Chapter 12: Chapter 12: An Unexpected Day Off

(A/N:Just a small slice of life chapter. You can skip it if you want. And jeez you guys are thirsty.)

(Warning: Mini R-18 scene. Read at your own discretion.)

After reaching home, I took a quick bath to wash away the excitement of the day. The warm water relaxed my muscles, soothing the remnants of the adrenaline that had coursed through me during the festival. Once I dried off, I prepared a light dinner—just enough to satisfy my hunger without weighing me down.

After eating, I plopped onto my bed, feeling the soft sheets envelop me like a comforting hug. Although my quirk kept me from feeling physically fatigued, the mental exhaustion from the day's events was all too real. As I lay back, my mind replayed the highlights of the sports festival—the battles, the friendships, the triumphs—and before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep, the weight of the day finally lifting as I sank into the comfort of my dreams.

The morning sun streamed through the windows, gently nudging me awake. I stretched, still feeling the remnants of a refreshing sleep wash over me. "That was one refreshing sleep," I muttered to myself, a small smile creeping onto my face as I swung my legs off the bed.

I shuffled to the bathroom to complete my morning rituals, splashing water on my face to shake off the last vestiges of sleep. Once I was freshened up, I made my way to the kitchen, where I brewed a cup of hot coffee. The rich aroma filled the air, comforting and invigorating.

With my steaming cup in hand, I stepped out into the backyard, welcoming the cool autumn breeze that danced around me. I settled into a chair, letting the crisp air envelop me as I took my first sip of coffee. The warmth of the mug contrasted perfectly with the refreshing wind, and I couldn't help but take a moment to savor it.

As I sat there, I began to plan my day off. I thought about what I wanted to do and who I might want to spend it with. There were so many possibilities, and the thought of enjoying the day with friends—maybe even some of the girls from Class 1-A—made my heart race a little.

As I sipped my coffee, I thought about how nice it was to have a day off. And as they always say, "You get what you wish for." Just then, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw Toru-chan's name flashing on the screen. I couldn't help but grin as I answered, "Hey, Toru! What's up?"

"Leo! Guess what?" Her cheerful voice practically sparkled through the phone.

I raised an eyebrow, teasingly. "Let me guess, you finally learned how to cook?"

"So you think my cooking is bad?" she replied, a playful tone laced with mock offense.

I chuckled, leaning back in my chair. "I can't know that until I try it, can I?"

"Oh, you'll have the chance soon! I was thinking we could have a date today!" she exclaimed, her excitement palpable even over the line.

"Wow, you're really laying it on thick this morning, huh? What's the catch?" I teased, curious.

"No catch! I just thought it'd be fun to hang out, just the two of us," she said, a hint of mischief in her tone. "I can even cook us lunch!"

"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to put you out," I said, half-joking.

"Of course! It'll be my treat," she insisted, sounding determined. "Just be ready for my culinary masterpiece!"

I laughed, picturing her cooking attempts. "Alright, I trust you. But if I end up with food poisoning, you're in trouble!"

"Please! You'll love it, I promise! Just be at the park by noon, okay?" she replied, sounding confident.

"Deal! I'll be there, Toru. Looking forward to it!" I said.

"Great! See you soon, Leo!" she chirped before hanging up.

I couldn't help but smile as I finished my coffee, feeling excited for our date. I was looking forward to spending the day with Toru and seeing what she had planned.

Feeling fired up for the date, I quickly finished my coffee and threw together a quick breakfast. After that, it was time to get ready. I headed to my closet, sifting through my clothes. "Gotta look sharp today," I muttered, smirking at my reflection in the mirror.

I picked out a simple, yet stylish white shirt and paired it with dark jeans, something casual but not too laid-back. A jacket to match, and I was all set. I brushed my hair back, running my hand through it for that effortlessly cool look. As I glanced at myself in the mirror, I couldn't resist a grin. "Man, sometimes it's just unfair how good I look." I chuckled to myself, maybe a little too pleased with my reflection.

