Metaverse of Mechas

Chapter 99: : Echoes of the Void

📘 Chapter 99

🌑 Scene 1: The Birth of Voidbreaker

Deep within the Hollow Core, surrounded by whispering echoes of the past, Zake stood before a massive silhouette hidden in obsidian fog.

The voice returned.

"Zake Elthien. The world abandoned you. But the Void remembers."

The mists parted, revealing a monstrous Mecha—twice the size of anything Zake had seen before. It had no color, only shadow. Its eyes were not lights—they were abyssal tears, absorbing everything around it.

"This is your partner—Voidbreaker."

Suddenly, fragments of memories not his own began flooding Zake's mind: cities crumbling, stars collapsing, gods screaming in silence.

"This Mecha is not powered by Krono
It's powered by Forgetfulness—the energy of lost timelines."

Zake hesitated.

"Am I even
 human?"

"You are what remains when fate breaks."

And then he entered Voidbreaker. The cockpit was empty—no lights, no HUD. Just a single sentence glowing in violet:

"To drive the void
 forget everything you love."

đŸ’« Scene 2: Zui's Escape

Far above Earth, Zui sprinted across the collapsing Aether Vault, Shade limping beside her.

The orbital satellite above them powered up—its cannon charged with a continent-busting Krono burst.

"We'll never outrun that thing!" Shade screamed.

Zui turned to him, vines growing from her arms, eyes glowing green.

"We won't have to."

She channeled every ounce of her hybrid core. The plants around her fused into a living shield, forming a dome of regenerative armor around them.

As the sky lit with death, the cannon fired.

From the horizon, the beam split the clouds—and struck the vault.

Boom.

Silence.

Then—life.

Her shield had held, barely, and mutated into a giant blooming flower, absorbing the impact like it was sunlight.

Shade gasped. "What the hell are you?"

Zui didn't answer. She just stared at the smoldering sky.

"A mistake. Or a miracle."

🧠 Scene 3: Zeron's New Companion

Zeron sat in the dark ruins of the mindscape, breathing heavily. His thoughts were scattered.

Then—something touched his shoulder.

It wasn't human.

The creature was small, cat-like, glowing with miniature constellations across its skin. Its eyes were galaxies.

"You brought me out," it said. "So now you're stuck with me."

Zeron blinked. "What
 are you?"

"I'm your forgotten memory. The last one."

The creature, called Myrr, floated onto his head like a crown.

"I was sealed by the ones who feared your truth. Now, you'll start remembering
 slowly. Painfully."

Zeron's Purple Krono flared—not wildly, but in perfect control.

He grinned.

"Let's give them something to fear."

🧬 Scene 4: Ira's Decision

Ira walked alone into the Dream Spire—an abandoned Krono cathedral where only failed pilots go to die.

The glyph on her chest pulsed with rhythm and code.

There, she met a woman cloaked in memory—a Voidborn Elder.

"Your time has come, Ira. You must decide. Remain loyal to Earth
 or remember your real home."

Visions assaulted her—another world, built from thought and silence. Her Voidborn past.

"But I have friends here. People I care about!"

"You are the lock. Zake is the key. Together, you will open the gate that ends this world or saves it."

Ira clenched her fist. The glyph collapsed and reforged into a double-helix crown.

"Then I'll forge a third path. For both worlds."

đŸȘ Scene 5: The Emissaries Gather

In a sky-temple orbiting above the stratosphere, seven alien Emissaries floated around a spire of dying stars.

One of them—a childlike girl with blood-red eyes—spoke first.

"Voidbreaker is active."

The elder one nodded. "And the Bloomchild survived the cannon."

Another hissed. "Zeron has retrieved the Catalyst. The timelines are merging too fast."

Then the Over-Emissary emerged.

"Initiate the final sequence. Phase Four begins: Unmaking Earth."
