Marvel:I can travel to the world of fairy tales

Chapter 11: ch 11:Storm

A pitch-black black hole slowly took shape, and Rock stepped out of it, holding a gold bar in his hand, playing with it. He looked around and finally settled his gaze on the wall clock.

"Eighteen days~"

"The time difference with Alibaba's world is very small, it seems to be a one-to-one time comparison."

This was a relief. It was far better than spending months in a fairy tale world only to return and find years had passed in the real world. Compared to the fairy tale worlds, the real Marvel universe was a hell-level challenge. If time moved too quickly, Earth could end up doomed before he returned.

Looking at the gold bar in his hand, Rock mused, Selling a few pieces occasionally wouldn't be a problem. But selling an entire mountain of gold? That's suicide.

It would be like carving "I'm a fat sheep, come and bite me" on his forehead.

For this, he needed someone trustworthy, capable, and ideally, morally upright to assist him.

...…

The next day, the weather was clear, with blue skies and fluffy white clouds.

Suddenly, the serene sky darkened. The clouds turned black, roiling as thunder boomed across the heavens.

Boom!

The next moment, a bolt of lightning tore through the sky and crashed to the ground. As the thunder dissipated, a figure appeared in it.

Rock looked at the familiar Storm standing before him, her iconic white hair flowing around her face. His expression remained calm.

While he respected her as a top-tier mutant, she didn't stir any particular feelings in him.

"Here she comes," he muttered.

Storm looked at Rock curiously.

"I haven't seen you for a while, and you seem to be a little different."

Rock shrugged:"People change. I'm still me,doesn't that suffice?"

Storm nodded:"I'm just curious.what happened, professor asked me to get here as soon as possible"

"A good thing," Rock replied with a smirk.

After saying that, Rock stopped talking, turned around and walked towards a container, while Storm followed closely.

He opened the door of the container and pulled it hard. Storm, who was originally just a little curious, was stunned. She stared at the things in front of her with wide eyes.

"My God..."

What did she see!

A gold mountain!

The legendary gold mountain!

It's not an exaggeration, it's not a description, there really is a gold mountain! A real, golden gold mountain!!

As a senior executive of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and the top combat force among mutants, Professor X naturally did not treat Storm badly. Storm's income is considerable, at least it can beat 99% of white-collar workers.

But!

This is a fucking gold mountain!!

How much is it worth?

One hundred million US dollars?

Or one billion US dollars?

Thinking of this, Storm felt a little dizzy.

This is definitely a number that makes people dizzy.

After a moment, Storm barely came back to her senses and said in an extremely complicated tone:"You… you didn't rob a bank, did you?"

Rock glanced at her and said,"If I really robbed a bank, would I contact you on my own initiative? Do you think I'm crazy!"

Storm looked embarrassed. Yes, their Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters sometimes helped to deal with similar matters and was considered a semi-official cooperative force. Real robbers would not be so arrogant as to contact them on their own initiative.

"You don't need to worry about their origins. I have already explained it to Professor X. All you need to do is take these back. Is that okay?"

Storm nodded when she heard this:"Of course, no problem!"

She can control the power of the storm and can send a tall building into the sky, not to mention a mountain of gold. This is why she was sent.

"Then I'm going to start."Storm glanced at Rock.

Rock locked the container, nodded, stepped back, and made enough space.

Storm took a deep breath, and the vast power in her body began to surge. Within a range of dozens of meters around her, thunder rolled and strong winds raged.

Looking at this scene, Rock narrowed his eyes slightly.

"This is the power of top mutants!"

Though classified as a Level 3 mutant, Storm's powers were amplified by her heritage as a descendant of Kenyan tribal witch. She had transcended her classification, standing on par with Level 4 mutants like Magneto and professor Xavier.

Of course, the same level does not mean there is no gap. To use a more fantasy statement, if professor X is considered the pinnacle of the fourth-level mutant, then Storm can only be considered a beginner at best.

But even so, it cannot conceal Storm's strength. In this comprehensive Marvel world where various events have not yet erupted, Storm can at least rank in the top ten in terms of combat power.

After a moment, his eyes eased.

He will also reach this level, and it won't take very long!

The winds rose higher, forming a tornado that swallowed the entire container. Storm floated into the air, guiding the storm with precision.

Moments later, the dark clouds dissipated, the thunder faded, and the skies returned to their clear, sunny state.

Rock looked up, then lowered his head again, waiting quietly.

After a while, his phone rang.A knowing smile spread across his face as he answered.

He answered the phone:"Professor, did you receive the things~"

Silence, after a moment of silence, a somewhat complicated voice came from the other side.

"You really scared me a little."

"It's shocking, but also a pleasant surprise, isn't it?" Rock quipped.

"This is not just a surprise"

"Ten million!"

"Ten million dollars is the reward."

Professor X's voice suddenly softened:"Well, this is really a lot of money, and the school really needs such an injection of funds."

"I'll handle this matter for you and won't let anyone find you."

"However, because the amount is too large, it may take me a while."

"Is half a month enough?"

"It should be enough"

"Good!"

After hanging up the phone, Rock curled his lips. So what if he is a mutant leader, in this modern world, money is omnipotent under certain circumstances.

Professor X was a good man, and Rock trusted him to handle the situation with integrity. However, if it had been anyone else, he wouldn't have been so willing to entrust them with the treasure.

"Half a month," Rock muttered. "That's enough time to prepare for the next step."

Rock straightened his collar and walked in one direction.
