max McKnight In hell

It was morning and Max was still driving he didn't sleep but that was fine he didn't do much in term of physical exhaustion but thanks to his work as an exorcist his body doesn't feel much fatigued in terms of situation like the car chase.

Barbie was mentally tired so she went to sleep in her seat max gave her his jacket as a makeshift blanket it wasn't much but it's something.

He saw how the car was running out of gas luckily there was a nearby gas station and along the way he can buy some snacks for Barbie and himself.

How ever the agents saw that he stopped at a gas station and they were planning to capture him.

They landed the helicopter in an area that it wouldn't be seen and they made there way into the gas station.

Max grabbed a basket and filled it with snacks and drinks and he already set the car to refuel.

He got In to the counter and payed for the snacks and he got out.

Meanwhile the agents entered through the back door and they found there target only to be the wrong one.

It was a black haired teenager with one part covering his eyes and he had piercings.

The agents got out of the store and went back to the helicopter.

Back with max he was listening to some music on his head phones while eating a bag of chips it was salty but he liked it like that.

He then noticed that Barbie was waking up.

Max: rise and shine princess how did you sleep?

Barbie: good I guess.

Barbie looked down and she saw that max's jack was on her lap.

Barbie: did you-

Max: yup and I figured you could have use something as close to a blanket.

Barbie grabbed the jacket and looked at it.

It was pure black with white markings that don't have meaning over all it was okay in Barbie's opinion she decided to put it on and when she did she felt a warm feeling in her body.

Max: I'm not going to let you keep that that's a jacket that I ordered custom made and it caused a lot.

Barbie: I will give it back maybe.

Max: I heard that anyway you hungry?.

Max pointed at the bag of snack which were under Barbie.

Barbie grabbed on and started to eat.

Max: it not exactly a fitting breakfast but it will do.

Barbie looked at max and she noticed that he looked a little tired she doesn't know how he is still awake but that is pretty impressive for a human.

She look out side the window lost in thought she was thinking about max's behavior through there interactions when they first me he called her a bitch and now they are talking normally well as normal as it can get.

Barbie then wondered why max stays in hell more than the human world even though she is a hell born thanks to her status as an imp she has very limited options she is even lucky that she has a job well if they notice that the drug transfer has stopped.

She glacéd at max and she decided to start a conversation.

Barbie: hey max what do you think of hell honestly?

Max heard her question and he took his time to answer that.

He was being treated with respect with people that he meet well blitzo it's questionable and loona and him didn't exactly talk so yeah.

But that aside since he is with Charlie nobody can make a move on him thanks to her status as the princess of hell so yeah.

And hell it's just like real life just with more unfairness but if someone is careful they can get a good life in there.

Max: honestly it isn't bad it just like the living world with more unfairness.

Barbie: why do you even stay there? It's not like it's special.

Max: well it's more interesting and it kinda reminds me of my old Job.

Barbie: what exactly is your job?

Max: verosika showed you those videos right did you see wierd monsters?

Barbie: yeah?

Max: well those things were part of my job think of them as pest that need to be exterminated.

Barbie: so your job is to fight those things?

Max: pretty much.

Barbie: I heard that some demon want your head.

Max: mmm?

Barbie: you don't know? The ring of greed put up a bounty for you and the price is big.

Max: how big are we talking?

Barbie: 120.000.000 souls.

If max was drinking his soda he would have done a spit take but instead he stepped on the breaks and stopped the car and the sudden stop sent Barbie of balance almost dropped her bag of chips.

Max: who the hell put that on my head!!

Barbie: well you won't believe this but mammon was the one who put that much on your head apparently he wants you alive and I don't think we want to find out what that is so yeah sorry.

Barbie couldn't see max's face because his hair was covering his face but when gripped the stirring wheel he started to laugh and it turned from quiet laughing into that of a psychopathic laughter and Barbie felt terror when she heard them it was like someone set a time bomb.

Max: Barbie thanks for letting me know about this because if I ever see mammon

Barbie was seriously scared to ask but she could tell that he wasn't mad at her.

She can now see max's face and it was he had a vein in the side of head and he was smiling like a maniac this the first time she saw such a look on a human and Barbie felt like she was in the presence of a ticking bomb that was close to exploding.

Max: I will fucking rip him to fucking pieces.

Barbie wasn't sure if max family lost it or he is just talking nonsense she never met a sin but she heard that they were strong in the hierarchy of hell.

Barbie: woah hold on calm the hell down! we don't know what will happen if you attack mammon for all you know you can be put on trial.

Max took a moment and calm down Barbie is right if he manages to kill mammon that will probably have consequences he doesn't know what be he isn't curious enough to try his luck he doesn't know how powerful the sins are so it's better to keep himself in check.

Max: you are right heh I could have gotten myself killed for all I know.

Barbie: yeah if mammon does something against you. You might get a pardon but if you just go to the greed ring and beat him to kingdom come it would end well.

