Mostly Invincible

I woke up the next morning very confused.

I'm still excited about my first outing in my costume.

But I also have this feeling that here shortly my high is going to end.

I shower and get ready before heading downstairs to see mom grabbing her keys.

"You okay, mom?"

When mom opened the door there are two men in suits standing there. "Ma'am can you come with us. You to sir."

We got lead into the top-secret superhero Hospital and down to Dad's room.

We walked in and as soon as we spotted dad, Mom ran to him.

I put my hand on moms shoulder. "Who Did this?"

Cecil: "We Don't know. Not yet, Anyway. But we will find out, and when we do, they will look a hell of a lot worse than your father."

I turned around to find him, the man talking is at the door. "Cecil Steadman. Director of the GDA."

He Put out his hand to shake mine and I met it.

Cecil: "Deborah. I'm so sorry."

Debbie: "Cecil, you've got a lot of nerve." - "Someone murder the Guardians of the Globe last night."

"Impossible!"

Cecil: "Unfortunately it is possible, and whoever did it got All of them. They are riped, Limb from Limb.. we tried like hell to Bring 'em back. But Nolan was the only survivor."

"Someone Try to wipe out all the top dogs at once."

Cecil: "That's our theory. Unfortunately it almost worked.

We're keeping this all under the wraps, but eventually the news will break.

I just wanted you and Mark to know first."

Debbie: "Cold towels and ice water… and have a cot brought here for me."

Cecil: "Deborah. We have the best doctors."

Seeing that I won't help them calm her down, and seeing her determination they agreed.

Right as they agreed agreed Cecil's right hand got an alert that there's an attack happening downtown.

"Mom. I Got to go."

Debbie: "Mark."

"Someone as to help,and Dad unfortunately is down for now and so is the guardians.

I'll be safe, I promise."

She sighed. "You be a hero. Be safe."

I changed my clothes into tiny metal rods and put them in my pocket.

I looked back at mom and dad before putting on my mask and flying out of the building.

When I got close, I look down, I was shocked to see a ridiculous amount of soldiers coming out of the portal.

'My first army. This will be great. Yeah.' "Okay, this is easy. Let's go."

With a boom I shot down and landed at the front and accidentally slid killing a bunch of enemy.

"I totally meant to do that."

I looked around me and see the rubble around me.

'Rubble. Ammunition.'

The rubble glowed blue then shot out at the army killing 20 at once.

I smiled to myself until I noticed an old lady getting attacked.'Right. Attack.'

I grabbed a piece of rubble with rebar sticking out and threw it right at The invaders face. He moved just enough to just get hit in the side of the face but he still got sent backwards.

I formed a stretcher for the old lady, that carried her out of the war zone.

I seen someone grab her so I Turned around only to realized I was being shot the whole time.

"I Don't even feel that. Sucks for you guys."

I threw my arms out and a huge blue Square floated in the sky and slammed to the ground squashing many of the invaders.

I then went for some hand to hand. I flew into the crowd of attackers and took many down before they could react.

Something managed to hit me so I got knocked to the ground. When I looked up, I seen a huge bolt of energy coming at me.

'That one looks like it might hurt.'

I tried to form a shield to block myself, but luckily a pink one formed In front of me instead.

"Thanks."

Eve: "Any time."

I took off again, flying through the enemy to there tanks.

I went between two of them and Fired A concentrated stream of blue energy out of both hands, blowing them up.

"Always Wanted to do that. Curious if I'd work."

I flew up and did a back flip and sent out uncountable amount of Energy shards.

I seen they opened a second portal behind me. Which is causing The Teen Team to get over ran.

"Time for you to cool down."

I looked at my hands and had a feeling this might work.

I slammed my hands together and caused a wave of air to spread out from me knocking at the would be attackers away from them giving them room.

"Did that help?"

Robot: "A little. Yes."

I went to do another Charge when they started to rapidly age.

'They must come from a dimension where time flows differently. Judging by the time they are aging... well. It doesn't matter.'

They all ran back into the portal before they could die.

Rex: "I Don't know what just happened. But I think I speak for everyone here, When I say, I never wanted to happen ever again!"

"I have a feeling it will."

Rex: "Who are you?"

"Were's my manners. I'm Invincible."

Eve: "Isn't that a little?"

"Yeah I know. But it's kinda true.

Eve: "Well maybe next time I won't block it and we'll see how invincible you really are."

A Screen projected over my wrist. 'Seems my watch works through the suit. 'Good to know.'

Mom: (You okay?)

'I should head back. I don't want mom worrying.'

"I'm Sorry I have to go. I'll see you around."

Eve: "See ya."

Rex: "I don't like this. Did I become invisible all of a sudden?"
