Chapter 265: Outlook on the Numerous Heavens (Part 2)
"The Goddess of Destiny?"
"Hedel, you guessed quite accurately," the Goddess of Destiny chuckled. "What's the matter? Are you surprised?"
"Yes," Hedel spoke. "I didn't expect that even when my Power of Soul is at such a peak, you would still be able to lock onto my coordinates. The power of destiny is truly astonishing."
"Oh, don't worry, I'm just pulling some strings for someone, I won't pry into your privacy, and besides... you know, I am not interested in those things."
Hedel nodded, "Then who wishes to see me?"
"It's me." The Netherworld God entered into the realm's view, looking coldly at the Demon King opposite him. "Are you aware of the All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds?"
"All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds?" Hedel asked in confusion. "What is that place?"
"That is a flourishing age several magnitudes vaster than the Star Sea."
"Is that so? Well, you put it like that, I am indeed very interested. But I wonder, Netherworld God, what are your terms?"
"There are no terms. The Myriads of Worlds are too vast for me to occupy, and moreover, many souls from my Netherworld have been stolen by your Hell..."
Although the Netherworld God did not finish his sentence, Hedel understood the implications and smiled. "I have used some, but the rest, I can return to you."
"Good. The day you return the souls of the Netherworld to me will be the day I give you the coordinates."
Just as the Netherworld God was about to close the realm's view, Hedel stopped him. "Netherworld God, I have one more question."
The Netherworld God looked up and said, "Speak."
"My Demon Clan wishes to leave Hell, but the conditions are harsh. Even if we want to roam the Star Sea, we must project Hell into it. These All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds lie beyond the Star Sea, and I fear..."
Irritated with Hedel's question, the Netherworld God replied, "Are you stupid? Just carry the entirety of Hell to the Myriads of Worlds, can't you?"
"Er..." Hedel was somewhat speechless, but on second thought, wasn't what the Netherworld God said correct? He did have the power, and he could easily carry the plane of Hell out of the abyss. But who would do such a thing?
"I understand," Hedel nodded. Even if he were to move, he would need to first explore these All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds before discussing relocation.
As the realm's view closed, Hedel summoned a Shadow Demon and asked, "Do you know about these All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds?"
The Shadow Demon was startled: "Demon King, why do you suddenly ask about this?"
"Tell me what kind of place it is."
"Well..." The Shadow Demon hesitated but eventually spoke up: "The All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds, as the name suggests, contains tens of thousands of worlds within it. Although each world varies in size, most of them are not much different from the Star Sea, and they are tremendously resource-rich. Countless races thrive and expand within them. Even the top Heavenly Gods are unable to explore the ends of these Heavens. The worlds already discovered have been artificially divided into Nine Domains and Eighteen Realms. Within each Domain, there are at least a thousand worlds roughly equivalent to the Star Sea. As for each Realm, it contains at least two hundred worlds. Powerful tribes occupy a Domain, with billions of members under their rule, and numerous Heavenly Gods among them. Some even have Sky Domain Gods presiding over the universe."
Listening to the Shadow Demon's description, Hedel's eyes narrowed slightly as he smiled, "You seem to be quite familiar with these All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds."
"Heh, I won't hide it from you, Demon King. From my inception, I fled to the Myriads of Worlds and established my own power there."
"Oh? You always like to hide and keep secrets, and yet you have your own power?"
"Yes, I created the Shadow Demon Clan, named after myself," the Shadow Demon candidly admitted. "And tens of thousands of years ago, I organized a large army to attack the Star Sea. Unfortunately, I was repelled at the gates of the Star Sea by two mysterious Heavenly Gods and could never breach it."
"Why? Do you also want to occupy the Star Sea?"
The Shadow Demon shook his head, "I only want to destroy the Star Sea."
To the Demon's words, Demon King Hedel was not at all surprised, and patted the Demon's shoulder, saying, "From now on, don't think about such things. The Star Sea is the homeland of us Hell Demons after all, and I don't wish to see it destroyed."
"Yes," the Demon responded and then faded away, disappearing from sight.
In fact, it wasn't that the Demon didn't want to conceal things; it was simply impossible to hide anything in the presence of the Demon King.
