Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva

Chapter 320 Dream of Glazed Glass's Afternoon Coffee

Jade Skirt, Northern Seventh District of Payin City.

The massive square well opened, and indicator lights along the inner walls flickered as a slender starship slowly made its way through the deep channel, entering the depths of the underground, finally landing on the underground starship platform.

In the busiest central area of the city, a high tower stood tall, with a unique maid café on its upper floors.

"Back here, anything you want to say?"

Lady Isabella sat by the window as usual, with her favorite coffee laid out in front of her, its faint aroma wafting around. Opposite her was Tilan, dressed in a light blue and white dress, with the same cold flame coffee as Lady Isabella in front of her, which occassionally revealed fine bubbles rolling up, giving off a lingering scent.

"I have many thoughts, but I don't know what to say," the girl said, sipping her coffee in small sips.

"That's fine, you don't need to force a summary. Just go with the flow," Lady Isabella said with a smile.

"On the contrary, it's me who has much to tell you, but I'm afraid the current Tilan might not want to listen, thinking I nag too much."

"Not at all," the girl shook her head, looking towards the lady, who seemed exactly the same as four years ago, without any change.

"I always remember the lessons you've taught me, Lady Isabella." She was actually very grateful to the lady before her, especially for helping her through those difficult times.

"To have a student as obedient and excellent as you is truly a teacher's fortune," Lady Isabella reminisced.

"I've taught many individuals, among them songstresses, especially during my tenure at 'Golden Flame Flower' Academy. Yulanduoja was one of my students back then."

"However, she wasn't as obedient as you, always rebellious, wanting to be different, and she caused quite a lot of trouble at the school."

After reminiscing for a while, Lady Isabella gradually moved on to the matter at hand.

"You'll be going to the 'Golden Flame Flower' Academy in the second half of the year, the federally ranked number one comprehensive university."

"Nearly all songstresses, upon being discovered, enter this academy to further their education. There they have the most complete songstress mentorship system, and even real songstresses serve as teachers for the younger generation."

"Beyond that, the academy also gathers top geniuses from various star domains. Every classmate you meet there, within their own star domain, is among the very best, the envy of many as the champions of the Winter Festival Competition. Half the students there have won this honor. With this, you should understand what kind of place it is."

"This top federal institution, undeniably at the core, has produced countless significant figures from the past and for the future," said Lady Isabella, reflecting upon the faces she had seen over the years.

"If you want to accomplish something in the future, whether it's changing some status quos, establishing a business alliance, or expanding your business as a songstress, you can begin to find future collaborators there."

"This might sound utilitarian, but I don't want you to suffer for this and regret later when you lack the necessary support."

"Unlike at Four-leaf Crystal, many songstresses in the federation stay in the Central Star Domain. There, you are not the only songstress, and you will face competition from other songstresses. Their personalities vary greatly, and they represent different people, regions, and even philosophies."

"As a songstress, your task is not only to improve yourself but also to establish a group with you at its core because in the future, you will face an increasing number of challenges, and it will be tough to accomplish them alone."

"Besides, you must be careful of someone trying to instill certain ideas in you," Mrs. Isabella said thoughtfully, her voice solemn.

"Songstresses have a great influence on ordinary people. For those ambitious individuals who can't convince the public themselves, they'll attempt to sway a songstress in some way, allowing her to serve as their mouthpiece and promote certain concepts and ideas."

"These methods involve a fair amount of psychological know-how, so try to diversify the sources of your information as much as possible and avoid having someone monopolize it."

"Oh, and don't fall in love during university."

Hearing this, Tilan blinked, a strange sensation emerging.

"I'm not that kind of love-crazy girl, am I?" she found it hard to imagine herself immersed in the state of being in love.

"You would probably lean towards rational thought, but not every songstress is like that. Some of them are naturally naive and simplistic in their personalities, easily falling into the state of being in love," Mrs. Isabella spoke of past cases.

"Songstresses in the throes of love will have more intense emotions and will create many touching songs. It's a double-edged sword, though, as if the relationship turns sour, they can become too heartbroken to continue their songstress career."

"That's why I advise you not to date during university. Focus on growing first, and when your mentality has matured in the future, then you can look for the right person."

"I haven't really thought about dating," the girl shook her head. She hadn't considered it, and although she had seen many couples in love, she always found it hard to understand that state.

In the meantime, Mrs. Isabella continued to advise Tilan on matters to be aware of in the Central Star Domain, such as handling media interviews, how to safely interact with large corporate groups, how to arrange her schedule, and so on.

"Your friends are also going to study in the Central Star Domain, right?" Mrs. Isabella recalled something.

"Yes," besides herself, Deloris, Efnie, Geyin, Yalian, and Yilin, were all going to study in the Central Star Domain, though they were each attending different institutions.

"Around 'Golden Flame Flower' Academy, there are quite a few universities close by, and with the advanced transportation, you could even dine together after class. It's always good to make more friends..."

"I didn't realize I was becoming chatty again," Mrs. Isabella stopped after speaking for some time.

"It's probably a professional habit, and now that you're going to the Central Star Domain, it might be years before you return. I always want to teach you all at once."

"Haste makes waste," she remarked with a sigh, putting down her coffee cup.

"As for advice and tips for the future, I'll leave it at that. Actually, I have a feeling that you don't need much advice anymore. Like a bird leaving the nest, you can already hunt and grow on your own."

"Nevertheless, thanks for the advice, Mrs. Isabella."

Tilan sincerely bowed her head in thanks. Ever since her parents passed away, there had been few elders who cared for her and considered her well-being like Mrs. Isabella, and it had been a long time since she felt such warmth, akin to her childhood days in her mother's arms, recounting happy and unhappy incidents from school.

Watching the black-haired girl who grew up before her eyes, whose blue eyes shed the past nervousness and became poised and beautiful, Mrs. Isabella felt much gratification in her heart.

Isn't that nice? Her past experiences had not trapped her or become weaknesses but instead allowed her to look at the world more clearly and equitably. Unlike those songstresses brought up in the Central Star Domain with their less varied experiences, whose visions of the world were overly perfect, making them lose the realistic flesh-and-blood essence, their songs drifted away from touching the lives of ordinary people.