Once satisfied, I grabbed my watch and put it on. "Perfect," I said, giving one last approving nod.

With the time nearing, I teleported to the entrance of the park, arriving precisely at the agreed time. I scanned the area, waiting for Toru to show up, feeling both excited and a little curious about what she had in store for our date.

As soon as I spotted Toru walking towards me, my excitement quickly turned into confusion. She wasn't alone—beside her were Jiro, Uraraka, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, and Ashido. I blinked, stunned for a moment, wondering what exactly was going on.

Toru waved at me cheerfully, calling me over, and although my head was full of questions, I shelved my doubts and made my way toward the group. As I approached, Toru smiled apologetically, "Sorry I was late, Leo. After I ended the call with you, the girls called and asked what my plan was for the day. When I told them about our picnic, they wanted to join. I hope you don't mind."

I was momentarily speechless, taking in the situation, but quickly grinned, deciding to roll with it. "Of course, I don't mind being accompanied by more beautiful girls."

After my comment, the group exchanged glances, their faces lighting up with varying shades of pink. Jiro crossed her arms, trying to act tough but failing to hide her embarrassment. "You really are a scumbag, aren't you?" she muttered, though her smirk betrayed her amusement.

Uraraka, caught off guard, fumbled a little before laughing nervously, "Smooth, Leo, real smooth."

Tsuyu just blinked, her usual calm demeanor barely wavering. "Ribbit, you're a bit too relaxed, aren't you?"

Yaoyorozu blushed deeply but tried to remain composed, "W-well, flattery aside, we're here to enjoy the day."

Meanwhile, Ashido smirked, clearly amused, "You better watch yourself with all this flirting, or you might have more than just a picnic on your hands."

I grinned wider, rubbing the back of my head. "Alright, alright, I'll behave... for now."

Toru, though, just giggled, shaking her head, "You sure know how to give things an interesting start, Leo."

After we exchanged greetings, we started walking deeper into the park, looking for the perfect spot for our picnic. The warm autumn sun bathed the park in a golden hue, making everything feel vibrant and alive. As we walked, I couldn't help but glance at each of the girls, appreciating their individual styles.

Toru wore a light cardigan over a flowing sundress, the floral patterns now a mix of autumn hues like orange and burgundy. Jiro, keeping true to her style, layered a sleeveless band shirt under a plaid shirt with rolled-up sleeves, paired with distressed jeans and her favorite boots. Uraraka chose a comfy pastel blue sweater, slightly oversized, with a pair of denim shorts, keeping things both cute and casual. Tsuyu kept it practical with a green long-sleeve shirt adorned with tiny frog prints, paired with a simple knee-length skirt and ankle boots. Yaoyorozu looked sophisticated in a cream-colored long-sleeve blouse and a high-waisted skirt with soft autumn tones. Ashido, ever the fashion-forward one, wore a cropped yellow sweater layered over a fitted tank top, along with high-waisted jeans, perfectly matching her energetic vibe.

As we moved through the park, I noticed the envious glances from nearly every guy we passed. Walking with six beautiful girls? Yeah, that got a lot of attention. I couldn't help but smirk. "Looks like I'm the luckiest guy in the park today," I thought, enjoying the moment. It wasn't arrogance—just the simple pleasure of enjoying their company. But I could sense their eyes on me, so I turned to them with a lighthearted smile.

"Don't mind the stares. They're probably wondering how I managed to charm such an amazing group of girls."

Ashido snorted, flicking her eyes toward the staring guys. "Yeah, or they're just jealous."

Jiro smirked. "Enjoying the attention, aren't you, Leo?"

"Can't say I'm not." I gave a playful shrug, and the girls rolled their eyes.

Finally, we found a perfect spot under a large, old oak tree. Its sprawling branches provided ample shade, and the ground was soft with green grass. There was a slight breeze, making it comfortable but not chilly. You could hear the faint rustling of leaves in the wind, and the sound of flowing water nearby.