Having obtained Akanon's Power of Soul, and combined with the Power of Soul the Demon King himself possessed, Hedel's Divine Soul power now far surpassed the gods of the Heavenly Domain level, indicating that only gods who had reached the Heavenly Domain level could possibly lie to him without being detected. Below the Heavenly Domain, any lie would be perceived by Hedel due to the fluctuations of the soul.
Of course, being undetected in the Heavenly Domain was only a possibility, merely a possibility.
The Demon admitted that he was no match for the Hell Demon King and thus had no choice but to disclose everything.
After understanding the affairs concerning All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds, Demon King Hedel fell into deep thought.
Upon realizing the existence of worlds a trillion times larger than the Star Sea, he suddenly lost interest in the Star Sea. What was the point of endlessly vying for such a tiny place?
The Demon had said earlier that those who controlled a realm were merely the gods of the Heavenly Domain level, merely so!
He was also of the Heavenly Domain, but others had at least three thousand Star Seas in their grip while he had what?
All were gods of the Heavenly Domain, so why such a disparity?
No, damn it, he had to step out of the Star Sea and launch a conquest against All Heavens!
With this in mind... he would first set a minor goal, to take down two realms!
But then again, since the Demon also knew of All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds, did he still need the coordinates provided by the Netherworld God?
After pondering for a while, Hedel still decided to owe this favor to the Netherworld God. After all, Myriads of Worlds was vast, and he probably wouldn't be able to conquer it all at once; perhaps the demon and the netherworld could support each other.
With Lu Hong entering the ancient roads of All Heavens, the Netherworld God also learned of the existence of these ancient roads through a strand of Divine Soul left on him, thereby informing the Demon King about it. Now, the two strongest forces in the Star Sea, or rather the highest combat powers, had been lured out by Lu Hong without even needing him to persuade them. These two forces decided to enter the ancient roads to compete with myriad tribes for domination!
But that's another story. Let's return to Lu Hong. After leaving the portals of the San Guang Plane, Lu Hong also encountered many from other worlds who were heading to the Heng Realm. Among them were prodigies and plenty of Scavengers.
Compared to those prodigies, Lu Hong preferred to befriend these Scavengers.
From these Scavengers, Lu Hong came to understand the division of the Nine Domains and Eighteen Realms.
The Star Sea was part of one of the Nine Domains, the Heng Realm. The largest BOSS of the Heng Realm was the Demon Clan, but they hadn't occupied the entire Heng Realm, and many other worlds were jointly resisting their invasion. This had led to the main forces of the Demons being tied down and many Heavenly God powerhouses being constrained, which was key to the survival of the Star Sea.
However, according to the intelligence analyzed by the Scavengers, it was probably only a matter of time before those worlds fell.
This Demon Clan, stretching across the Heng and Lian Realms, possessed immense power, derived from the bug-like nature of their race. Unless the Heavenly Gods intervened, this Demon Clan was virtually invincible.
Beyond the Heng and Lian Realms, the other seven were the Zong Realm, Guang Realm, Sky Domain, Di Realm, Jing Realm, Zang Realm, and Gui Realm.
The Zang and Gui Realms were particularly bizarre, containing no Spiritual Energy but only a chilling ghostly energy. Thus, these two realms remained mysterious to most, for without Spiritual Energy to replenish their magic, almost no one could delve deeply into these realms.
And among these Nine Domains, the largest was the Sky Domain, accommodating five thousand worlds, controlled by two powerful families: the Dukeesa family and the Tian Sheng family. The latter was a step ahead, not only occupying half of the Sky Domain but also dominating much of the Di Realm. They were the most powerful family among all the realms and worlds.
As for the Zi Ji World that Lu Hong had previously offended… it was a bit weaker, so let's not dwell on that.
But to give credit where it's due, that Zi Long was indeed one of the more well-known prodigies under these heavens. As long as he did not fall, he would inevitably reach the Divine Shattering level, ascend to the Di Domain, and become the next elder ancestor of the Zi Ji World.
As Lu Hong was chatting with the Scavengers, two strangers approached the table where he was seated and tossed a bag of Yuan Currency, saying, "My young master has taken a fancy to this spot, so you'd better clear out quickly!"
The Scavenger was initially stunned, then hurriedly scrambled to smile and said, "Look at what you're saying, sir. If you had set your eyes on this spot earlier, I would have gladly given it up. How could I dare to make you pay?"
