Chapter 101: : The Vault Under the Moon

📘 Chapter 101

🌕 Scene 1: Fractures of a Forgotten Sky

For centuries, the moon watched in silence. Cold. Pale. Still.

But now?

It bled.

A web of glowing cracks pulsed across its surface—thin at first, like hairline fractures. But growing. Spreading. At the center of the impact zone, a jagged opening had formed, leaking silver-blue mist that shimmered like plasma in zero gravity.

The world below trembled.

Inside the UN Mecha Council's headquarters, alarms blared.

"Unknown energy signatures. Origin: Lunar core. Type: Ancient Krono—unreadable class."

One scientist's voice quaked. "We're detecting signals… seven, to be exact. They're names. They're calling out to someone."

Another screamed.

"One of the names is Zeron."

🚀 Scene 2: Mission Athena

"Suit up. We're going to the moon."

Those were the only words spoken by Alectra Voss, Commander of the first interstellar Mecha squad in two generations.

Zeron stood in the locker bay of Hangar 6, staring at the new prototype beside him.

It wasn't his Mecha.

It wasn't even functional yet.

But something inside him whispered.

"You built it once before… didn't you?"

Myrr floated nearby. "Zeron, this mission's suicide. We don't know what's inside the Vault."

Zeron tightened the strap on his gloves, voice calm but heavy. "I need answers. If someone knows my name from inside that place… it's not coincidence."

Beside him, his childhood rival turned ally—Kael Ryn—smirked. "You always were the one to jump into hell first."

"Someone has to be first," Zeron replied.

🌱 Scene 3: Bloom Throne Reborn

Deep beneath the tangled veins of Bloomshade Valley, Zui stood before a throne made of writhing vines and shimmering pollen.

Around her knelt the Verdant Ascendants—ancient plant-based beings who once ruled nature before Krono corrupted their roots.

"Child of the Bloom," they intoned. "You have awakened the Ancient Seed."

A flower bloomed in Zui's palm. Inside it? A single glowing Krono Core—the color of spring turned golden fire.

"Take the throne," said the First Ascendant, "and you will command life itself."

Zui's hands trembled.

"But if I sit… can I still be human?"

Behind her, Shade said nothing.

But his eyes were pleading.

🕳️ Scene 4: Riftfall

Ira fell through darkness.

The Rift wasn't a place. It was an idea. A wound in space that bled forgotten timelines and memories that never were.

Each time she breathed, she felt her soul flicker.

And finally… she landed.

Before her stood a boy with one glowing eye—and a sword made of Krono steel that whispered traitor languages.

Zake.

Or rather… what was left of him.

Voidbreaker had begun rewriting his code, line by line.

He looked at Ira, and for the first time since childhood, his voice cracked.

"I don't want to forget you."

Ira stepped forward.

"Then fight it. Remember me."

🌑 Scene 5: Inside the Vault

The moon's surface peeled open.

Zeron's squad descended into what could only be described as a city frozen in time.

Everything was silver and motionless. Like someone had pressed pause on a civilization.

They passed streets with statues—people mid-conversation, Mechas mid-strike.

But as they reached the center, the city breathed.

A single being floated above a massive Core Tower, surrounded by symbols written in lost dialects of Krono.

She opened her eyes.

They were purple.

"Zeron," she said.

"Welcome home."
