Chapter 210: Chapter 208: Truth Revealed
Once Mom had fallen asleep on the couch, I took her to her room while I headed to my room to rest, and I didn't bother leaving until well into the morning, though that was only because I heard a particular voice.
___
___
Hearing laughter from down below, I opened my eyes and sat upright in my bed as I stretched and yawned, though just as my senses began to focus on the world, causing me to rub my head in annoyance, I momentarily froze.
"Oh my, Jean, I didn't realize you know how to cook. You'll be an amazing Wife." "Ah, well, I've been practicing for a few years, Mrs. Kent." Said Hana and Jean, respectively, as the former teased with a smirk while the latter smiled with an ever-so-faint blush.
"Yeah, this food is delicious!" "Why don't you ever make this food at the school, Jean?" Remarked Kurt and Rogue, respectively, as the former stuffed his face full of food while the latter displayed more etiquette.
Inwardly groaning at those voices, I reluctantly stood up and exited my bed. My heavy footsteps gave away my presence as I saw everyone glance upwards at the ceiling.
"Huh, seems like someone is finally awake." Muttered Hana lightly with a glint as she took a bite of pancakes while shifting her gaze to Jean, who was preparing another plate.
Taking my sweet time as I realized I was now forced to tell Jean about my relationship with her sister, Sara, I eventually reached the first floor and entered the kitchen, where I saw Jean wearing Mom's apron.
"G-Good morning, Tut." Said Jean with a lovely smile as she glanced at Tut, who flashed a forced smile, only for her to suddenly push him out of the kitchen.
"Take your seat at the table; I have a surprise for you." Added Jean with a victorious smile as she gently pushed Tut out of the kitchen and toward the dining table where Kurt, Rogue, and Hana were sitting.
Reluctantly nodding, I sat down next to Kurt while Mom sat adjacent to my left at the head of the table, obviously since she was the one who owned everything here.
"What the hell are you two doing here?" Asked Tut blandly as he looked between Kurt and Rogue, though the former was too engrossed in eating to notice him.
"Language, Pharaoh. No cursing at this table." Stated Hana firmly as she took a bite of scrambled eggs while eyeing Tut, who faintly nodded before shifting his focus to Rogue.
"Well, Jean had proclaimed you and her were dating, and I didn't believe it, so I tagged along. Kurt was our mode of transportation, so it's obvious why he's here." Replied Rogue lightly with a skeptical gaze as she eyed Tut while pointing her fork at Kurt, who raised his head only to shrug his shoulders and continue eating.
'Dating? Why the hell would she say that? Because of that kiss? Oh, fuck me.' Thought Tut with a twitching expression as he glanced at Jean, who was humming a song with swaying hips while preparing her and Tut's plate.
"Ho, dating? I didn't realize you and Jean were dating; you never told me that, Pharaoh Kent." Remarked Hana calmly with a raised eyebrow as she eyed Tut, who winced at her words, though before he could explain himself, Jean exited the kitchen with two plates.
"Here you go, Pharaoh; a Jean special dish." Said Jean with a smile as she set the plate in front of Tut's seat, only to lean down and kiss his cheek, causing Rogue to whistle while Hana's expression hardened.
"Heh, it seems I was mistaken." Said Rogue with a smile as she playfully nudged Jean, who sat beside her with a deep blush.
"Pharaoh, so help me god, if you take a bite of that food without saying anything." Stated Hana sternly as she narrowed her eyes a Tut, who quickly placed the fork back down onto the table while Jean tilted her head in confusion.
"Is something the matter Mrs. Kent?" Asked Jean with furrowed brows as she glanced at Hana, who stood up while gesturing to Tut.
"You should be asking him. Rogue, Kurt, could you please follow me? I think it would best to give these two a private moment for what is about to be discussed." Remarked Hana softly as she pushed in her chair and picked up her plate while glancing between Rogue and Kurt, causing the former to tilt her head.
"Um, okay, Mrs. Kent. Kurt, c'mon." "Huh, what's going on? Eh, when did Tut get here?" Remarked Rogue and Kurt, respectively, as the former grabbed her plate and dragged the latter away from the table, prompting him to only now observe his surroundings.
Once Kurt, Rogue, and Mom vanished into the other room, leaving Jean and I alone, she turned and glanced at me with a somewhat concerned expression, which only made me feel worse for keeping everything a secret.
