Marvel: The Ultimate Superman

Chapter 266: 265. Devouring Knull

◉◉◉◉◉

The planet behind Knull exploded into incandescent fragments, torn apart by the sheer force ripping through him.

Before he could recover, Nolan seized both of his arms, locking them in an iron grip.

"Damn you! Damn you!" Knull roared, thrashing violently.

Every part of his body that Nolan destroyed refused to regenerate. This wasn't just damage it was erasure.

The entropy rule stripped away his power and his form at the most fundamental level. Normally, Knull could reclaim scattered fragments from across his domain… but Nolan's dimensions had sealed the exit. Nothing lost here would ever return.

Their eyes locked Nolan's gaze blazing like twin suns. Then came the beams.

But these weren't ordinary Skyfather eye-beams they carried the force and rules of two stars compressed inside his body. Stellar law: purification, incineration, annihilation.

The blasts bored through Knull's black defense columns, melting them away. He was forced back, inch by inch, until the beams pierced directly into his eyes.

Knull screamed a sound that seemed to tear at the fabric of space. His soul was under siege, assaulted by both searing light and suffocating gravitational pressure. Every attempt to pull free only tightened Nolan's hold.

With a final crack, Knull's form burst apart, black ichor exploding into the void. His severed arms remained in Nolan's grasp.

Far away, the fragments swirled together, reconstituting his form smaller, weaker. His voice was low, venomous.

"I'll be back. Once I reclaim my sword, you'll—"

A black hole tore open behind him, and Knull vanished into it.

Elsewhere in the Galaxy

Knull staggered into existence, exhaling sharply. He would rebuild find another world teeming with life, repopulate his army of symbiotes, and then… Earth would burn.

A flicker of violet light cut through his thoughts.

His instincts screamed. He twisted just as a fist, burning with stellar fire, grazed his skull. The same hand hooked backward, tearing space like fabric and Knull found himself pulled into the waiting palm.

CRACK. His head exploded in a spray of black ichor. Fire from the heart of a sun roared from Nolan's hand, racing down Knull's headless body.

For all his darkness, the god of the abyss recoiled violently from the raw, absolute light of a star.

"You… followed me?!" Knull snarled, his head reforming as he stumbled back.

Nolan stepped through the portal, eyes cold.

"You've been sealed away so long, you've gone senile. Why wouldn't I follow?"

His body had already adapted to the twin suns' constant burn. The Pym-compressed stellar mass pressed heavier in his core now, fueling every strike. His fists ignited again, each punch exploding against Knull's form.

And for the first time, fear flickered in the god's abyssal eyes.

Nolan didn't stop. His blows blurred into a relentless storm, entropy eating through every layer of Knull's defenses. Each strike carried both the crushing gravity of stars and the devouring power of his dimensions.

Knull's thoughts turned desperate If I stay, I die.

But before he could detonate himself again, green chains of light erupted around him, coiling tight. Time itself locked into place.

"The Time Stone…?" Knull rasped, shock twisting into disbelief. "You're insane no Skyfather risks using temporal power directly! You'll draw the Time Dimension's backlash!"

"You're right about one thing," Nolan said, tightening his grip. "I am insane."

Knull thrashed, trying to tear through the temporal bindings, but every effort was met with Nolan's fists smashing him back down.

Entropy flooded his body with each blow, dismantling his essence bit by bit.

"You can't—" Knull choked. "You can't kill me like this—"

"Not killing," Nolan corrected. "Consuming."

Ancient One's voice brushed across his mind, calm and clinical.

"His essence is the Abyssal Void's projection into this universe another dimension. In darkness, it rivals Dormammu's domain. If you devour it, you'll gain an edge when that fight comes."

"How?" Nolan asked.

"With your dimensions. Find his core with your soul magic. Swallow it whole. The dimensions you control… are limitless."

Vishanti's power flared at Nolan's fingertips as his Skyfather-level spirit reached deep into Knull. He found it almost instantly a darkness so deep it felt like falling forever.

The Abyssal Void.

Without hesitation, Nolan hurled both of his dimensions at it not weaving or finessing, but smashing, overwhelming, and consuming.

Knull's scream became something primal, terrified.

"No… you— you're trying to devour my realm—ME! I am the Abyssal Void! You can't—"

But he could. Nolan's red-white twin-star dimensions twisted like gravitational whirlpools, dragging the black abyss into their core. And once it crossed the threshold, the Void found itself beneath a new sky two suns, intertwined, burning hotter than anything it had ever known.

The light closed in.

"NO—!"
