Chapter 10: Cursed Mobs
Blaze-Golem: Was there really any meaning to use a totem to test Herobrine's strength?
Alex: It wouldn't have been worthwhile to use a half-baked test. Anyways. I thought about your proposition. Your boss wants to reverse the conditions of mobs with Players? With Mobs being the ones who exist in peace in the overworld and players being the ones who are hunted?
Blaze-Golem: Yes. We mobs are the ones that are born in this game. We belong in this game, not these players who join from outside and take this world to be their property. Doing whatever they want. Killing whoever they want. We should be the ones who rule over this world.
Alex: Yet it's you who are being hunted.
Blaze-Golem: That's why we have come to you for help. What can we do to defeat these players?
Alex: If you want to win this war with the players, You need to complete two conditions.
Blaze-Golem: What?
Alex: 1. You need to take care of the Strongest player. You need to trap Steve so that he isn't able to stop your plans. 2. You need to have Herobrine and the player named "Player" on your side.
Blaze-Golem: Wait. Didn't he die? The Player I mean.
Alex: Oh. Did he though? I'm not so sure.
The blaze golem thinks for a moment.
Blaze-Golem: That Steve…Can't we just kill him if all of us fought him together?
Alex: You'll be killed. You can't fight him. It's better you put your energy into trying to capture him. Trap him. Seal him away.
Blaze-Golem: Seal? What do you have in mind?
Alex: The Nether.
Blaze-Golem: Oh. So you plan to seal him away in the nether? How will that work? He can always just create his own portal and come back, or someone else can free him.
Alex: I have my plan for that.
Blaze-Golem: Alex, in terms of Herobrine's Totems, how strong do you think I am?
Alex: Hmm? Probably like 8-9 totems.
Blaze-Golem: 8-9??? Alex, forget about sealing him. I will kill Steve myself.
Alex: Don't try to rush things Jogo. You can't kill him.
Jogo: Just wait and see.
Jujutsu Pros HQ:
Megumi: Jujutsu Pros Goodwill Event PvP Tournament. It's an event that happens each month, to test the skills of new players like us. There are 2 players responsible for training new members, Steve and Utahime. The players of the 2 teams fight each other in a PvP Tournament to decide whose team has been able to grow faster.
Panda: Usually Utahime's team wins. Steve is not known to be a great teacher. But Last year, Jesse alone defeated Utahime's entire team. Sadly he isn't here this month.
Maki: But we will beat them. So you two, you'd train with us. We'd practice close combat cus that might be the most important in this event. Try landing hits on us.
Megumi and Nobara begin train with Maki, Inumaki, and Panda for the Tournament.
Meanwhile, Steve takes Player to a hidden base.
Steve: So that's what this event is about. We will reveal to everyone you're alive on that day.
Player: Understood.
Steve: So I'll train you so that you are able to perform well in the event. You are quite good in close combat for your experience. It won't be difficult for you to be as strong as me.
Player: As strong as you? But they call you the strongest? Speaking of which I have a doubt.
Steve: Ask.
Player: They call you the strongest. But I thought Herobrine was called the strongest.
Steve: I am known as the current strongest player in the world. Herobrine, on the other hand, is known as the Strongest Entity ever.
Player: Just how strong was he?
Steve: There are many tales of Herobrine's strength. It is said no player managed to defeat him. If it weren't for the devs, the game wouldn't have survived. Even the 5 void generals together couldn't defeat him.
Player: Who?
Steve: The 5 void generals were considered the 5 strongest players in the Notch Era of Minecraft. Their strength was unparalleled. Herobrine killed them all and won the title of the strongest Entity. The king of Mobs. That was his 100% power.
Player: If Herobrine fought you at 100% power, what would happen?
Steve: If he were to gain all of his strength, it might give me some trouble.
Player: But would you lose?
Steve: Nah, I'd win.
Steve trains Player to fight mobs and players. Slowly slowly, Player becomes better at close combat fighting.
Player: Steve, I've heard about commands a lot. What are they? How do they work exactly?
