Chapter 32: : The Child Before the Song

📘 Chapter 32

💥 Scene 1: The Wake

Zeron woke up.

Not in a hospital bed.

Not in Spiral HQ.

He was floating above a metallic field — a simulation room, designed to absorb Krono bursts.

He looked at his hands.

The veins were dimly glowing violet.

But… they were stable.

Zake and Minari stood at a safe distance, watching from behind a reinforced Krono wall.

"You've been asleep for four days," Minari said over comms.

"What happened in there?"

Zeron's eyes narrowed.

"I met… myself."

"And a version of me that wasn't supposed to exist."

The systems beeped.

His Krono levels were climbing rapidly—but not violently.

He was adapting.

Zake stepped forward.

"Zui's sick, Zeron."

"She's speaking in languages we don't know."

"She's not responding to anything except… your voice."

👧 Scene 2: Zui's Possession

In a dim medical room, Zui lay hooked to an array of glowing circuits.

Her eyes — still closed — flickered with light in rhythmic pulses.

Her mouth opened.

And she sang.

But it wasn't her voice.

It was deep.

Metallic.

Alien.

"You were the first spark."

"But she… she was the first flame."

Minari stood by her, analyzing the frequency.

It matched no known language — except one.

The signal from the abandoned satellite.

Rest entered silently.

"It's begun," she whispered.

"Zui isn't dying."

"She's becoming a Key."

Zeron clenched his fists.

"A key to what?"

Rest looked straight at him.

"To the Original Composer."

🛰️ Scene 3: The Message from Deep Space

In Spiral's deep-space listening array, a message finally decrypted.

It wasn't a transmission.

It was a lullaby.

The same melody Zui had been humming — but this one had words.

In ancient Mechran, the language of the creators of the Krono system.

"To the child before the song, we send the rhythm of correction."

"Let the echo remember who broke the silence first."

"We are coming."

A timestamp followed.

3 days from now.

The location: Sector Null — a voided zone where no machine had ever returned from.

Zeron stared at it on the map.

"That's where my parents' ship disappeared."

🤖 Scene 4: Rest's Origin

Later that night, Minari cornered Rest in the Hall of Echoes.

"Why do you know so much?"

Rest turned.

"Because your father built me."

Minari froze.

"That's not possible."

Rest removed her mask.

She looked human.

But only mostly.

Her eyes blinked sideways, like a chameleon's, and her voice had no breath.

"I was the first Krono-born."

"The experiment before Project Violet."

"I was meant to control sound… not wield it."

She handed Minari a file chip.

"This has your father's final message."

"And the blueprint for the Silencer."

Minari's breath caught.

"What's that?"

Rest's smile was sad.

"The only thing that can stop Zeron if he ever breaks."

🧬 Scene 5: The Violet Trial

Zeron entered the underground Resonance Chamber voluntarily.

He was to undergo the Violet Trial — a process to stabilize his growing power or risk burning out.

Inside, five Mecha simulacra of ancient warriors awaited — each constructed from Krono fragments of history's strongest pilots.

The first, Titanus of Blacksteel, attacked.

Zeron dodged, but each swing from Titanus sang with harmonic distortion.

Zeron didn't fight back.

He resonated.

He matched the tone of the attack.

He sang against it.

The clash of vibration canceled the blow.

The second, third, and fourth trials fell — one by one.

But the fifth…

Was a projection of himself, covered in symphonic armor, wearing a crown of violet glass.

It said only:

"If you kill me, you kill what protects your heart."

🌠 Scene 6: The Countdown Begins

As the Chapter ended, Spiral HQ went into red alert.

Three massive alien constructs had appeared on the edges of known space.

Each shaped like an instrument: a harp, a drum, and a flute — pulsing with light.

They were not attacking.

They were listening.

Recording.

Waiting for someone to play the first note.

And somewhere inside the flute-shaped ship…

A girl with silver hair stood, eyes closed, humming the lullaby.

Her ID tag: Subject 00 — Aina.

Her whisper reached across the void:

"I remember Zeron."

"He was the first to hear me."

🧭 Preview — Chapter 33: The Silencer's Blueprint

Zake and Minari investigate the message chip from Rest and learn the shocking truth about their parents' experiments.

Zui begins to resonate with the alien structures, becoming a bridge between Earth and the invasion.

Zeron completes the Violet Trial but begins to lose parts of his memory.

Spiral faces a split—some want to trust the signal, others want to nuke Sector Null.

And the truth behind the name "Zeron" is finally revealed — it's not just a name. It's a code.
