Marvel: Undercover in S.H.I.E.L.D., I'm So Evil

Chapter 72: Chapter 72

Kurohane actually wasn't going easy on these future Avengers. But, he had to admit, Ant-Man's sudden growth was too potent. The force of the punch that came after his enlargement was so immense that Scott himself directly collided with the shield. Kurohane spread his hands, showing his innocence with a faint smirk.

"I just put my shield in the path he enlarged into. He hit it himself!"

Smart Hulk simply shook his head, indicating that he didn't want to fight him for now. Kurohane nodded in satisfaction, and the Vibranium shield was thrown again. It flew towards Future Tony who was zipping by.

As Future Tony caught the shield, Kurohane passed through the portal he had opened. Then, before Future Steve could get close, he closed the portal, leaving the heroes from the future trapped in his mirror trap.

"Banner, why aren't you attacking now? Now we're all trapped in this Mirror Dimension!"

Future Tony landed from the sky, holding the Vibranium shield, then handed it to Future Steve. "You lost it again, Cap. If you lose it next time, I'm not giving it back to you!" His voice was full of Tony's characteristic teasing, yet there was a hint of concern.

"Thanks."

Future Steve took the shield and smiled wryly. Kurohane's action of catching the shield just now reminded him of an old friend, Bucky, who grew up with him since childhood but had turned to dust. That thought still weighed on him, otherwise, he wouldn't have taken a direct kick from Kurohane.

"Tony, that guy just now wasn't our enemy."

Dr. Banner pointed to where Kurohane had gone and flexed his large chest muscles. "Every Kamar-Taj wizard is here to protect our Reality. They have a history of thousands of years. You said that Dr. Stephen Strange used the Time Stone to see fourteen million outcomes. Yet the one moment we actually win might be this one. Because in this timeline, someone who shouldn't have existed in the first place has appeared!"

"Or another possibility? We didn't just travel through time, but also across Universes?" Future Steve suddenly uttered this, almost shattering the brains of the other two Avengers.

Tony first checked the temporal gauge on his arm and found nothing unusual. Just as he was about to explain Stark's technological prowess to his Captain, Future Steve spoke again, his eyes narrowing.

"Tony, when we fought that time, was the portal ever this calm?"

Future Tony: (confused). Gate? And a calm portal?

Tony, wearing his helmet, looked around and then found the portal standing upright in the air, seemingly calm. The scenery in the Mirror Dimension was still a projection of the outside world, but could be controlled by its user at will. In other words, there was now a portal above New York City, but no Chitauri invasion?

"Captain... are the Chitauri preparing to gather their strength for one attack?"

"I think something happened before we arrived at this point. And this event must have something to do with that wizard just now." Future Steve nodded seriously, then pointed to two gigantic footprints on one of the streets. Looking at Ant-Man Scott who had fallen to the ground, he said with absolute certainty:

"Scott grew big last time in Germany, but his footprints weren't this big! Or rather, his weight after growing big wasn't able to destroy asphalt roads! So there are only two possibilities, either the Chitauri created a giant, or Earth has gained a new superhero. My intuition says, that superhero is the wizard from earlier. What was his name again?"

Future Tony: (shocked). Smart Hulk: (curious). Scott Lang: (still unconscious).

"This matter is even stranger. It's not surprising that he could recognize us at a glance, but the fact that he clearly knew Ant-Man's fighting style isn't right! Therefore, that wizard must be able to see the future!" Future Steve came to a definitive conclusion. Unfortunately, his overly tight old-fashioned uniform, with his still-protruding buttocks, made him look less than serious.

After Kurohane left the Mirror Dimension, he didn't care what the future Avengers would do inside. Although Spider-Man once had the power to escape the Mirror Dimension, Kurohane now trapped the strongest Iron Man. Kurohane was confident Tony wouldn't be able to escape. It was still the famous slacker theory: Stephen Strange was used to slacking off. Could a high school student, even if he was a genius, escape the Mirror Dimension using the mathematical knowledge accessible to him in an American high school?

Kurohane said that screenwriter was just spouting nonsense. He himself was an underachiever who graduated from high school. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been selected by Hydra to become a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. There was only one reason, which was that Stephen Strange was lazy. He was even lazy when creating the Mirror Dimension. The repeated use of the same string code to generate Mirror Dimensions with identical terrains, even a fool could find the pattern, let alone the clever little Spider-Man!

Kurohane, who had just been about to go and fish for another whale, suddenly heard a voice on the radio, it almost deafened his ears!

"Hello, hello, Kurohane, can you hear me? Why couldn't I reach you earlier?"

"I'm warning you! If you dare to secretly turn up the volume of my radio again, don't blame me for slapping you! What's up, hurry up and say it." Kurohane didn't explain where he had just gone. It was better if people from two timelines didn't meet. Because if they met, only one was destined to survive. Even in the unscientific world of Marvel superhero films, this rule was followed.

Nebula went to the 2014 timeline and met her past self, and as a result, her 2014 version died. In Wanda's search for family, Wanda used Dreamwalking to find herself in another Universe, where she had both children and a happy life. And as a result, she herself died!

This wasn't superstition, perhaps it was like quantum mechanics or quantum entanglement. Of course, if you explained it using magic theory, Kurohane wouldn't know either! Underachieving students weren't divided by subject. Kurohane couldn't understand math books, and he couldn't understand magic books either!

Some spells in his mind were directly implanted into his head by the Ancient One and the Vishanti. He had read books for more than ten days, but hadn't learned a single spell!

"JARVIS has detected Loki's presence, not his pretty sister," Tony's voice came over the radio again, "it's the one you threw from the Helicarrier, and now he's speeding from the coast towards downtown! Thor is preparing to catch him, let's quickly go and deactivate that portal."

"No! I'm the one who should catch Loki!"

Kurohane finally understood at this moment. What were Chitauri soldiers? Except for the mothership, you couldn't squeeze much oil out of them even if you squeezed them dry. The main source of Justice Points in the Battle of New York was clearly Loki!

"I don't mind you catching Loki, but you have to tell me how to close that portal!" Tony said quickly.

"Pull the lever!" Kurohane answered, loudly.