"Jean, um, I don't know how to put it, so I'll just say it. I'm already in a romantic relationship." Stated Tut awkwardly as he rubbed his head while glancing at Jean, who froze at his words.
Following my confession, there was an awkward silence for probably two full minutes of Jean silently staring at me, only for her to finally react as she barely managed to force a smile while lowering her head.
"O-Oh, i-is that so? W-Well, I-I'm h-happy for you. I-I just wish y-you told me s-sooner, y-you know, c-cause I'm y-your friend a-and all." Said Jean softly, her red hair blocking her face as she began to sniffle constantly.
"Y-Yeah. I-I'm sorry about that, Jean." Muttered Tut awkwardly as he averted his gaze, unable to even look at Jean.
"W-Well, w-who is the woman? G-Gwen? Y-You two get a-along really well." Asked Jean with a trembling voice as tears slowly dripped onto her food.
"Um, no. it's um, y-your s-sister… Sara. We've been dating for about 2 years now." Replied Tut awkwardly while wincing as he side-glanced at Jean, who suddenly stopped sniffling.

It took a moment to process Pharaoh's words as I had thought I had misheard him, but I eventually realized I was wrong.
'Sara? My sister? She's Pharaoh's girlfriend?' Thought Jean as she clenched her first hatred, anger, and betrayal slowly infesting her heart, subconsciously causing wisps of flames to ever so often erupt from her.
"Jean–" Said Pharaoh as he looked at Jean, only for her to suddenly stand up while approaching the other room, ignoring him altogether.
Blasting the doors of the hinges, startling the three conversing inside, I ignored Rogue and Mrs. Kent as I firmly placed a hand on Kurt's shoulder while transferring some of my memories of my house to his mind.
"Kurt. Take me there. Now." Stated Jean sternly as she glared at Kurt, who nervously gulped before meekly nodded.
"Y-Yes." Replied Kurt swiftly with a nod as he closed his eyes, focusing on Jean's memory, only for them to vanish just as Tut approached her.
Seeing my familiar backyard, I released Kurt and slammed the slide-glass door open as I stormed my way upstairs, focusing solely on Sara as I sensed her in her room. When I arrived at her room, I silently stood just outside, giving myself a moment before I confronted her.
"Haa, when is Pharaoh going to call me?" Said Sara with a slight frown as she held her phone above her face while scrolling through her contacts, causing her door to suddenly be blown open, scaring her.
"T-THE FUCK!? PHARAOH! O-Oh, my goodness, it's you, Jean, you fucking scared the piss out of me." Stated Sara in terror as she leaped out of her bed and backed away while screaming Tut's name, only to heave a sigh of relief when she saw Jean's figure.
"Wait, if you're here, does that mean everything with Apocolypse has been resolved? Oh, thank goodness! I've been fucking worried sick–" Added Sara excitedly as she ran towards Jean with a large smile, only for her to suddenly be pushed to the ground.
"I heard everything from Tut!" Said Jean, her words laced with venom as she stood over Sara, who furrowed her brows in confusion, only for her eyes to widen suddenly.
"Tut finally told you? Listen, Jean, I-" "No! Don't say anything! I don't want to hear your bullshit excuse!" Remarked Sara and Jean, respectively, as the latter aggressively waved her arm while glaring daggers at the former, who stood up.
"You knew, Sara…" Said Jean through gritted teeth as she clenched her fists while eyeing Sara, who stood up, while shamefully averting her gaze.
"... You knew I liked him! You knew! Yet… Yet you… I-I can't believe you, Sara. I-I thought… I thought we were sisters." Added Jean through teary eyes as she rubbed her face while lowering her head, causing Sara to bite her lip.
"Jean, h-how could you say that? Of course, we're sisters." Said Sara softly as she approached Jean while raising her hand, only to violently slap her arm away.
"NO! Sisters wouldn't go beyond each other's back and date the boy I liked! I liked Pharaoh for years, Sara! Years! You've even helped me in the past in trying to win over his heart! So how could YOU do this!?" Exclaimed Jean viciously as she glared at Sara, who furrowed her brows and crossed her arms.

Oh shit! Oh shit! Shit just got real! This is just like that one episode of Housewives of Atlanta!
No powers, just hands, who y'all got your money on? Jean or Sara? For reference sake, Jean is 5'5 and 135 pounds, and Sara is 5'9 170; however, don't forget their lifestyles.
(I've never actually watched that show; I just imagine every episode plays out exactly like this)