Steve: Ah. Commands are when clear distinctions between players are created. In this server, when a player becomes strong, they are given the ability to use commands. The stronger a player gets, the more number and types of commands they can use. After a while, the skills of most players become equivalent. It's the commands then which then create the power difference.
Player: So without commands, I can't be the strongest?
Steve: In simple words, yes.
Player: Then train me how to use them.
Steve: You can't use commands.
Player: Eh?
Steve: Only the server can grant you commands. As of now, you can't use them.
Player: Aw. That sucks. I wanted to fly like you or spawn mobs like Megumi or something.
Steve: (While it's true that you can't use commands yet. But with Herobrine inside you, soon your account will be capable of using the commands he can use.)
They continuously train using mobs under Masamichi's control.
Steve: You continue your training. I'm going for some business.
Player: Alright.
Steve is going to meet Masamichi for a meeting. On the way, he is suddenly attacked by Jogo who attacks him from behind with a fire charge, but Steve dodges it.
Steve: What the hell are you?
Jogo then fires Lava at him from his side, covering the area in lava, making him think he killed him.
Jogo: Huh? That's it? That was too easy.
Steve: Who are you calling easy?
Steve appears behind him, unharmed.
Jogo: I'm glad you survived. It would have been too boring if you didn't.
Steve: (It's a mob. But it's…What kind of mob is he? A golem? A Blaze? And it can talk? What the hell is he? Is he like Herobrine? This guy is stronger than how strong Herobrine is currently.)
Jogo: What? Scared to see a mob like me?
Steve: Fascinated. I am not scared of anything.
Jogo: Oh. Let's see how long that lasts.
Jogo spawns 5 blazes and has them attack Steve. Steve easily dodges their attacks and kills them all with his sword. Jogo then rushes towards him and fires fire charges and Lava at him. He deflects the charges and dodges the lava.
Steve: Your attacks can't even touch me.
Suddenly the ground below Steve turns into Lava as he falls into it and is also surrounded by Lava from all sides.
Jogo: Huh. He was overestimated by these players. The strongest? He was too weak, just very proud. Obviously if a player like him is given the title of strongest they would be too proud to consider a real threat as a threat.
Steve: Again. I told you. Your attacks aren't doing anything to me, man.
Jogo looks behind in disbelief.
Jogo: Impossible. I saw you getting engulfed by the lava.
Steve: Oh that happened. I just have fire resistance.
Jogo: What??
Steve: Fire resistance. You know we players can use commands. You have large firepower, but it's useless against me. It's no real damage. Let me show you real damage.
He quickly sprints towards Jogo and before he can react, stabs him with his sword. He then kicks him away.
Jogo: (He's fast.)
Steve: That's not all we players can do.
He takes out a TNT, charges it up, and throws it at Jogo. Jogo gets hit by the explosion and is thrown away. Before he can get up Steve appears and stabs him with his sword again. He stabs and slashes him multiple times and throws him away.
Steve: Oh. I forgot. This might be a good lesson for him.
Steve instantly teleports to Player, grabs him, and teleports back to the fight.
Player: Eh?
Steve: Player, Look at him, he is a special mob. He looks like 2 mobs put together right?
Player: How the hell did I come here?
Steve: Oh, we teleported.
Player: Huh?
Jogo: (That's Herobrine's vessel. So he is alive.) Why did you bring him here? To shield yourself
Steve: No, he is just here to watch and learn.
Jogo: Bringing him might be a mistake. You might be hindering yourself.
Steve: Oh that won't be a problem. After all, you are weak.
Jogo is insulted by it.
Jogo: I am weak? I'll now show you my true power.
Jogo suddenly starts glitching.
Steve: (Oh. It's capable of doing that. Looks like it was the right decision to bring Player here.) Hey Player, drink this.
He hands him a fire resistance potion.
Player: Steve, he is glitching.
Steve: If I am right, he is about to create a glitched domain.
Player: What??
Steve: Drink the potion for now.
Player drinks it.
Suddenly the world around them starts glitching and everything around them sets on fire, the ground turns into Netherack, and lava starts flowing everywhere.
