As Zi xia was about say something,feeling the emotions of pity and sadness in her voice,Jiang Chen was feeling good,good for his predecessor,as someone in this whole world believed in him but he also felt his predecessor was really unlucky,he died without knowing someone cared for him,
Jiang Chen thought in his mind ' you were not alone predecessor,at least someone cares for you but what's the point of this care ,when you are dead ,so instead of you,I'll take it, don't worry ,I'll make sure not to go down your path of foolishness'
Feeling that he might be safe in here,he took a sigh and getting in one knee like a prince who is going to propose to a princess but he wasn't going to propose to her,he just took her hand in his hand,feeling the softness of her hand like it's a sponge,Jiang Chen felt good ,then he looked in Zi Zia's eyes which were staring at his hands holding her hand,Jiang thought 'is she angry ,nahh ,there is no reaction in her face ,may be stunned,yeah,but I need to continue,for my survival'
Jiang Chen looked in her eyes, with a smile and slightly pained eyes ,he said " Don't look at me with pity, I did everything I thought was right, this is just life and I don't regret anything even if there was consequences which lead too....." Jiang Chen's trembled slightly.
"But I don't believe everything is bad,at least I get to see you,I have always harbaourd a single regret in my life even when I was struggling,
Whenever I saw you in past,I....I. ...thought of apologizing to you for rejecting you in front of whole sect ,for disrespecting you but everytime I saw you,I thought you hated me ,I..I.... didn't have the guts or may be ,I ...did not want to....."
"Shh I understand..." Zi xia said with a smile.
Jiang Chen has shock filled face but soon he smiled and said " Even when I was dying,the only thought in my mind was of you,the regret I faced in my life,the wrong choice I made ,everything was related to you,I thought of you that much ,I think the god must have pitied me that they send me here to see you or am I dreaming or is it afterlife..."
At the end Jiang Chen was questioning himself ,whether this is all illusion.
"Wait..wait. ,what do you mean you were dying "
She said with a cold voice,tightly gripping Jiang Chen's hand ,
Jiang Chen hand started to pain but he kept his smile.
"Ahh I don't know how but when I was cooking a fish , suddenly a pain struck me,an agonizing pain,my body started to turn purple,it was hurtful but....."
"Wait how were you dying suddenly when we're just cooking??"
"Ahh because of the pull I ate before running from here,it was given by master so,I didn't think much about it" Jiang Chen said a pained smile.
"WHAAATTT ,THATT BITCHH....."
ZI xia's was loud as she yelled but thanks to many formations ,no sound was leaked.
"I can't believe it,she did it to her own disciple, this ..this.."even Zi xia was loss of words .
Jiang Chen seeing her reaction thought 'well it was given by master to heal my injuries but got replaced,ahh I don't know or I don't care'
"May be she didn't know it was poison pill"
Jiang Chen said with a small smile
"Even now you are defending her, are you that dumb" Zi xia said with narrowed eyes.
"No...no...no ,I 'm not defending her,I ...I...may be I was just hopeful,
I am sorry"Jiang Chen slightly bowed and said sorry.
Seeing his state ,she started to feel sorry for him and said "ok calm down,your mind is disturbed"
Jiang Chen took a deep breath and exhaled,calming his nerves, and asked "Elder,did you know ,I was coming here??"
Jiang Chen asked finally what was lingering in his mind,he has feeling ,she knew of his arrival.
"Ahh ....you see...yeaaahhh" Zi xia said,while avoiding looking in his eyes.
"How" Jiang Chen asked,he was genuinely curious ,how did she know.
She sighed and said" well some time ago ,a blue transparent board like thing suddenly appeared in my vision ,it asked what is it you desired,I thought about what it was,after using all my powers probing it,I didn't find anything, so I tried what it'd do ,I said my desires" Zi xia said evading Jiang Chen's eyes .
Jiang Chen's eyes were getting narrower as he listened to her,in his mind yelling 'System fucker,is it you, aren't you my system why can others see you and what the fuck " What is it you desired" are you having a god syndrome'
"So what did you say to that blue thing"
Jiang Chen asked to Zi xia,knowing he had to complete her desires,he was slightly nervous about her desires,as she is too powerfull,what can she not get .
And if it is something she can't get,I shouldn't even try....

Zi xia started saying while avoiding looking at his eyes.
