pale, and her willow waist was too thin to grasp fully.

Fu Xingzhou loved her flexibility that was soft as if she had no bones, allowing him to play various patterns.

In college, Meng Tian was crazy about dance, especially street dance.

Ye Yan didn't like music with too strong a beat, so she was dragged to learn classical dance. Initially, she only wanted to accompany Meng Tian, but her teacher said she had a natural flexibility and encouraged her to continue.

She persisted for five years, even participating in performances during that time.

Later, following her mentor on a project and joining the workforce, her dance practice reduced, but she never gave it up.

Now, the jerk in front of her was benefiting from it.

Fu Xingzhou had a tattoo on his back, a blue dragon, with the dragon's head reaching over the shoulder, one whisker extending beside his ear, and the other wrapped around his right arm, the dragon's glaring eyes fixated on her enticing, watery demeanor.

Ye Yan had once been very afraid of this dragon, often dreaming it would come to life and attack her with its gaping mouth.

Now, she was keen on tearing it apart.

Fu Xingzhou's back showed the marks of her nails; the meticulously carved dragon now had many imperfections.

"Focus," Ye Yan's momentary distraction displeased the man.

The chaos ended in an instant.

Ye Yan felt her whole body go weak, and her mind seemed to blank for a moment.

"Dr. Ye enjoys herself and ignores me?" The man supported her slender waist. "What a thankless little wanton."

Ye Yan looked down and realized he was still vigorous.

A man unsatisfied won't ease off easily.

The rain had somehow stopped, and the sky showed signs of clearing.

Ye Yan slept well that night, only feeling sore all over when she woke up in the morning, as if she had run a full marathon the previous evening.

She hugged the blanket and turned over, finding herself face to face with the man, still asleep, his arm still draped over her waist in a domineering and possessive pose.

Ye Yan dared not move.

Her gaze locked and contended with the dragon on his shoulder.

It seemed Fu Xingzhou hadn't lied; extreme excitement could indeed overcome fear, as she had never slept so peacefully through such weather to dawn.

Suddenly, the phone by the bedside buzzed.

Ye Yan hurriedly, cautiously grabbed the phone, casting a careful glance at the man, who was deep in slumber, his long lashes covering his eyelids, motionless.

Ye Yan thought the most adorable moment of Fu Xingzhou was when he was asleep, his beautiful hand resting quietly somewhere, his venomous mouth softly closed into a thin line.

Thinking of what that hand did last night, her face immediately flushed a deep red.

The phone showed missed call notifications, some from Meng Tian, some from Ye Zhun, and a few from Fu Xingzhou.

She hurriedly opened the messaging app, indeed finding messages from Meng Tian and Ye Zhun.

Her fear of thunder was known only to these two.

Ye Yan was just about to assure them of her safety when she discovered that replies had already been sent to both.

She liked using emojis while chatting, but those replies were quite mechanical, the punctuation too proper, as if someone was trying hard to mimic her tone, but it didn't quite fit.

Glancing at the reply timings, then turning to the sleeping man beside her, Ye Yan suddenly felt the dragon come alive, almost endearingly so.
