The Jade Slayer
[3rd POV]
"Useless, Useless, Uesless!!"
"USELESS!!!"
"You all are fucking USELESS!!!!"
A wild boar screamed at the soldiers. His name was Wang, but most people knew him as the brother of the King of Jingnan and the rival of Master Warthog, guardian of Wu.
He was one of the most relevant figures in the rebellion army which directly opposed the unification of China. Their main aim was to bring the old system back.
The rebel army was composed of many rouge prices, leaders, commanders and other people who were opposed with Tai Lung and his ambition of one China. Previous enemies band together under one banner to fight back against the force that was shaping China into a new era.
"Why can't you give me a single good news for once!! Its because you were all ex-soldiers of fucking Wu!! Useless!!!" He raged.
Every day, the news he would get became worse and worse. It started when Tai Lung came out victorious instead of dying in a foreign Empire liked they hoped and now he was getting news about thier consecutive defeat because of the Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior.
They had joined the war for some reasons and they were destroying everything the rebels had planned.
Not only that, he was getting news about the previous guardians of different kingdoms joining the civil war. If that were to happen, thier future would become just as bleak if Tai Lung had been in China.
"Why is the Jade Palace of all faction, involving themselves in this!! I thought they promised to be neutral!" Wang asked.
"Umm, Sir, our troops raided the villages in the North and Central region." One of the soldiers replied meekly.
"Why in the heavens would you do that?!"
"Sir we were running out of resources, and you said use any means necessary to get more."
"And your best idea was to raid a village?"
"Sir, we thought that since the new Emeperor abolished the Codes of War, it would be okay if we-"
"Oh, Oogways fucking shell!!! I swear you guys are denser than Master Gorilla's thick skull. Do I really have to spell each instruction to you in detail? Why can't you just use your common sense and think for ones? Have you all no competence?"
"They abolished the codes of war because virtually the entirety of China is under them now. And they had a new constitution. It did not mean that they were okay with crimes. We just gave them the moral high ground and a solid reason to abolish us without an ounce of mercy." Wang said before he slumped down in his seat with a sigh.
They were currently in one of the rebel army headquarters located in the mountains of the North. The camp was nestled in geographical cradle surrounded by humongous mountains that acted like a natural wall of protection.
It was truly the perfect location.
"Leave, all of you." Wang said and the soldiers and females - who were there for his relief during the stressful times - left.
Wang rubbed between his eyes and picked up his thoughts in silence. For a moment, he considered giving up. Everything was too tiring and he no longer saw a way for them to achieve victory.
He capntemplated deeply in the silence but he was not left alone even for an hour as a soldier barged inside his tent.
"God danmit! What is it this time?"
It was more bad news.
"Sir, our base is under attack!!"
"What? By who?" Wang asked and he quickly got up.
"W-We don't know sir! Its an unknown intruder!!" The soldier said and right then, a green flash wahed over the world outside and it could be seen even through the fabric of the tent.
Wang felt a sense of dread wash over him with the green light. Instincts honed to fight now told him to run. His legs pushed him up and he went outside the tent immediately.
What greeted him was utter chaos as soldiers and workers ran around to save their lives. He still did not know exactly what was happening since the fighting took place far away. But be had a clue.
The camp itself was quite big. It was bigger than most kingdom barracks. Which made it impossible for them to fall quickly and also prevented him from accessing the situation.
He looked at the distance, specifically at the two giant mountain which had an iron bridge connecting them. It was thier main line of defence and the soldiers were position with a strategic aim. The pattern of thier placemnt made it so that no one would able to easily come pass it.
Not even the army of the unified Empire.
"Find out who is attacking us. And not to worry, surely they will not pass our-" His words got stuck in his throat when he saw green blades with chains wrap themselves around the mountains.
The two tall mountains thought to be impenetrable shook violently as the blade circled around them, chipping away at thier peak. The wepons came alive and carved out a line on the mountains.
The violent sound of chains and blades drilling through the mountain was heard as everyone paused to witness the scene.
Then a loud explosion rang out and someone shot to the sky. It was the owner of the weapon and with a tug, he ripped the mountain off and carried them to the sky.
.
.
.
"impossible."
The mountain crumbled and a landslide buried most of the soldiers and destroyed the camp. The two gigantic pieces of mountain wrapped in chains also fell to the earth. The person who ripped the mountain used them as wrecking balls to destroy the entire camp.
The scene was an impossible feat of strength and power. It seemed to stun even the world itself.
In just few actions, the natural protection they had put their faith on was destroyed. The mountains crashed at the power of the being and nature lost. The owner of the weapon had reshaped the earth.
A huge outburst of force and sound silenced the camp and then dust raised up like a fog. Wang could not even see properly.
But then he saw him.
Two green robes, eyes, that pierced through the dust and stared straight at his soul. The intruder spun his chain with green baldes at the end while he slowly approached him. The blade created a spark on the ground with each interval.
When the dust settled, it revealed a bull with green eyes and a jade pendant decorating his body. Wang felt fear unlike he had ever felt before. He truly believed at that moment, he was standing in front of someone mightier than Tai Lung.
"I would've knocked but you didn't have a door." said the intruder. His voice became the only sound. Wang felt that evwn his heart had stopped beating.
"Sorry about the mess but people not recognizing me had been passing me off and it's been a long time since I let lose in the mortal realm. it's not a good impression to my soon-to-be ally."
Wang analyzed his sentence and got stuck on one word.
"Ally?"
"Hmm, more like subordination but sure."
"Why?" Wang asked, puzzled.
"Had my sayings been forgotten too?" The bull of jade said, "The enemy of my enemy, is my friend."