Toru laid out the picnic blanket she brought, and everyone began to settle in. She had prepared the entire meal herself, and it wasn't long before we were all sitting in a cozy circle, enjoying the spread she laid out. Sandwiches, fruit, salads, and a few extra dishes.

"I know it's not much, but I hope you guys enjoy it!" Toru said cheerfully.

"Not much? This looks amazing, Toru-chan!" I exclaimed. "Though, I still need to see how it tastes."

As the girls started digging in, complimenting Toru's efforts, I took a bite. While I briefly thought about how I could probably elevate the dish with my own cooking skills, I couldn't help but smile and say, "Toru, this is really good! You've outdone yourself." It wasn't just a compliment; it was genuine, and seeing her face light up made it worth it. Today, I let her bask in the praise.

As we continued chatting and laughing, I made small gestures to make the day more memorable—passing drinks around, fixing the blankets when they shifted, or helping with little things to make the whole experience more comfortable. Little by little, I could tell their expressions toward me shifted, with more warmth and ease.

By the time the breakfast ended, the atmosphere was perfect, a blend of light teasing, genuine laughter, and comfortable silence.

After finishing breakfast, I glanced at the group, eager to keep the atmosphere lively. "So, what's everyone's plan for today besides eating and lounging around?" I asked, leaning back on my elbows with a playful smirk.

Toru grinned, her energy infectious. "I was thinking we could play some games or maybe have a little friendly competition."

"Count me in for games!" Ashido exclaimed, bouncing in her spot. "I've been itching to show off my skills!"

"Or you could just show off your snacks," Jiro teased, earning a lighthearted shove from Ashido.

"Hey, my snacks are top tier!" Ashido shot back with a laugh.

"How about we settle this with a cooking competition?" Yaoyorozu suggested, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

The idea caught on quickly, and the girls all nodded in agreement, exchanging excited glances, each one eager to prove their culinary skills. After a moment of deliberation, they turned to me.

"Leo, you should be the judge!" Tsuyu exclaimed, her eyes bright with enthusiasm.

"Me? Judge?" I raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Should I be lenient, or should I be like Gordon Ramsay?"

The name hung in the air, and the girls looked at each other in confusion. "Who's that?" Uraraka asked, tilting her head.

Realizing my slip, I quickly recovered. "Oh, he's a top chef from the era before quirks. Extremely strict about judging food," I added, hoping to sound convincing.

"Sounds like we need you to be somewhere in between," Ashido chimed in, grinning mischievously.

I chuckled and nodded, a playful challenge sparking in my eyes. "Alright, let's hear what each of you plans to make."

After a round of ideas, I noted the dishes they would prepare: Toru was going for a light pasta salad, Jiro was making spicy ramen, Uraraka opted for a fruity dessert, Tsuyu decided on a traditional miso soup, Yaoyorozu chose a classic bento box, and Ashido was set on creating colorful sushi rolls.

Once we had our dishes planned, I teleported to the store to grab the necessary ingredients for everyone. I returned a few minutes later, arms full of bags, and distributed the items with a flourish.

"Alright, let the cooking commence!" I announced, and the girls quickly scattered to their designated spots, the competition officially underway.

As I observed their culinary efforts, I couldn't help but be entertained by the chaos that ensued. The air was filled with laughter, lighthearted banter, and the occasional shout of frustration.

After a fun-filled cooking session, we gathered around the picnic blanket spread with the various dishes. I took my role as judge seriously, sampling each creation while trying to maintain a balance of light strictness.

"This is pretty good, but I think you could use a touch more seasoning here," I said lightly, nodding at Jiro's ramen. The broth was flavorful, but it could use a bit more depth. Jiro gave a playful pout. "What, not spicy enough for you?" she teased, though I could tell she took the advice in stride.

"Your pasta is light and refreshing," I said, taking another bite of Toru's dish. "But I think the dressing could use a little more acidity to really make the flavors pop." Toru looked thoughtful, nodding. "I'll try that next time," she responded with a smile, clearly happy to receive feedback.

