MMORPG: War God, You are Invincible Again

Chapter 245 Searching for Danni

The War God was astonished that the supposedly sturdy iron clump shattered upon contact, when Lu Hong's furious roar echoed from the wreckage of the warship, "You damn thing, didn't you hear what I just said?!"

"I didn't know," the War God said, looking rather aggrieved. "I just smelled your scent and got overexcited. I heard you sent those three Lionheart guys back to the Era of the Gods, why didn't you send me too?"

Eferot was puzzled by the War God's straightforward words, "Um, could you explain why he's saying you sent Lionheart back?"

Lu Hong ignored Eferot and solemnly asked the War God, "Do you have the kind of skill that makes people temporarily lose their memory?"

Seeing the War God shake his head, Lu Hong looked at Eferot sympathetically, then ordered, "Go easy on him, don't kill him."

Sensing something was wrong, Eferot backed away repeatedly, "Hey, let's talk this out, no need to get physical, oh shit! Are you crazy, Eferot? You want a Heavenly God to strike me down?!"

With a miserable scream, Eferot was nearly flattened.

After ensuring Eferot was not in mortal danger, Lu Hong couldn't help but sigh, "War God, you talk too much. If you hadn't misspoken, would he need to suffer like this?"

"I was just anxious. I was afraid you'd forget about me."

"How could I possibly forget you!" Lu Hong laughed heartily, thinking to himself, "Shit! I actually did forget about this guy!"

Although it was Lu Hong's inner confession, lies are easily spotted in front of a Heavenly God; the War God stared at Lu Hong doubtfully, "You didn't actually forget about me, did you?"

"Hey, let's not talk about that now. Did you find the person I wanted you to find?" Lu Hong quickly changed the subject, knowing this conversation could expose him.

"I found a clue," the War God nodded. "But I'm not entirely sure, because the thing you gave me is quite old, and the lingering aura is very faint."

"Really? A clue?!" Lu Hong grew anxious. "Quick, tell me, where did you find it?"

"At the entrance to a minor world," the War God said. "It's a very remote plane entrance; I didn't dare enter because I sensed a threat of death. It seems to have strong restrictions for beings from the Heavenly God Realm; any Heavenly God entering would undoubtedly die."

"Is there really such a place?!" Lu Hong was skeptical. "How have I never heard of it?"

"If you don't believe me, I'll take you there," the War God said, dissatisfied with Lu Hong's doubt. "But we agreed, after this you need to send me back. I kind of miss my wife."

Having encountered a powerful Hell Demon, the War God had lost faith in his own strength and didn't want to senselessly die in this unfamiliar world.

"Alright, I'll figure out a way to send you back sooner," Lu Hong told the War God after some thought. Now that the goddess of fate had betrayed him, he didn't know if she would help him again, or ignore him as that damn woman might.

"So, shall we go now?"

"Not so fast; we need to settle him down first, right?"

Saying this, Lu Hong picked up the unconscious Eferot and jumped onto the War God's back.

Led by the War God, the three quickly arrived at the Starry Alliance.

Familiar with the place, Lu Hong knocked on the door of the Frogo residence.

"Who is it? Huh?!" Feeling the aura of the person outside, Frogo was slightly disbelieving. Opening the front door, he burst into laughter, "Little brother, I knew it—you definitely didn't die!"

"Come, come, I'll treat you to some good wine." Saying this, he pulled Lu Hong and the others inside.

Placing Eferot on the sofa, Lu Hong took a glass of fine wine passed by Frogo, and then handed it to the War God.

Seeing this, Frogo poured another glass and handed it to Lu Hong, "What brings you to me so suddenly?"

"Take care of him for me." Lu Hong pointed to the still unconscious Eferot and said, "He's Tai'e's son, pretty much my half-brother."

"Heh." Frogo somewhat complained, "You treat my place like a shelter, huh? Last time a woman, now a man. What's next, you'll want me to take in this dog too?"

