Chapter 7: First Day in UA(2)

I called out to them as I approached them, so as not to get caught in the crossfire.

"Hey, guys, I don't think starting a fight is a good idea here." I said, raising my hands to my shoulders to defuse the situation.

"Huh?! Who the hell are you?" He even calmed down a little by the end.

"I'm a fellow first year from Class 1-A." I smiled, pointing behind me. "In case you didn't know, there are cameras all over the hallways. UA takes great care of bullying and fights between students."

"Tsk!" He let go of the green-haired boy's uniform and hunched over like a typical bully as he entered the classroom.

"Are you okay?" I walked up to him, offering my hand.

He quickly straightened his uniform and shook his hand in return.

"Everything is fine. You don't have to worry, we are acquaintances. Kacchan just has a bit of a sharp personality."

"I see." I said, without breaking the handshake. "Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Mashiro Mineta."

"Ahh! I-I'm Izuku Midoriya! N-nice to meet you!"

'Now that basic courtesies are out of the way, I can try out my system/quirk's new function...'

Someone touched my forearm from behind, but I didn't pay it much mind.

[ Copying started... Quirk: One For All... ]

A small spark passed, but my smile quickly turned into a pained grimace.

My palm instantly heated up to incredibly high temperatures, and before I could even scream, I immediately lost all feeling in my hand.

A moment later, I was literally shot in the opposite direction, but I was still holding Midoriya, and collided with something soft from behind, falling down and quickly starting to roll towards the distant wall of the corridor.

If it weren't for the twisting during the sliding process, the contact with the wall would have been painful. During the collision with the wall, I took most of the damage due to my larger body build.

But it didn't end there, because the copied quirk itself lasted for 3 seconds...

As soon as the unbearable heat began to spread up from my arm at a rapid pace, my brain made the only correct decision. It knocked me out, sending me to sleep.

"A-a-ah... What was that?" A short girl with brown hair and dimples on her cheeks crawled out from behind Mashiro.

While she was climbing out and Midoriya was coming to his senses, exactly 3 seconds had passed.

Having risen, they examined the culprit of the situation, who pulled/fell on them. They were instantly horrified and began to panic, because he was bleeding from his eyes, nose and mouth, and his eyes themselves had rolled back, making it clear that he was at least unconscious.

"Aaaah! He's bleeding!"

"Oh my god, oh my god, what should we do?!"

They began to quickly turn their heads, first at Mashiro's face, then at each other. Surprisingly, Midoriya was the first to come to his senses.

"W-we need to get him to Recovery Girl's infirmary as soon as possible! Can you grab his legs?"

"O-okay." She nodded nervously and grabbed his legs.

Midoriya caught his breath and almost came to his senses. Grabbing his new acquaintance by the armpits, he was surprised by his lightness, or rather weightlessness, but then he remembered how this girl used her quirk at the Entrance Trial.

Having picked him up, they quickly headed to the school infirmary under the puzzled looks of the other students.

'Don't copy *One For All* again... ever.'

Looking at the logs and notifications, I was able to see in detail what had happened to me.

If I didn't have a player body, then at the very least I would have lost my arm up to the shoulder, in the worst case my brain would have turned into a boiled egg.

My quirk distributed the damage throughout my entire body, but with the help of a little sleep I felt more or less healthy, although the slight itching on my skin all over my body was annoying.

I lay there for almost 1.5 hours, meaning I could still make it to teacher Aizawa's Quirk-test lesson. But the question is, should I go there?

If I come and he finds out that it was related to my quirk, he might well expel me on the spot. After all, we're talking about Aizawa from the beginning of the story, who failed all the previous classes for which he was responsible.

And if I don't come, he might come to me to ask the reason or, worse, conduct a one-on-one examination with me.

Of course, it will all come down to sparring, but that's what worries me. After all, I'm still not sure about the nature of my own quirk.

Is it a Mutant type, which simply reflects my efforts, taking the *Player Body* as a basis. Or does it work like a computer program, which can be forcibly turned off under the gaze of the Eraser's quirk, that is, teacher Aizawa.

The problems ranged from a simple interface shutdown to the absurd removal of me from reality, if we consider me as a digital phenomenon of an avatar.