"Now, this is definitely sweet enough," I said with a grin, sampling Uraraka's dessert. "But maybe tone down the sugar a bit to let the natural fruit flavors shine through." Uraraka's eyes widened, and she laughed, scratching her head. "Guess I went a little overboard there, huh?"

"Classic," I said, enjoying Tsuyu's miso soup. "The balance of flavors is really good, but maybe add a touch more dashi to deepen the umami." Tsuyu blinked, processing the suggestion, and then nodded. "I'll definitely try that next time," she said in her usual calm tone.

"Your bento is beautiful as expected," I complimented, admiring the precise arrangement of food in Yaoyorozu's bento box. "But some of the elements could use a little more seasoning to stand out on their own." Yaoyorozu gave me a thoughtful nod, already considering how she could refine the balance.

"These are creative," I said, biting into one of Ashido's vibrant sushi rolls. "But the rice might be a bit too sticky. Try fluffing it more to get that perfect texture." Ashido huffed, but her grin gave away her amusement. "Fine, I'll be sushi master next time!"

After tasting each dish, I declared, "Uraraka, your fruity dessert really took the cake—literally! You're the winner of this round!" Her face lit up with joy, earning cheers and playful mock pouts from the others.

(A/N: I had to do research on Japanese food for that. Anyway go on and continue reading. I am not gonna interrupt you guys.)

By the end of the judging, the atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and playful banter as the girls teased each other about who could outdo the other next time. They were clearly enjoying themselves, and I couldn't help but smile at their enthusiasm.

"Next time, I'm totally going to win!" Ashido declared, waving her hands dramatically.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Jiro shot back, grinning.

It was then that a mischievous idea seemed to strike them all at once. Yaoyorozu leaned forward with a gleam in her eye. "How about we turn the tables? Let's see how good you really are, Leo!" she suggested, a wide grin spreading across her face.

"Yeah! You can't judge without showing your skills!" Uraraka added, her eyes sparkling with challenge, clearly excited at the thought.

I raised an eyebrow, a grin creeping onto my face as I realized where this was going. "Oh, is that so?" I replied, my curiosity piqued.

Their eager expressions only fueled my playful nature. "Alright, I'll show you what I can do. Just prepare for a foodgasm," I teased, and they burst into laughter, clearly ready for whatever culinary experience awaited them.

The girls laughed, but Uraraka tilted her head. "Wait, foodgasm? What's that?"

I chuckled mysteriously, waving my hand dismissively. "You'll just have to experience it yourselves. No spoilers."

The girls exchanged curious looks, but I could feel the excitement in the air grow as they watched me prepare for my turn. With a confident flick of my hand, I teleported to a nearby store, gathering only the finest ingredients. The moment I returned, my cooking process became a spectacle. Using my space-manipulation powers, I seemed to be in multiple places at once—chopping, stirring, and grilling with an almost unnatural precision and speed.

The air soon filled with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly seared meats, rich sauces, and perfectly balanced herbs. The girls were spellbound as I worked, every motion precise and deliberate, my focus unwavering.

"This smells amazing!" Ashido exclaimed, her eyes wide as she inhaled the tantalizing scents.

"Are you sure your secret identity is not some big shot chef?" Jiro asked with a grin, watching me plate the food.

I winked. "What can I say? Cooking is a hobby of mine."

Finally, I presented the dishes—a succulent grilled teriyaki chicken drizzled with a rich, savory sauce, accompanied by a vibrant rainbow vegetable stir-fry and fluffy jasmine rice, all enhanced by a tangy sweet chili sauce. The food radiated a warm, golden glow, reminiscent of something straight out of Food Wars, a medley of flavors, textures, and colors that made their mouths water just by looking at them.

(A/N: This one too. And for the following part I legit went overboard. So I suppose you guys get used to it since i tend to do this quite often. Also Minor R-18 ahead. Honestly its just some words. Nothing more.)

"Whoa! It's glowing!" Uraraka exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Jiro leaned in closer, her expression a mix of awe and hunger. "Is that... even possible?"

