MHA: Sword God

Chapter 9: Quirk Arena

U.A. High School

It is a prestigious school and the best choice for students who want to be heroes.

But the most important thing was that both the No. 1 and No. 2 heroes in the Japanese Heroes rankings were the alumni of this school.

So, if you want to become a great hero, graduating from U.A is recognized as a prerequisite.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ken sat on the sofa of the villa alone. His right hand tapped the table made of high-grade red wood making a rhythmic sound.

He didn't want to be a Hero, and he didn't want to enter U.A High School, the cradle of the next generation of top Heroes.

However, facing his uncle's single-handed decision, Ken couldn't say anything to refuse.

In the past few years, Ken was not sent to junior high school because of his illness.

But in recent years, Ken's health had improved.

If it weren't for his lack of quirk, his uncle would have sent him into school a long time ago.

At this moment, Ken actually awakened the quirk. .

For his uncle, going to school might be a natural process, but Ken regarded it as irritable and an annoyance.

Ken could refuse but thinking of his uncle and aunt's treatment towards him in recent years, he closed his mouth.

In a sense, attending U.A High school is a symbol of glory.

If he enters U.A. High School, his uncle and aunt will be very proud and happy.

Should he follow his uncle's arrangement and violate his heart or disobey his uncle and follow his heart?

These two thoughts were intertwined in his heart, and Ken fell into deep thought for a while.

After several hours of deliberation to no avail, Ken gave up, and went straight back to the bedroom.

He took out a black robe, and sneaked out of the cellar quietly.

The night in the city was prosperous, with neon lights and moonlight complenting each other, reflecting a different style.

Ken was shrouded in a black robe, and only a pair of eyes could be seen. He walked leisurely on the street.

In this world, there are many strange things, many people are inhuman, and it is common to not want to be seen, so few people paid attention to Ken.

Ken walked along a long street until he came to the side of an ordinary-looking tall building, and then he slowly stopped.

At the entrance of the high-rise building, there were two black-clothed security guards wearing sunglasses. They stood indifferently at the door

"Please show your identity."

Two people who looked like a couple were slightly puzzled.

They looked at the two security guards at the door, and said, "What identity?"

The security guard did not speak, as if he was not surprised.

He still had a cold expression on his face, making the eyes of the two little lovers twitch.

"Who are these people? They are not letting us in?"

"At first glance, it is a shopping mall, so why not let us come in?"

...

Ken shook his head slightly. When passing by the two little lovers who were still chattering, he quietly explained, "The so-called identity is only for people like you who are not qualified."

As soon as the words fell, the two young lovers flushed red.

They looked at Ken's back, and they were about to yell at him.

However, after only a moment, the two of them saw that the two previously indifferent security guards actually bowed respectfully.

They even had a flattering smile on their face, and they said in unison, "Welcome, number seven!"

Ken ignored the two security guards.

Instead, he waved his hand to the back, as if saying, "This is the identity."

Walking into the building, Ken seemed invisible.

He walked ten steps and covered the same distance that a security guard would walk in a hundred steps.

However, he faintly heard some inhaling sounds.

"That's number seven. He's been here for a long time. He has won ninety-eight times and tied six times. He has never failed even once. Some people call him an invincible person."

"He is mysterious and terrifying. Blood will be seen when he takes action."

"So, that's number seven. No wonder I felt chilly when he passed by, and cold sweat dripped behind my back."

"So, my image is like this in other people's eyes." Ken groaned slightly in his heart.

Before long, Ken passed through the barriers and took out a golden sign and passed through a black iron gate.

The environment suddenly changed.

He felt like he had walked into a sports stadium.

Cheers, shouts, and even squabbling and roars suddenly rushed like waves.

"Victory, Mad Bull has won the sixth time tonight, let us cheer for him."

Accompanied by the voice of a host, the atmosphere of the entire conference suddenly rose to a climax.

More intense cheers and shouts sounded drowning the sound of a few curses and crying.

On the center stage, a man with a naked upper body, a cow head, and a pair of thick black horns slapped his chest with excitement, making the atmosphere of the conference even more intense.

This was the place where the quirk duel was commenced.
