Mech: Shattering of the Galaxy

Chapter 369: Hundred Martial Comet Force (Congrats to Alliance Hierarch Humanoid Monster)

(Time to start repaying the debt, here's a bonus chapter for the Alliance Hierarch's "Humanoid Monster" Chapter 2! Two more updates today)

Two staff members watched the Hundred Martial Comet Mechas slowly descending around them, their eyes revealing a faint excitement.

This was their real military strength, after all; using Warrior-class mechas as a standing force was a move rarely seen in either the Federation or the Empire.

The silver-white Hundred Martial Comet Mechas finally reached the same level as the aircraft the staff were on, and that metallic, icy gaze turned towards the two of them.

The orders from the Ran Family were simple: to form a numerical and power advantage to coerce the other side into giving up the mecha in their hands.

"In order to maintain the fairness and order of the competition, the use of force will not be ruled out. Please think twice, Loki Heavy Industry Mechanical Masters."

One of them spoke again, then reached for the communicator at his ear and whispered, "Mecha Army, move in."

Twenty silver-white mechas with teardrop-shaped weapon pods on their backs suddenly flashed with silver light, and then, silently, they split into five rows, four mechas to a row.

The neatly arranged formation appeared in the sky, an eye-catching sight of flying silver wings, with a pale blue glow emitting from the engine flame mouths on each mecha's back.

Such uniform movements paired with the dazzling mechas drew countless exclamations of admiration.

However, this was just the beginning. The first row of silver-white mechas suddenly descended rapidly, flying to hover around the head of the Extreme Special Soldier and then reaching with both arms into their teardrop-shaped weapon pods.

When the arms extended again, people saw an additional silver mounting component on each of the four mechas' arms.

"What is this?"

The curious crowd watched the four mechas that had suddenly descended, but before they could discuss it further, they found out what these objects were.

A pale white Light Spear about seven meters long suddenly appeared in the right hand, while a force field shield was activated on the left arm of the mecha.

With the flaunting silver wings on their backs, these four mechas could be said to have an extravagantly magnificent appearance.

The four mechas, stationed in a square formation over thirty meters above the ground, simultaneously looked down at the Extreme Special Soldier below, who still remained silent as it dragged the Deep Blue Mecha forward.

The four right arms were raised high, then hurled downwards with force!

The four Light Spears descended from the sky in an instant, embedding about one-third of their seven-meter length into the ground.

It was only then that the crowd saw that the points where the Light Spears struck were directly below the four mechas, and as the massive spears plunged into the earth, they formed a huge square enclosure.

In the center of the square was the Extreme Special Soldier who had suddenly stopped in its tracks!

As the black Extreme Special Soldier halted and raised its head to look up, the remaining sixteen Hundred Martial Comet Mechas moved in perfect unison, reaching into their backs and then, in the next instant, each mecha held a massive Light Spear in its hand.

Then they hurled them downward!

Whizz, whizz, whizz, whizz!

A Light Spear was inserted at each side of the huge square, and in a flash, a massive square spear formation surrounded the Extreme Special Soldier.

Countless ion sparks began to flicker between the spears, and an invisible but powerful force field wall enclosed the Extreme Special Soldier within.

The two staff members exchanged glances, worry in their eyes, as the mechas seemed to be acting without concern, especially now that countless cameras were directed at them, and moreover, the mechas had not responded verbally to their commands...

The two suddenly felt as if they were being used as pawns. Their controlled aircraft hovered awkwardly in mid-air, next to them, the equally shocked Sandy and Rachel.

The remaining sixteen Hundred Martial Comet Mechas each filled in the gaps between the original four mechas.

Consequently, an unusually neat square formation appeared above the force field wall.

"What's going on here?" Sandy asked the two bewilderedly.

"A sudden order from Lord Ran requests the return of the Lan Du Military Group's mecha, but it must first be taken over by the organization for a few days before the dispute is dealt with."

"How can they do this?" Rachel looked at the two with an expression of incomprehension.

"The Hundred Martial Comet Force will naturally handle this. You two must ensure the coordination of the external broadcast," the two said before hastily flying down.

The frustrated Rachel and Sandy exchanged glances, with the latter shaking his head at her and then gestured for the young girl to calm down and not be hasty.

The world, ah, is always so realistic...

"Ladies and gentlemen, hello there," Sandy, the experienced broadcaster, tried to maintain neutrality and objectivity in his speech, avoiding subjective color.

This somewhat calmed the audience, but nobody paid any attention to his suggestion to look away.

Especially the media!

Large and small media outlets were like cats that had smelled fish, refusing to move their cameras an inch.

That was news for them, and they even wished these silver mechas would just make a move and start fighting with the ones below.

Now, whether it was the media or the audience, their eyes were glued to the scene below.

They were waiting, waiting for the reaction of this mecha.

...

The Extreme Special Soldier still held the mecha in one hand and lifted its head to gaze at the sky, motionless.

Mu Fan's indifferent eyes swept across the battle screen, those gorgeous and neat mechas, the flashing ionic sparks of the Light Spear force fields.

Finally, Mu Fan spoke softly.

"What do you mean?"

His voice was devoid of emotion.

But to the listeners, their hearts began to thump wildly!

This guy's tone sounded as if he had no intention of compromising!

Just as the two staff members who had just flown down were about to speak, a Hundred Martial Comet Mecha suddenly broke away from the formation and flew out.

The pale blue flame from its silver wings was evenly and softly ejected, and a cold voice came from the mecha's head:

"I am Mo Cheng, the captain of Hundred Martial Comet Force Squad 71, please let go of the Deep Blue Cavalry Mecha."

Upon hearing this, the two staff members looked at each other with a painful expression; it was clear that Mo Cheng was a trusted man of Lord Ran, not their place to give orders.

They were being used as pawns.

Inside the cockpit, Mu Fan lifted his eyelids slightly and tapped a key lightly, his voice flatly replying:

"I've said, this mecha belongs to Loki Heavy Industry."

The Extreme Special Soldier remained in that position without moving, but Mu Fan's voice echoed in this corner of the world and was faithfully conveyed to every viewer by the cameras.

"That's not for you to decide! Let go of the mecha, and you can leave normally," Mo Cheng's voice was equally cold, and the Hundred Martial Comet Mecha with a gold pattern on it reached again into its weapon storage on its back.

"I can provide evidence... If I can't decide, are you the ones who do!?"

By the last half of the sentence, Mu Fan's voice had taken on a faintly violent tone; he was in a very bad mood, a very bad mood!

"The mecha will be taken over by us, and the evidence will be reviewed before a conclusion is made! If you obstruct..."

Mo Cheng's voice was consistently cold, everything for the organization.

"And what if I do?" came the increasingly impatient voice of the boy from the wilderness.

With a swish, a slender, twin-linked silver rifle was drawn from the weapon storage on its back and tossed forward.

The left hand steadied the rifle, and the barrel began to shine with two comet-like swirls.

—Twin-linked Comet Pulse Gun!

"Then don't blame us for following the rules!" Mo Cheng's voice was cold and forceful, and the mecha's fingers suddenly pulled the trigger of the Comet Pulse Gun.

Two dazzling lights burst forth from the sky!