"Looks like something magical!" Ashido chimed in, practically bouncing in place.

Yaoyorozu examined the dish with a critical eye before smiling, "It looks so beautifully presented! I can't wait to try it!"

Tsuyu tilted her head, wide-eyed. "Ribbit! It's like a feast for the eyes. I hope it tastes as good as it looks!"

Hagakure clapped her hands together, practically vibrating with anticipation. "I can't believe Leo made this! It looks amazing!"

With excitement filling the air, I said, "Dig in," stepping back and watching them eagerly reach for the food.

The moment they took their first bite, a surge of flavor hit them with such intensity that their eyes widened in shock. Each girl let out an involuntary moan of pleasure as the food practically melted in their mouths.

Suddenly, their clothes shattered, as if the sheer joy of the food had overwhelmed their bodies.

"W-What is this?!" Yaoyorozu gasped, struggling to cover her breasts with her hands while her thighs tightened in an attempt to shield her pussy as her dress exploded into shreds of fabric, leaving her feeling completely exposed.

"Leo! What kind of food magic is this?!" Uraraka's face flushed bright red, one of her hands instinctively moving to shield her exposed breasts while the other hurriedly attempted to cover her pussy.

Jiro, caught in a moment of disbelief, laughed nervously, her cheeks turning bright pink as she crossed one arm over her breast while the other moved downward to cover her pussy, doing her best to shield them. "Is this supposed to happen?!"

I noticed Ashido and Tsuyu also trying to cover themselves, their faces a mix of surprise and embarrassment. Toru, on the other hand, was the luckiest one since she turned invisible the second her dress exploded. Unbeknownst to her, it was ineffective for me—I could still see her, even more clearly than others as she didn't try to cover herself due to the confidence in her quirk.

I was stunned at the scenery in front of me. Then I reacted, "That's foodgasm for you." I said with a wink, and with a tone of playfulness, wonder, and apology, I added, "Don't worry, I've got this."

Quickly, I conjured a small shimmering dome around us, ensuring that others couldn't see the scene unfolding. "I'll be right back," I said, and vanished again, teleporting to a nearby clothing store.

The girls remained in a state of blissful shock, caught in the aftereffects of their overwhelming culinary experience. They exchanged wide-eyed glances, struggling to process the sheer intensity of the flavors and the unexpected wardrobe malfunction.

Finally, as the realization sank in, they burst into laughter, their embarrassment slowly fading into shared amusement as they continued to cover themselves with their hands, the atmosphere shifting from shock to lighthearted fun, even as they tried to hide their exposed scenery.

(A/N: The above is not even considered R-18 honestly though. But, a warning was still necessary I think. )

In moments, he returned, his arms full of new dresses for each of the girls. As they quickly got dressed within the protective dome, Toru, her face still flushed, teased him, "This... wasn't the exact experience I had in mind when I heard foodgasm."

Leo laughed, handing out the clothes. "Well, I told you to prepare for a foodgasm. Guess I should've been more literal."

As the girls started changing, Jiro narrowed her eyes playfully. "Hey, turn around, will you? We don't need you peeking again!"

Leo grinned mischievously. "Oh, please. I've already seen everything there is to see," he replied with a playful smirk, making the girls groan in embarrassment.

Yaoyorozu, adjusting her new dress, raised an eyebrow. "But seriously, how did you know our sizes?"

"I have my ways," Leo said, winking. "Consider it part of my charm."

Once they were fully clothed, the girls continued to giggle, their previous embarrassment fading. It was clear that my cooking had left a lasting impression, and the mood remained light and cheerful as the day went on.

Amidst the laughter, Uraraka suddenly suggested, "You know what? We should totally plan some kind of revenge for this whole 'foodgasm' incident."

"Absolutely," Ashido chimed in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "We can't let him get away with this!"

The girls exchanged conspiratorial grins, their laughter echoing through the park as they eagerly plotted their playful revenge.

I overheard their playful scheming and couldn't help but chuckle. "I sense dark days ahead!" I declared, dramatically staring into the sky and pretending to swoon. "What have I done to deserve such a fate?"

Toru, with a mischievous grin, feigned innocence. "Dark days? What dark days? We have no idea what you're talking about, Leo. We're all just… having fun, right, girls?"

Uraraka nodded, her smile all too innocent. "Exactly! Just a little harmless fun. You'll be fine… probably."

"Probably?" I repeated, raising an eyebrow. "That's not very reassuring."

Ashido laughed, nudging Uraraka. "He's catching on! But hey, it'll definitely keep things interesting."

Jiro smirked, leaning closer with a mischievous glint. "Oh, you have no idea. We've got something special planned for you. It's gonna be legendary."

I shook my head, grinning despite myself. "Great. Sounds like I'm headed straight for disaster. Just… promise me one thing."

They all leaned in, waiting.

I raised a finger with mock seriousness. "Whatever you do… don't mess with the food I make. That's sacred ground."

For a moment, they exchanged looks before bursting into laughter. Toru wiped an invisible tear from her eye. "Oh, Leo, we would never! Your cooking is too good to mess with."

Ashido grinned. "But everything else? Fair game!"

Uraraka gave me a wink. "We won't touch your food, but you better watch your back."

Jiro just shrugged, her smirk widening. "Food stays safe. You? Not so much."

I sighed, already resigned to my fate. "Well, that's… comforting. I think."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the park, I couldn't help but take a moment to appreciate the radiant smiles of the girls around me. Each laugh and joyful expression sparkled in the fading light, filling me with a sense of warmth. It hit me then—this was more than just friendship; it was a purpose. I had a goal worth striving for: to protect these six girls and keep their smiles alive.

I cleared my throat, trying to adopt a casual tone. "Alright, ladies, as much as I'd love to keep you here admiring your brilliant selves, I think it's time to send you home."

Jiro raised an eyebrow, a teasing grin on her face. "Brilliant selves? Are you trying to flatter us or get out of trouble?"

"Can you blame me?" I shot back, grinning. "If I don't throw in a few compliments, you might just band together and sabotage my wardrobe!"

"Too late for that!" Toru chimed in, giggling. "Your wardrobe's already a disaster zone!"

I crossed my arms, feigning irritation. "If I keep you all here any longer, I'll have parents showing up with pitchforks and torches."

Ashido laughed, her eyes sparkling. "And what will you tell them? That you've been taking care of their troublemaking daughters?"

"Exactly! I'll just say it's my heroic duty," I replied dramatically, striking a pose. "Saving the day, one chaos-filled evening at a time!"

After a round of playful banter, I gathered the girls close, preparing to open a space gate to send them home. "Alright, ladies! Time to go. I'll zap you home faster than you can say 'quirk!'"

"Just don't accidentally send me to the wrong dimension!" Uraraka exclaimed, her eyes wide with mock panic.

"Don't worry! I'm not that reckless," I said with a wink. "At least not when I can help it."

With a flourish, I opened a shimmering portal, colors swirling around us like a magical display. "Step right up, ladies! Your chariot awaits!"

As they stepped through one by one, I felt a warmth in my chest. These girls were more than friends; they filled a void in my heart I hadn't even realized was there.

The portal shimmered before it closed, and with a final wave, I muttered, "Keeping your smiles bright is my new full-time job!"

As the sun finally set, casting a beautiful twilight over the park, I stood alone, a satisfied smile on my face. My original aim was simply to enjoy life in this MHA world, discussing life with female heroes, punching villains left and right. But now, I had discovered a deeper purpose: to protect these girls and keep their joy alive. Just these six girls were enough for me.

With a light heart, I made my way home, the sweet memories of today lingering in my mind. The sunset painted the sky in stunning shades of orange and pink, and I reflected on how much my life had changed since arriving in this world. I had found laughter, camaraderie, and a reason to fight.

Maybe, just maybe, this was where I was meant to be all along.
