Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure

Chapter 26: Elevation to Viscount

After the explosion, the armor was finally destroyed, and Luxion seemed to radiate a certain sense of satisfaction from having achieved his goal, despite being an AI.

"I must be feeling what humans call pleasure right now. It was worth it," he said in a cheerful voice.

At that moment, the debris nearby began to shift, and soon Leon emerged from the wreckage, coughing and brushing off the dust from his clothes.

"Your 'pleasure' nearly cost me my life! And you destroyed Cleare! Damn you, robot!" Leon said angrily, striking the sphere.

Luxion, unfazed by the blow, calmly replied:

"There's no need to exaggerate. From the start, my calculations ensured that you would be fine. Additionally, I entrusted your protection to Cleare in advance. As for her, she is safe. Her memory and all her data are stored with me—I can restore her into a similar sphere and reassign her to her duties."

Hearing this, Leon waved dismissively, annoyed.

"It's so easy for you to talk about replacing someone... But fine, whatever. You AI are impossible to understand. Let's just get out of here. Although, of course, now I'll have to explain everything to both the locals and the kingdom. Thanks to you, it'll be even harder. And I'll have to deal with all the paperwork! Happy now?"

"Happy to help," Luxion replied sarcastically, clearly hinting that he found joy in making Leon work.

"Ugh, fine. Let's go already."

What followed was a process of explaining the situation to the local elves. Leon had to clarify what had happened while simultaneously detaining the elders from various villages on the island, as they were all connected to the laboratory. At first, the locals were displeased with Leon's actions, especially since he had acted without explaining anything. However, once he pulled out a tablet and showed footage from inside the ruins—along with testimony from one of the elves about the experiments conducted on kidnapped humans and elves alike—their anger subsided. Instead, the villagers began celebrating, knowing that such scoundrels would likely face execution for treason or for preparing a rebellion.

Leon had to stay on the island for a few days, waiting for the legal authorities to arrive so he could hand over the detainees.

During this time, he noticed an elf woman who immediately caught the second one's attention.

"Wow, that's Yumeria!" he said, analyzing her.

The first one, noticing his reaction, asked:

"You know her?"

"Yeah, I do. She'll be a servant in our household in the future. Her son, by the way, is that elf standing next to the heroine in the game," the second replied.

"Wait, seriously?" the first asked in shock. "I didn't see her in the game. Hold on, our servant?" He began analyzing her appearance. "Aside from her elven beauty, she stands out with... two—no, four massive plot points: two on top and two below. Especially below! Would mother even allow her in the house? Look at her figure! Father would fall for her immediately. Barcus prefers women with round hips, and hers are the roundest I've ever seen!"

"Exactly. But I don't recall him ever getting close to her. Mother probably kept him under control," the second said.

Hearing this, the first let out a relieved sigh. Then he asked another question.

"So what now? Do we take her early?"

The second stroked his chin thoughtfully for a moment before replying:

"Yes, we'll take her early. But not now. Let's wait until her son is bought. If we act too soon, I'm sure something important will change in the future."

"Wow, I didn't expect to hear that from you," the first said with surprise. "You've already made some pretty major changes to the future."

"Never mind that. Let's focus on waiting," the second replied.

Before long, the authorities arrived, and with them came an unexpected visitor—a messenger from the royal family. He handed Leon a letter of congratulations.

Opening the letter, Leon read:
