Modern Traveler

Chapter 142: Chapter 142. Racist

"Morning, boss. Here's the jewelry." I looked at the box and saw what was inside. The box contained many smaller boxes, some holding pairs of necklaces and others containing a single ring or piece of jewelry.

"Sali, this is Hoon and Hyung. Hyung, Hoon, she's my secretary. Sali, Hoon will guide you when you visit different places in Korea, and Hyung will be the driver," I explained.

"Give them your number, Hoon, so they can contact you later. Let me borrow them first, Sali. After that, you can explore the place."

"Noted, boss."

"Let's go. Can you please help us bring these two big boxes?" I looked at the four hotel staff members. They tried to carry them, but they were too heavy and needed a trolley. Two staff members quickly came down to bring trolleys.

When they arrived, they attempted to lift the boxes but still couldn't move them.

"Let me help. You guys need to eat more," I said as I grabbed the center of the box and lifted it effortlessly, as if it were just a bottle of water. I did the same with the other box.

"What the?!"

"Are you a bodybuilder?!" The staff was shocked, and even Sali, Hyung, and Hoon couldn't believe their eyes. I lifted the other box with ease.

"Done. Let's go, Sali. Contact me if you need something, okay? I'll be going now. Bye."

"Okay, boss. See you," Sali replied.

"Thank you, sir," said one of the stewardesses.

We took the elevator down. After that, I lifted the boxes again to put them in the car. I told Hyung to drop me off at JYP headquarters.

Hyung drove for a while, and after a few minutes, we arrived at JYP's location. I carried the two boxes myself and placed them near the entrance of the building. Hyung and Hoon apologized for not being able to help me carry them. I told them it was fine and that they could go.

They nodded and said goodbye. I stood alone in front of the building, scrolling through my phone to call JYP. Before I could, a security guard approached me.

"Sir, you shouldn't block the entrance. Can you move these boxes?" he said disdainfully. When he saw Neo, he became irritated.

"Just wait a moment. I'm calling someone to bring them inside. They're not in the way; they're already to the side," I replied.

"That's the policy of the building. Homeless people shouldn't be allowed to stay here," the guard smirked.

"I told you to wait a moment. I'm going to call someone to take them inside. If you insist, why don't you move them yourself?" I challenged him.

"Once I move that thing, it will end up in the trash can," he said.

"Try it," I encouraged him.

"Heh, fool. You think you're in America? Fine, I'll throw it myself," he said as he walked over to the boxes and tried to lift one, but it wouldn't budge. He kicked it, but that did nothing.

"What the hell is inside? Is there a bomb in there? I'm calling the police!" he said, embarrassed and trying to accuse me of something.

"What's going on here?" a girl's voice interrupted the guard.

When he saw a group of girls walking toward the building, his smile grew wider. "Ah, this person is disturbing the building by placing this heavy box near the entrance. I can't lift it, so I'm suspecting him."

"It's not even in the entrance. Just let him be," another girl said.

"That's the protocol, ma'am," he said pitifully.

"I told you to wait a moment. I'll call someone to bring these boxes inside. But you keep saying I'm homeless and even accused me of bringing a bomb." I responded.

"Hmm? Isn't that Neo?" Jihyo said. As they listened to the familiar voice, the girls began to recognize me. When Jihyo saw me, she immediately recognized who I was.

"Hello, Sir Neo. Let me call Director JYP," she said, looking at her friends and assigning someone to fetch the director so he could meet Neo personally.

"Yy. Do you know him, Miss Jihyo?" the guard asked nervously.

"Being racist is not good. Now I don't know what will happen to you," Jihyo replied.

"Can't you be a decent person? Why hate another race? Is it because he's handsome that you're irritated?" Momo chimed in.

"Sir Neo, let's go inside. It's quite hot out here," Sana suggested.

"I can't leave that box; it's full of jewelry," I pointed at the box.

"Okay, we'll wait here for the director to arrive. May I ask, why didn't you inform the director that you would be coming today?" Dahyun inquired.

"I forgot, hahaha. I was with So-Hee last night, which is why I forgot. You know I'm quite busy looking for beautiful girls, hehe," I admitted.

"You sure are a playboy, Sir Neo. So, who's your girlfriend currently in Korea?" Jihyo asked, taking this opportunity to learn more about him.

"Hmm, let me see. Yeji, So-Hee, Suzy, and Kyo. I have four girlfriends in Korea right now."

"That's fast! Being so mysterious certainly works to your advantage," Tzuyu noted.

"Would their parents agree? Asian customs are quite different from Western ones," Sana remarked.

"I've already met Suzy and Kyo's families. They're fine with it. Even in our culture, this kind of relationship is uncommon. It's more typical in the Middle East."

"Good for you, then. Are you a Muslim?" Jihyo asked.

"Not really. I'm just someone who is greedy. When I like someone, I want to be with them," I explained.

"But what if they like you but can't accept this kind of shared relationship? What would you do?" Jihyo pressed.

"That's a good question but easy in a way. If she demanded that I break up with my other girlfriends just to be with her, the answer would be no. I'd rather let her go than break the hearts of my other girlfriends."

"You're good at answering, Sir Neo. How about this: for example, she accepts this kind of relationship, but in the middle of it, she realizes she doesn't want to share. What would you do?" Jihyo asked again.

"You know, all my girlfriends right now aren't restricted at all. They can do anything they want. But someday, when the time comes and they get tired of this relationship, they can leave me. I won't force them to stay. But that won't happen because I knew how much they love me hehehe and I'm always paying attention to them even though I'm here in Korea."

"Hm, hm. And how about favoritism? Do you love one more than the others?" Jihyo inquired more.

"Are you interested in Neo, Jihyo? You keep asking personal questions," Momo remarked, giving Jihyo a knowing look.

"Yeah, you keep asking about his relationships. I also noticed it when we signed the contract with Sir Neo; you kept looking at him. I bet you have saved pictures of him," Sana added teasingly.

"Hahaha, don't embarrass Miss Jihyo. To answer your question, I don't have a favorite. They all have their unique charms. And they have different tastes, if you know what I mean," I laughed after saying it.

"Now you know, Jihyo? What would your taste be like?" Nayeon asked, trying to make Jihyo feel embarrassed.

"Shut it, Nayeon," Jihyo replied.

"You look similar to Chaeryeong. Are you her sister?" I asked.

"I'm Chaeyoung; Chaeryeong is my sister," she clarified.

"Oh, that's why. Nice to meet you, Chaeyoung. Sorry if I only know some of you," I said.

"I know. You knew Jihyo, Momo, and Sana, right?" Nayeon teased.

"How did you know?" I asked curiously.

"Because these are the most beautiful in the group. You only know beautiful women, Neo," Nayeon laughed.

"Don't expose me. I'm quite shy, you know?"
