Marvel: Undercover in S.H.I.E.L.D., I'm So Evil

Chapter 85: Chapter 85

"Anyway, that's the situation, and this is how it is." Kurohane sighed, a rare gesture from his usually cold demeanor. His tone held a mixture of sympathy and firmness. "We have plenty of time to prepare. Nebula from 2014 can contact Thanos from 2014 at any moment. No, I should say she can bring Thanos from 2014 to the 2023 timeline at any moment. Besides Tony's military gift package, do we have any other reinforcements?"

Kurohane currently held three Infinity Stones, but aside from the Time Stone in the Eye of Agamotto, which he could barely control and use, the Cosmic Cube could at most serve as a backup energy source. The Mind Stone could be used as an energy weapon with infinite bullets, he had no other way to use it. In battle, the bigger the scene, the better! The more people, the livelier the atmosphere!

"Do you know Carol Danvers?" Tony asked, his fingers dancing over holographic data. "She's our strongest trump card right now. But we've been trying to reach her for a long time, but she hasn't responded at all."

Rocket put away the large energy weapon he was holding and transformed it into a small square block which he tucked into his belt. This technology, it seemed, was commonplace to him.

"That blonde beauty carries the entire Universe on her shoulders, and she's not afraid of working herself to death," Rocket scoffed.

Kurohane frowned slightly. Captain Marvel was indeed strong, but I didn't particularly like her often-tense facial expression. I remembered watching her sequel—the casting was 'accurate' enough, but the characters... There was Ms. Marvel aiming for minorities, then a Black woman with an Afro and a curvaceous body like Madonna. Compared to those two abstract characters, Captain Marvel suddenly felt like the best in this world! She was beautiful, had a beautiful body, and could fight, far stronger than those two useless fighters!

"Keep trying to contact her," Kurohane decided. "When this strongest Avenger returns, we begin fighting!"

Kurohane's words were like an electric shock to Thor, who had been lying slumped for the past fifteen minutes. He rose languidly from his lounge chair, knocking over a substantial number of empty beer cans scattered around him.

"I am the strongest Avenger! Do you know what flows through my body?!" Thor growled, his voice hoarse, accompanied by a small burp.

"Cheese?" Rhodes, clutching his aching arm, looked at Thor with a puzzled expression, then nodded definitively after three seconds. What he said was entirely true, Thor's body was full of junk food!

"That's Thunder!!!" Thor slapped Kurohane's shoulder excitedly. His grip was strong, but he didn't mean to hurt. However, if Kurohane's body hadn't become much stronger, his collarbone would have at least shattered.

"Newcomer, I hope you can correct your statement," Thor puffed out his chest, though his bulging belly made the gesture look less heroic. "That blonde girl is strong, but the one who cut off Thanos's head was me!"

Kurohane first rubbed Thor's shoulder, then pulled out a bottle of beer from his Space Ring and handed it to Thor. He patted Thor's shoulder firmly, then pretended nothing happened and put his hand behind his back. Holy Energy rapidly circulated in his palm, dispelling the numbness. Even though Thor was covered in fat, his defense was no joke! Indeed, in the Marvel World, physics also existed, action and reaction were intertwined!

"Strongest Avenger, if possible, could you ask the Dwarf King to forge another Infinity Gauntlet?" Kurohane asked, his eyes looking at Thor expectantly.

"Why an Infinity Gauntlet?" Tony expressed his incomprehension of Kurohane's idea. "I can make a gauntlet using nanobots. It can also adapt to anyone's hand size, so anyone can snap their fingers." Tony thought it was just a glove. The most powerful part was clearly the Stones, not the gauntlet itself!

Kurohane pouted and began to explain to these Avengers why they needed an Infinity Gauntlet. Actually, these things should have been explained by Thor, the King of Asgard. The design for the original Infinity Gauntlet came from Asgard; there was even a sample in Odin's treasure vault. That was the one in Thor 3 that Hela, the Goddess of Death, said was fake.

The reason the Infinity Gauntlet was forged was to use the Infinity Stones to wage war in the Universe. Because Odin at that time held the Reality Stone and the Space Stone, but then Odin grew tired of war. So in the end, nothing came of it, and the Infinity Gauntlet design was simply given to the Dwarf King. But Thor's current fat brain was probably filled with beer.

Kurohane then thought about it again. Even if Thor hadn't become a fat man, he probably wouldn't have known about this. Because Odin, in his eyes, wasn't a warmonger, but a kind king and father.

In short, each Infinity Stone was like a super large nuclear reactor, capable of releasing powerful electricity. The Infinity Gauntlet was like a transformer, capable of outputting the Infinity Stone's energy at maximum power while protecting the user as much as possible from harm. That was the most amazing part.

A type like the Power Stone, which was all about brute force, almost annihilated the entire Guardians of the Galaxy just by being held in hand. The Time Stone was relatively peaceful and usually didn't like to show off. However, frequent use could very likely trap the user in an eternal time loop.

In short, using the Infinity Stones barehanded was possible, but even someone as strong as Purple Yam would turn into a baked yam after one or two more uses. The Hulk's hand was almost ruined after only wearing Tony's custom-made gauntlet. However, when Thanos wore the Infinity Gauntlet, he could use the Infinity Stones whenever he wanted! Although there were also reasons for the differences in human body shape, the Infinity Gauntlet played a huge role in this.

This was also why in Avengers 4, a group of people held the Infinity Stones but dared not use them. Even when they were defeated by Thanos's army, they only focused on sending the Stones back. Everyone had eyes, no one wanted to be the unlucky one. The Hulk couldn't handle it, so how could they?!

Although there were also reasons related to the screenwriter, this was how the greatness of Iron Man Tony was highlighted!

Kurohane smirked slightly. Tony's life was ruined by magic. If Wanda hadn't amplified his fear with magic, if a lazy Sorcerer Supreme hadn't been vague with her words and tricked him, how could a smart person like Tony willingly snap his fingers!

In short, after Kurohane's explanation, everyone understood the importance of the Infinity Gauntlet. But when everyone's eyes turned to Thor, he was lying on the ground again, dead for five minutes. Rocket stood on Thor's bulging belly, trying to use it as a stepping stone to bridge the height gap between himself and the other Avengers.

"No problem, I know where Nidavellir is," Thor suddenly got up, a flicker of his old spirit in his cloudy eyes. "Dwarf King Eitri and I have a good relationship. I helped him fix his forge, so forging an Infinity Gauntlet shouldn't be a big problem!"

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go now!" Kurohane quickly responded, his eyes gleaming. A new plan had formed.
