Mountain, I Bought It – Living in Another World Isn’t Bad Either

Chapter 25

Chapter 25. First Time Using the App (2)

After taking a bath, I return to the tent in a good mood. Just when I thought all that was left was to sleep, I remembered.

“I haven’t downloaded the Storage app yet!”

Even after building a simple toilet and bathhouse, I still have 1,020 KP left. With this, I should still be able to get the Storage app.

Tap

I muttered it because I’ve always wanted to say it. Since I was alone, no one heard me anyway.

Then, within a few seconds, an orange icon with just the word “Storage” appeared on the tablet screen.

When I lightly tapped it, some kind of list appeared on the screen.

“Yeah, I knew it.”

Though I called it a list, there were no item names at all. It was completely empty.

And the capacity was 1㎥.

Let me say it again. 1㎥.

My gaze grew distant.

“I can’t fit the warehouse stuff in here!”

Can’t I increase the capacity? I desperately searched for something like a help section.

To cut to the chase, it’s possible. But.

“Even here, it’s KP?!”

Lord Ignos, you’re harsh! So harsh!

“Ugh! With just cutting trees, there’s no way I can save up enough! Isn’t there any other way to increase it?”

And then, I found it. It seems that if you discard items stored in the Storage, depending on the item, you can get KP in return!

“Wait, so like the cup noodles earlier…”

I tried storing the empty cup noodle container I had kept in a plastic bag.

“Whoa.”

I was impressed that it went in with an image. When I touched the image, options like Discard, Decompose, and Synthesize appeared below. However, it seemed like the cup noodle container could only be discarded. When I pressed the discard button.

-5 KP acquired-

“…Amazing.”

Could this make throwing away garbage easier?

“…Ahhh! I shouldn’t have thrown away the bulky garbage over there!”

I mean, if I had discarded things like appliances through the Storage instead of paying money!

“I wasted so much!”

As I crouched down, clutching my head, I suddenly realized.

“…What if I discarded money too?”

In a panic, I took out my wallet and pulled out a 1-yen coin. I felt a bit stingy for not using a 10-yen or 100-yen coin, but it was just to be safe.

“Alright, let’s store it… yep, it’s in. Now, to discard… I can’t do it?!”

Nope, couldn’t do it.

Instead, only the Decompose option was available. Does this mean I can turn it back into metal? For a 1-yen coin, it’s aluminum, right?

“…What am I supposed to do with aluminum?”

And with just a 1-yen coin, it’d only amount to a fingertip’s worth.

…At the very least, I understood that money doesn’t convert into KP.