Death itself does not scare me for obvious reasons, but it is unknown whether I have the function of rebirth or a new game. If there were no problems with the first, after all, *Second Chance*, despite possible fines and restrictions, then reappearing in my *spawn point* will not please me at all.

Just one thought that I will again get out of the womb of the mother and become a baby, drove me into melancholy ... And this is not to mention the repeated grind.

*Sigh*

In the end, I decided to attend Aizawa's lesson after all. After warming up and putting on my tracksuit that was left in the classroom, I went to the courtyard, where everyone from our class was actively competing.

'Ha... Kakashi from home...'

I made it just in time for the last test with throwing a small baseball.

Deciding not to ruin the moment, I let Midoriya make his throw, after which his index finger swelled to a bluish-purple color. Remembering his future actions, it was nothing, especially his state after the entrance exams, which can be seen from Aizawa's excited face.

He had planned to fail him from the very beginning, but he only gave him a chance because of All Might. Aizawa was not going to teach someone who couldn't even control his quirk, let alone use it in practice.

Now he saw Midoriya not just as a glass cannon, but as a multiple-times-usable glass cannon! It was still a minimum passing line, but he was able to prove that he could improve and become better.

It was just the right time for me to join them.

''Maybe Aizawa will let me pass?'

"Mashiro Mineta. Get into position." But I was unlucky and Aizawa still demanded my participation.

"Since you skipped most of the class, you must now make a satisfactory result." He said, looking down at his tablet.

"Sorry, Sensei, but what exactly do you mean by a *satisfactory* result?" I asked him, to which he, as if expecting it, raised his hand with his smartphone and smiled maniacally.

[ 705.3 m ]

"Exceed this result or you're expelled."

His phrase alone made me shudder, because I knew he wasn't joking.

I nodded to him and picked up one of the balls from the side. They were surprisingly heavy, but quite elastic. After squeezing them, I roughly understood how much force they could withstand - about 20%.

Bringing my left leg up, I got into a throwing position and a moment later...

*Boom!*

My throw surpassed the speed of sound and rushed forward. After a second or two, I heard a small pop and Aizawa looked at the result on his smartphone.

[ 999.9 m ]

Already sitting in the classroom, I got to know my classmates.

"You're so strong! You had to throw it like that for it to fly almost a thousand meters and explode!"

"Your throwing pose was incredible! Are you an amateur baseball player?"

Almost the entire class crowded around my desk, which wasn't hard since I was sitting on the very edge near the window with only one desk in the back row. There was plenty of room.

Momo Yaoyorozu was sitting in front of me, and Shoto Todoroki was sitting to her right. All three students with recommendations were seated next to each other. They really didn't bother...

My younger brother was sitting right on my desk, nodding arrogantly as he listened to people admiring me as if I were him.

"Speaking of which..." Denki Kaminari, the boy with the electric quirk, began. "I remember Aizawa-sensei calling your full name. It's the same as Minoru Mineta's. "Aren't you related by any chance?"

Seeing the gleam in my brother's eyes, I immediately grabbed him, not letting him stand on my desk with his feet, and also covered his mouth. And continuing to hold him in my arms, despite his resistance, I smiled.

"Yes, that's right. We're twins." Shouts of surprise were immediately heard from all sides. Of course, I later corrected myself, saying that we were fraternal twins, but they apparently didn't care much.

Having met everyone and exchanged numbers, we quickly created a class group on a socials.

Before leaving, I apologized to Uraraka and Midoriya, especially the latter, explaining that the incident was not his fault.

Already at the exit from the school, I saw Toga standing at the school gate. Noticing me, she smiled happily.

'Apparently their first day went much easier than ours, since everyone from their class has already left.'

"How was your first day at UA?" I asked her

"Wonderful! I made friends and exchanged numbers with all the girls in my class! How was yours?" She fell in line next to me, walking with me to the exit of the school territory.

"Nothing special. Except that I got to the infirmary in a pretty bad condition and almost got expelled, and otherwise..."

Before I could finish speaking, I heard from her:

"WHAT?!" She screamed right in my ear, grabbing my forearm tightly, with a stunned expression on her face.
