MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1435: Myriad Prodigies: The Panel

"…Oh?"

Hearing that the tournament also served as a platform for them to showcase their talents, Valyr soon nodded in understanding.

Although he had obtained the support of the Mage Guild as Ataraxia, not all of the participants were fortunate enough to receive the support of a massive organization like a class guild.

For most of the participants in this tournament, the affiliation they registered themselves with for the tournament extended to small-scale organizations at most, with a lucky few among them being affiliated with medium and large-scale organizations.

Surprisingly, there were also those who registered themselves with organizations that only existed in name.

Of course, there were also those who registered themselves with no affiliation whatsoever, treading a path Valyr could've taken if he hadn't made the decision to affiliate himself with the guild his player identity created.

Nevertheless, all of these organizations still paled in comparison to the organizations that based themselves within Algerie Kingdom, all of them wielding a level of power and authority that extended far beyond the confines of the kingdom itself.

To many of these participants, becoming a part of such an organization would pretty much push them to the ranks of the elite in their respective circles, allowing them to step foot on a stage far larger than they ever imagined.

Because of that, almost everyone's expressions on the center area brightened the moment Schubert said those words, with many of them beginning to feel that their journey to the kingdom had been worth it.

Whilst most of the participants' minds continued to wonder what kind of organization they'd become a part of by the end of the tournament, the remaining portion focused their attention on the group of individuals that appeared.

'…Huh.' Looking at the small group of individuals from two different angles, a solemn expression soon appeared on both Valyr and Ataraxia's faces as he noticed that one of them matched the description Mystia had given them regarding Mystia.

However, just as he was about to continue scrutinizing each and every move that person made amidst the announcer's words, a certain individual soon came into their view, their appearance more than familiar to the two of them.

"What…"

"…Is he doing here?"

Feeling a sense of confusion as his gaze continued to linger on the person, Valyr eventually shifted his attention back to the announcer, whose current topic was about the individuals that appeared before them.

"Now that I've mentioned the other purpose of this tournament, the individuals standing before you could be considered the main arbiters of the tournament, as well as the people that would recruit you into their respective organizations after the tournament."

"First off, representing Algerie Kingdom's military is General Liam. As he is someone who made his way up the ranks through both effort and ingenuity, the general aims to recruit those who show both tenacity and wit during their fights."

At the moment Schubert was finished introducing the first person, a rugged individual in a neat military uniform stepped forward, sweeping his gaze over everyone on the center stage as he gave a firm nod.

"Next up, representing the various trade organizations and the Imperial Production Guild is Julian Pyrrhia. As the leader of this kingdom's Blacksmith Guild, Sir Julian has gained renown throughout the continent for his masterwork equipment."

"During this tournament, he aims to recruit those who showcase creativity in their fights, prioritizing those that either have a main class or a subclass related to the four main professions."

Hearing his name be called, Julian went ahead and stepped forward with a wide smile on his face, waving his hands as he briefly swept his gaze across the audience.

Then, shifting his attention onto the participants, the man also did a brief sweep, only for his gaze to briefly pause on a certain individual.

Seeing the man look at him with his eyes widened in disbelief, Valyr gave Julian a brief nod of acknowledgment as his expression indirectly told the latter to not attract more attention towards him.

Giving a faint nod in return, the man eventually finished his sweep and stepped back, only to then bring up a screen in front of him as Schubert moved onto the next individual.

"After Julian is the representative of the kingdom's combat organizations, Eliathaea Voyant."

Sporting a glare that instilled fear to those that looked back at her, the woman took a step forward and nodded, her seemingly mishmash set of armor glistening under the rays of the sun.

"For those whose combat skills rely on weapons, Eliathaea is the person you want to please," said the announcer. "As long as you show that you're giving it your all while you fight, there's a high chance she will recruit you into one of the kingdom's organizations."

"Of course, since there's a representative for the combat organizations, there's also a representative for the magic organizations."

Whoosh!

As those words left Schubert's mouth, the final individual in the group finally took a step forward, her appearance immediately causing many among the participants and the audience to be smitten.

Wearing a light layer of makeup on her face, the woman gave off the feeling as if she were the first rays of light that dictated the start of spring, complementing the pair of eyes she had that were the color of spring leaves.

With her black hair tied up into a low ponytail, she looked more like a friendly neighbor than someone who commanded the kingdom's magic organizations… if one were to exclude the fact that she wore a dark robe that seemed to be imbued with large amounts of mana.

"Erika Reveler Algerie," said Schubert, his words containing a hint of admiration. "The director of Algerie Kingdom's 7th Magic Tower."

"Although known by many as a sibling of the current king, Erika has shown immense talent in the field of magic, prompting even those from this kingdom's Mage Guild branch to acknowledge her abilities as a mage."

"Naturally, as a mage, she seeks those who showcase both composure and insight during the tournament. If you catch her eye, there's a high possibility you might become a part of the 7th Magic Tower yourself."

Just as these words left the announcer's mouth, Ataraxia began to look at Erika inquisitively, wondering what exactly about her caused Mystia to deem her as a spy.

However, in the midst of planning to subtly use an identification skill on her to obtain more information, the woman in question turned to look at him all of a sudden, staring at him straight in the eye.

…Only to then give him a slightly coquettish smile.