Before Frogo could finish, Lu Hong got nervous, "You already know?"

"Nonsense, anyone above the earthly realm can see the essence of the soul."

"And you kept criticizing me before?"

"I thought I was testing you. Wrapped in a Heavenly God's guise, how could I know if your initial motives had changed." Frogo laughed heartily. "Besides, it's satisfying to scold you righteously."

Speechless, Lu Hong gave Frogo a look and then asked, "So, will you help?"

"Help, but I'm very curious, how do you switch bodies back and forth, and can you switch back to War God's body later?"

"No, I can't. War God has already returned to the Era of the Gods, and I was tricked."

"Goddess of Fate?"

"Yes."

After getting Lu Hong's affirmative answer, Flogo seemed to understand everything, nodded, and then did not pursue the matter further.

After chatting for a while, Lu Hong stood up to take his leave, first finding Anna and spending a wonderful weekend with her, then following the guidance of the Dog God to the location where clues were found.

Heading toward the far north of the Death Belt, Lu Hong estimated he couldn't last more than three days without the protection of the Dog God, especially in the absolutely bone-chilling cold wind.

The further north they went, the harsher the cold wind became, and at last, even the Dog God was almost pushing against the cold wind to move forward.

After traveling for three months, the two finally reached their destination, an Eye of the North Wind.

"Is this the dimensional entrance you were talking about?" Lu Hong, now only at the Third Transition in strength and realm, couldn't quite grasp the details of this thing.

"If I say it is, it is. The person you're looking for is likely in the world inside this wind eye. You jump in, and if you can't find them, it's my fault."

"Well, what if I go in and can't find them or even if I do, how will I be able to get out?"

"I don't know about that." The Dog God shook his head. "Anyway, I can wait here for you to come out, but as for how to get out of this dimension inside, you'll have to figure it out yourself."

"This..."

The Dog God mentioned there were smaller worlds inside the wind eye, which probably wasn't false, but how to get out once inside was indeed a troubling thought.

Seeing Lu Hong hesitating to jump in, the Dog God impatiently said, "Are you going or not? If you're not going in, we're leaving. This wind is making my cheeks hurt."

Looking at the howling wind eye and thinking of Danni's incredibly beautiful face, Lu Hong gritted his teeth, "Let's do it!"

With that, he jumped into the wind eye.

As a result...due to the strong wind, Lu Hong was blown right back out.

Seeing this, the Dog God didn't waste words, and slapped Lu Hong on the back.

Accompanied by continuous cursing, Lu Hong fell into the wind eye.

Lu Hong, having breached the wind eye, truly traversed into a new dimension.

Like a cannonball, he was heavily flung into the mountainside in the wilderness.

Struck by the Dog God's slap, Lu Hong felt as if all his bones were about to shatter. Now embedded in the mountainside, he truly couldn't move at all.

"Dog God, I'm going to beat you up one day!"

While cursing, Lu Hong began to gather his Fighting Spirit to heal his shattered body.

It took him three full days to barely crawl out of the mountainside.

At that time, Lu Hong finally saw the vast, forgotten world around him.

The plants here were extraordinarily large; to give you an idea, even a common blade of grass was taller than Lu Hong by two heads. Off in the distance, a grazing dragon moved like a mobile hill.

At that moment, there was a slight sound from the bushes, and Lu Hong looked toward it, seeing eight young men slowly approaching the grazing dragon from under the cover of the bushes.

The eight young men worked together smoothly, with barely any communication, each blocking a position, trapping the grazing dragon in the middle.

As the lead man threw a blood-red spear, the grazing dragon was startled, letting out a howl and attempting to flee to one side.

But another young man was ready, his earth-yellow Fighting Spirit surging to form a sturdy shield blocking the grazing dragon's path.

The reckless grazing dragon charged straight ahead.

With a loud crash, the grazing dragon and the young man were both thrown backward.

Seeing the grazing dragon fall, the other seven men also swiftly brandished their weapons, slashing fiercely at their prey.