Max stepped on the gas and he continue to drive towards the camp.

Barbie: hey max.

Max: yeah.

Barbie: what exactly does my brother do?

Max: you don't know?

Barbie: no I didn't bother to keep taps on him but I want to know just in case it has something to do with me.

Max: well from what I can tell he has a business that is of assassinations were a sinner can give them info about their killers and they go up there to kill them.

Barbie: so basically he hasn't changed still having skeletons in the closet. Fucking blitzo

Max wasn't going to get on what's going on between those two because he could tell that this was personal.

Barbie saw that she made things awkward again so she decided to ask something to change the subject.

Barbie: so you said you had friends in hell who are they?

Max: well you know Charlie vaggie .angel and me talk but angel seems busy with work Carmella I would say that zestial and I had a good first impression of me Ozzie fizz mox-

Barbie heard of the overlord in the pride ring but the fact that max knows two of them is insane and even more so is when he mentioned asmodeus that was when she had to ask.

Barbie: hold the fucking phone you know asmodeus!? The sin of lust?

Max: yeah? We only talked once so not on a close personal level but he seems chill and he gave one of his crystals.

Max showed her the Asmodean crystal.

Barbie: well I'll be damned.

Max: gave this to me as a parting gift since he asked me why I was still in hell and not here.

Barbie: I see.

She looked outside the window and she that they were getting closer to the camp and a part of Barbie doesn't go she actually enjoyed having a conversation with someone who somewhat gets her but good things don't last.

Meanwhile with the agents they kept on following the car and they saw it stopped for a moment and continued on its way but they that there destination was a camp named camp ivannakummore.

Agent 1: why are they going to a camp?

Agent 2: perhaps this the targets secret cult to worship those demons.

Agent 1: let's go and get a closer look.

The helicopter got on top of the camp and they were high enough that they can't hear the propellers the two agents saw one the camera on the bottom of the helicopter that the girl with pig tails got off the car was talking to him.

Barbie: hey max.

Max: yeah?

Barbie: you are crazy but it was kinda fun being around you.

Max: thanks and listen. I don't know what happened between you and blitz but I can see it's not good for your mental health I suggest you get a therapist or something to fix that because you might end up doing something that you will regret.

Barbie was skeptical about what max was asking of her but she can understand were he is coming from there were some days that she wants to kill blitzo or just herself and that led her to go to rehab.

Barbie: I'll think about it.

Max: you do that now I'm gonna find somewhere to burn this car so that nobody finds any traces of me.

Barbie: wait.

Max: mmm?

Barbie took off max's jacket and handed it to him.

Barbie: I almost stole your jacket.

Max: thanks for giving it back see ya barb

Barbie: you too

With that max drove off leaving Barbie to look at the leaving car a part of just wanted to go with him but the part that is focused on work is telling her to go to the boat house and move the drugs.

And speak of the devil her phone started to ring she saw that it was her boss and she was somewhat nervous since for all she knows this could be her boss firing her.

Barbie: hey boss.

Drug Boss: Barbie where the hell are you were supposed be gone for a day and you went with two days with no transfers what happened?

Barbie: some asshole humans mugged and I had to get my stuff back.

Drug boss: that sounds like a lot of bullshit.

Barbie: I know but it's true.

Drug boss: it better be we need those drugs and if you don't finish it's your ass barb do I make myself clear?

Barbie had to bite her tongue to not say anything that will get her fired.

Barbie: yes sir.

Drug boss: good now get to work!

He hung up the phone and she saw her reflection on the screen and she could blame this whole thing on max but it he never asked her to go look for him she did it on her own so now she is in a critical situation and if she doesn't move the drugs she will have look for another job.

Barbie: fucking asshole.

The agents saw the whole thing and they decided to go after Barbie since they don't know what the target can do so getting a head start wouldn't hurt.

They got of the helicopter and followed Barbie to where she was going.

Barbie on the other hand got inside the boathouse and she saw jimmy who was high on some of the drugs.

Barbie: satan fucking damn it looks like he got bored and got himself high.

She was about to pick up the drugs but the door busted open and agents 1 and 2 had guns but 1's gun had a net on it

Barbie was caught of guard by the sudden attacks that she couldn't reach in time to dodge the net.

She tried to get out but only pressed a button that shocked her it took three to make loss consciousness and at the same time her human disguise faded.

Agent 1: well well looks like we had a bigger catch then we thought huh 2?

Agent 2: definitely now this confirms that this guy is worshipping demons we have a lot questions for her.

With max he drove into a beach looking area with rocks and he used his black arms to make them big to crush the car into a metal ball.

He decided to leave it among the rocks because it would take some time before people find it.

He was about to fly off but his hellphone ran out and it was Millie.

Max: hey Millie you have a job for me?

Millie: yeah and this is serious blitzo and moxxie got kidnapped by man and woman in black suits we need your help max!

Max was surprised by this and he had no objections.

Max: I'm coming.
